Lifnei Mishurat Hadin

Lifnei Mishurat Hadin
"Klal Yisrael speaks..."

Torat Hashem temimah (Tehillim 19:8), lifnei mishurat hadin...

and mishpat belongs to Elokim... "Devarim 1:17"

"D'bir (Elokah) KaKodesh, ruling the ruling:"

Two words, two dreams: "unpronouncable, unexecutable."

I dreamt two distinct yet connected dreams. First one, the demonic men of Moav:

A group of men1 (dayanim) whom I couldn't see, but could hear, were discussing my writings. They were trying to find a way to rule them "treif". The deliberations were intense and they were having a hard time finding a "proof argument" to rule them treif. Yet, they sure as - weren't going to stop deliberating until they found some reason to rule them treif. The group of men finally decided on the word "byte"2 in the phrase "byte by byte". Yes! They all concurred with the one who had suggested it. This is the reason, they unanimously agreed, they will use to rule my writings treif! So, they ruled my writings treif on account of the word "byte" in the phrase "byte by byte". But, I could sense "the contrived ruling was itself treif" and all those who had deliberated to rule it thusly knew it too. The ruling ruled falsely. And not one had properly defended my writings.3 Not one. The intent was not interested to discern "emet" (truth). It's interest was to manufacture evidence supporting a ruling of treif (dying).4 It was an unjust ruling, of Moav.

Second dream. Zechut eretz Yisrael (malchut-tiferet ).

I was heading toward town down the main road (derekh)5 that runs in front of the house. Yet, I was trying to get home. To get there I turned off the main road onto a side road (netiv derekh eretz) to turn toward the direction of home rather than heading into town. There was snow6 on the ground.

There were some hybrid crocodile-wild dogs eating animals they had hunted on the sideroad I had taken that led toward home. They eyed me. I eyed them right back, showing no fear. They let me pass, as without fear of them, I was too much "trouble" for them to attack.

It was dangerous country I was in. Strange wild and ferocious creatures populated it. I walked on. In the distance, at the edge of this wild countryside, I could see a gas station. Civilization! "If I can only make it to the gas station", I thought, I'll be safe. For some reason, these demonic creatures were confined to the wild country and couldn't enter civilized places.

I was almost there. Then suddenly, many green-colored humanoid creatures of large stature came out the woods nearby and started to attack me. The humanoid creatures looked like "the incredible hulk" creature (in the television series). Somehow, those from the civilization responded to the attack (whether with intent to defend me or as an unintended act of hashgachah pratis7, I don't know), shooting arrows into the mass of green humanoids. It distracted the creatures' attention away from me, who pulled out their bows and also shot arrows into the air.

Amidst a mass of flying arrows, I kept my eye (focused sight) on the gas station. I safely arrived to the edge of civilization.

I woke up.

Interestingly, yesterday there was a major natural gas leak by the country club down the road from the house where I am staying. We weren't really affected in any significant way (other than to hear the news of the event).

"Footnotes:"

1 Twenty-three judges are required to establish a beit din to judge capital cases, as judging something "treif" sentences it to the category of "dying" (treif).

2 yiddish byte (), see Altered States, Patach Mashiach, Behold, A Dove In The Tub, Kaparah the Noachide Laws apply to Jews as well as to non-Jews. In other words, the Noachide Laws are the universal spiritual laws which apply to all humankind. The particularity of any religious or moral tradition is established on the base of this universal human foundation. No particular system can "stand" without this base of righteousness. Not even Judaism. Judaism is a religious system based on Torah. Torah is not Judaism, despite that the religious system of Judaism is fashioned to "guard and transmit Torah". EDITORIAL REVIEWS

Not too long ago I made a commitment in my life to finally do something I knew I absolutely needed to do: to begin to grow so spiritually mature that I was bigger than any problems that could be thrown at me.

This is a principle I learned from reading T. Harv Eker's "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind." However, as a Christian, it's often necessary for us to take other factors into account. We, as Christians, don't have to go it alone in life. We have God, and God wants to bless us beyond belief.

Regardless of whether we're believers or not though, as John Hagee says in "The Seven Secrets, success is for everyone." Although success isn't necessarily what we think it is, it is available to all of us when we're willing to take the steps that will take us there.

Understanding what success is though isn't a key in this book. It is a prelude to achieving success in your life. Once you understand what success is and isn't, then you can work toward achieving it.

The way to do it is by applying the strategies outlined in this book by Hagee. These seven strategies are:

* The Power of Your Mind
* Perseverance
* True Self Esteem
* Self Mastery
* Communication
* The Power of Continuous Prayer
* Prosperity: Unleashing God's Abundance

How you think is vital to your success. Being willing to stick with it no matter how bad things get is crucial to your success. Having self esteem and self mastery, and learning to see yourself the way God sees you will contribute to your overall success. Building solid relationships with God, yourself, and others is ultimately what it's all about, and you learn how to do this by learning good communication.

When you cultivate these things in your life, apply the power of prayer, and believe God for His goodness, you will unleash His abundance.

Hagee shows you how to do all of these things in your life. Unlike a lot of Christian This book isn't to be missed. If your life isn't what you want to be, then you definitely need to read this book. Employ the principles, and it will change your life in ways you can't even imagine.

The Bible says, "the kingdom of God is within you." Find out what it is like to experience the Kingdom of God right now. Read this book and take action.

Childbirth Spells

Childbirth Spells

Invocation For Childbirth-

~Orphic Hymn 2 to Prothhyraea [Artemis]

To Prothyraia [Artemis],

Fumigation from Storax.

...

O venerable Goddess,

hear my prayer,

for labour pains are thy peculiar care.

In thee,

when stretched upon the bed of grief,

the sex,

as in a mirror,

view relief.

Guard of the race,

endued with gentle mind,

to helpless youth benevolent and kind;

benignant nourisher;

great nature's key belongs to no divinity but thee.

Thou dwellest with all immanifest to sight,

and solemn festivals are thy delight.

Thine is the task

to loose the virgin's zone

and thou in every work art seen and known.

With births you sympathise,

though pleased to see

the numerous offspring of fertility.

When racked with labour pangs,

and sore distressed

the sex invoke thee,

as the soul's sure rest;

for thou Eileithyia alone

canst give relief to pain,

which art attempts to ease,

but tries in vain.

Artemis Eileithyia,

venerable power,

who bringest relief

in labour's dreadful hour;

hear,

Prothyraia

and make the infant race thy constant care."

Spell For Easy Childbirth-

~From: Crone's Book of Magical Words

To use the herb Motherwort

for an Easy Travail

...

When motherwort, undaunted weed,

Has sprung and flowered and gone to seed,

Gather the stalks with heads and leaves,

Tie them tin cords to five strong sheaves;

Batter their tips against a wall

Until the seeds, sharp-spined, shall fall,

And when they are scattered upon the ground,

These words will render the womb unbound:

Seeds that wound,

Husks that bind,

Leave only peace

And joy behind:
Take away pain,

Let strength remain.

Untie the stalks and strip them bare,

Fold their leaves in a velvet square,

Sew up the charm with yellow thread:

As soon as the woman is brought to bed,

See that she hold it in her hand

For ease, as weeds are born from the land. Spell For Naming The Unborn-

~Found in: Crone's Book of Magical Words

When the womb is six months full,

Carry wine in a silver bowl

... To a place where sun may turn it gold;

There, on a dozen chips of wood,

Write twelve names to name the child -

Male and female, six of each;

Let them drift upon the flood,

While, with eyes closed, forth you reach

And choose the name that meets your hand:

Draw the fragment out, and stand

Facing the sun, to read its sign

Inscribed forever from this time:

Now draw others, until you find

The other sex to match its twin -

And know that either name is good,

So given by sun and wine and wood.

A Skeptic Blows Minds At Dragoncon

A Skeptic Blows Minds At Dragoncon
We are beginning a new series for our weekly blog in which we sporadically offer guest writings by Process Media and Feral House authors. Here is the first in the series by Feral author Mark Edward. See his book HERE.

"BY GUEST FERAL FRIDAY BLOGGER MARK EDWARD:"

"Dragoncon 2012 was an absolute blast this year. In between getting to meet Alice Cooper through my friend James Randi and wading through thousands of the most intense costumes I have ever seen in one place ever, I managed to get a standing room only 400+ group of both paranormal seekers and skeptical minds in one room for an hour of my best psychic "readings."

Using some of the skills I wrote about in "Psychic Blues", I laid it on thick and in the character of a "medium" for the first fifty minutes; accurately telling different people I was sorry they had recently lost their pet dog, how another had recently had some difficulty with her brown car and in one of those moments every mentalist or psychic lives for; I blew one woman away by telling her I saw a vision of the name "Stanley" and a picture that came into my mind of a clown walking through a graveyard, putting flowers on the graves. She stood up and looked like she was going to break out in tears. She then proceeded to tell the stunned audience that when she was a little girl in her home town, there was a "crazy old man" who used to dress up as a clown and put flowers on the tombstones in the local cemetery. Her name was Cindy, but amazingly, he called her "Stanley." I had even described his long clown shoes.

So how did I do that? I can't tell you here, it would take too long. But suffice it to say that this woman was so freaked she came up after the show, (after I had done the "reveal" to the rest of the audience explaining how I had accomplished what they had only a few minutes before been so taken in by) and flatly refused to believe the simple "law of large numbers" explanation I gave her. When I asked if she had been about to cry, she answered with a line that I will always remember and that made the whole trip to the humid climes of Atlanta in August worthwhile. She said, no, she had been so struck by what I had said, she said, "I was gonna' puke." High praise indeed for a psychic with the blues.

It is always very satisfying to see the look of wonderment on an audiences' face when I spin my readings out into their midst, but even more rewarding when I stop, then quickly ask, "You didn't think I really saw dead people around you talking to me did you?" Then proceed to swiftly explain exactly how I knew what I knew and how I found out about that specific information. When teaching magic, this is what I refer to as the "ah ha" moment. When illusion suddenly turns into disillusion I can audibly hear the crowd either groan in a sort of despairing exclamation, or simply moan at the realization of how simple it all really is. As I told the crowd the next day in my lecture on the how and why of what I did, it's as if the audience exhales their ignorance. It may not be as enchanting or mystical as going away thinking I could read their minds, but it shows in a flash just how easy it is for today's crop of psychics, mediums and grief vampire charlatans to convince an audience that they have supernatural powers or a direct line to the world of ghosts and spirits. If I could do that, I would be the most dangerous mind on the planet."

Banding Together In The Cretan Fashion

Banding Together In The Cretan Fashion
The Hellenic word synkretismos () means (more or less) "Cretan federation." The origin of the word lies in the ancient habit of the people of Crete to fight among themselves when no external enemy threatened, but to band together and fight as one against any would-be foreign invaders.

The first recorded use of the word is in Plutarch's essay "On Brotherly Love", although it appears that Plutarch is referring to a well known term he expects his reader to recognize (the direct mention of syncretism comes right at the beginning of the following passage, but the rest of this section is well worth reading through, as is the entire essay found at the link):

Then this further matter must be borne in mind and guarded against when differences arise among brothers: we must be careful especially at such times to associate familiarly with our brothers' friends, but avoid and shun all intimacy with their enemies, imitating in this point, at least, the practice of Cretans, who, though they often quarreled with and warred against each other, made up their differences and united when outside enemies attacked; and this it was which they called "syncretism."

For some there are, fluid as water, who, seeping through those who relax their hold and disagree, overthrow affinities and friendships, hating indeed both sides, but attacking the one which yields more readily because of its weakness. For while it is true that when a man is in love his young and guileless friends share his love, it is also true that the most ill-disposed of enemies make a show of sharing the indignation and wrath of one who is angered and at variance with his brother.

As, then, Aesop's hen said to the cat who inquired, with pretended solicitude, of the sick bird "How are you? Very well, if you keep away"; so one would say to the sort of person who brings up the subject of the quarrel and makes inquiries and tries to dig up some secrets, "But I shall have no trouble with my brother if neither I nor he pay attention to slanderers."

But as it is - I do not know the reason - although when we suffer from sore eyes, we think it proper to turn our gaze to colours and objects which do not beat against or offend the sight, yet when we are in the midst of fault-finding and bursts of anger and suspicion toward our brothers, we enjoy the company of those who cause the disturbance and we take on from them a false colouring, when it would be wise to run away from our enemies and ill-wishers and avoid their notice, and to associate and spend our days almost entirely with relatives and intimates and friends of our brothers, visiting their wives also and frankly telling them our reasons for complaint.

And yet there is a saying that brothers walking together should not let a stone come between them, and some people are troubled if a dog runs between brothers, and are afraid of many such signs, not one of which ever ruptured the concord of brothers; Eyet they do not perceive what they are doing when they allow snarling and slanderous men to come between them and cause them to stumble.

[Plutarch, On Brotherly Love, P19]

In the anthology Syncretism in Religion: A Reader, several of the contributors (Anita Maria Leopold, Michael Pye, Kurt Rudolph, Charles Stewart, and Luther H. Martin) discuss the origins and evolution of the word syncretism and it's meanings over time and in different contexts. (In the remainder of this post I will primarily be following Leopold, especially pp. 14-19.)

There is a positive meaning of "syncretism", dating back to the Renaissance, which is close to the original sense of the term, at least as understood by Plutarch, who associated syncretism with nothing less than the virtue of "brotherly love." This positive usage (in an Early Modern Christian European context) is owed to Erasmus of Rotterdam (1469-1536), who explicitly called upon Plutarch's syncretic Cretans for moral support, and as a precedent worthy of emulation, in the cause of advocating for a reconciliation of (often violently) competing Christian sects. In particular, Erasmus held up the example of the Cretans as illustrative of his adage #764: "Concordia fulciuntur opes etiam exiguae." Which means: "With concord even slight resources are strengthened."

Erasmus, and those who agreed with him, such as Georg Calixt (1586-1656), found themselves accused of syncretism, and here we encounter the negative meaning that some Christians have imposed on the word. This negative sense can also be understood with reference to the original meaning, for the negative sense denigrates syncretism as something resorted to at best out of necessity, or at worst out of sheer opportunism. At any rate it dismisses (or even condemns) syncretism as at the very least ad-hoc and unseemly to the point of being completely unacceptable to those seriously engaged in the lofty business of theology.

To make things more complicated, those who subsequently defended Erasmus and Calixt often accepted the negative sense of syncretism as a given, and, therefore, couched their arguments in terms of denying the charge of syncretism against Erasmus and Calixt, despite the fact that both had themselves self-identified explicitly as syncretists.

Things become even more muddled when we move from the Renaissance to the 16th and 17th centuries, when syncretism still appeared one way (negatively) to sectarian theologians who were narrowly focused on Christendom's European stronghold. They were only interested in drawing bright ideological lines to separate the correct/orthodox interpretation of the one true divine teaching from all that was "error", and to thereby guard against the unholy mongrelization of purebred truth that would result, tragically, from any unblessed unions with unclean ideas.

But by now there was a new variety of churchmen: those adventurous gatherers of souls who cast their gaze well beyond Europe, even unto the poor unbaptized savages of the New World and the Far East. To these globe-trotting missionaries, syncretism, far from being a threat to the purity of Christian teachings, instead appeared to hold the key to spreading the Gospel to the furthest reaches of the Earth. Here is how Anita Maria Leopold explains it: The expansion of Christianity in the sixteenth century was the basis on which the notion [of syncretism] became part of the mission policy. It was in the irenic ["conducive to peace and reconciliation"] sense of the term that the Franciscans and the Dominicans in Mexico planned in 1524 and in the tradition of Erasmus, "to settle the Indians around churches... and convert them by colourful ceremonies". In the East, the Jesuits regarded syncretism as a means to expand their mission, in a similar way to the Jesuit Francis Xavier (1542), who worked out a scheme to convert Japanese lords to Christianity by adapting Christianity to Japanese culture. As a result, local customs not directly in contradiction to Christianity were to be accepted. In China, another Jesuit, Matteo Ricci (ca. 1600), accepted Confucian rites and ancestor worship as a way of serving missionary purposes. He even wore the robes of a Confucian scholar.

In ancient Germanic runecasting rituals, the eighth step of the rune rite calls for confirmation of a rune reading by omen. So, after reading last night's rune, what confirms the rune reading and it's Seven people are dead and two critically injured in a massacre at a southeastern Georgia mobile home, though police won't say whether they think the killer is on the loose or among the dead.

"This is a record for us. We've never had such an incident with so many victims," Doering told reporters. "It's not a scene that I would want anybody to see.

The 1,100 acre tract is all that remains of a Crown grant made in 1763 to Henry Laurens, who later succeeded John Hancock as president of the Continental Congress in 1777.

Laurens obtained control of the South Altamaha river lands and named it New Hope Plantation, according to the plantation's Web site.

In Jewish kabbalah, seven is the magical number-letter (zayin) of an adornment - like mannaz is the adornment of the ship of safe passage in relationship to my dream. Again, the magical alphabets of my ancestors are in agreement within me.

There was a massacre... on a tract of land which is all that remains of a Crown - just as the massacre in my dream concerned the cut up crown of a woman's head.

The first owner of the land was involved in 'politics and wealth' as the President of the Continental Congress in 1777 - just I was chosen by the President in my dream to investigate the massacre.

The President's tract where the massacre occurred is called river lands in the news article - which links to Mysteries of the Staircase, the rune dream previous to last night's rune dream which contained references to a race of land-bound people and a race river-ice people.

"The power to reveal the future can be a blessed gift,"but be sure to use it wisely"don't get so caught up in knowing the future that you forget the present"

"- Jasmeine Moonsong"

Merry Meet and Good Morning :))) Blessings to you and yours for a magickal day today. Today is Saturday, June 23, 2012

Saturdays are ruled by Saturn. Saturn's seemingly infinite journey around the Sun connects us to a greater world beyond. Today is a day of wisdom and awareness. It's a wonderful day to work on spiritual awareness and connection with the divine. Take some time to meditate today and connect with the universal energy. When working with stones today choose to wear turquoise, labradorite, or diamond for protection. Use amethyst in amulets.

The Moon tonight is Waxing First Quarter in Leo. The Waxing Moon is when the moon is getting larger in the sky, and moving towards the full moon. It is the ideal time for magick that draws things towards you bringing about positive changes. The Waxing Moon represents the Goddess in her Maiden aspect. The Maiden is all about new beginnings, youthful ideas and enthusiasm. The Moon in Leo draws emphasis to the self, central ideas, or institutions, away from connections with others and other emotional needs. People can tend to be melodramatic. The magickal color of the day is Gray, and the incense of the day is Rue. Have an amazingly magickal day!

Noiembrie Sarbatori Traditii Si Obiceiuri Religioase

"Sarbatori, traditii si obiceiuri crestin - ortodoxe pe 14 noiembrie"

SFANTUL APOSTOL FILIP

In clipa cand Apostolul Filip si-a dat sufletul Domnului, pamantul s-a deschis, inghitind in dansul atat pe guvernator, cat si pe multi preoti pagani. Numerosi pagani ce au supravietuit acestui cataclism s-au inspaimantat si au ajuns sa creada in Hristos, fiind botezati de catre Vartolomeu. Sfantul Vartolomeu a continuat sa propavaduiasca Evanghelia in multe alte locuri, iar Sfanta Mariamni a calatorit la raul Iordanului, unde s-a savarsit in pace.

SFANTUL GRIGORIE PALAMA

In 1347, Sfantul Grigorie Palama a devenit episcop de Tesalonic, servind in aceasta demnitate pana la moartea sa.

Masked Ball Magician

Masked Ball Magician
photo by Daniella Cesarei

I WAS ASKED IF I WOULD BE A MAGICIAN AT A MASKED BALL FOR A CHARITY EVENT FOR RAYS OF SUNSHINE AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE AN INTERESTING NIGHT!

The day started with a couple of meetings, so I managed to get ONE MAYFAIR an hour before I call time. Earlier in the day I had managed to get hold of a mask from angles, which enabled me to be correctly dressed at the MASKED BALL, as you can see in the photograph above. When I arrived at the venue, I got my CLOSE UP MAGIC ready and wandered round so I could get to know the lie of the land. I put my MASQUERADE MASK on that i had bought earier and as it was the 1st time I'd worn one during a performance it took a few attempts to work out the appropriate way to secure it so that it was comfortable. I spent some time initially speaking to Tiffany Redman, an opera singer, and her mother whom had situated themselves within the VIP section, I stayed here until the event opened.

As people started arriving I noticed that the other MAGICIANS at the event were all downstairs so I stayed within the VIP section is not to tread on their toes of any of the other entertainers. I spent almost the entire evening within the VIP section only venturing down at 11 o'clock but I will write about that in a moment.

It was great to see that everyone had put so much effort into their night out. One of the more bizarre moments of the evening was when during a performance, another MAGICIAN came over and interrupted mine by started performing, he explaining only the best MAGICIANS were allowed to perform in the VIP section and that's why they hadn't seen one yet. When it became apparent, as the other spectators said I was a magician, I was told to chill out, in so uncertain turns, however as I just took a step back and allowed him to continue I'm not entirely sure how he felt I had acted inappropriately, he also exclaimed if i wasn't wear a mask he would have realised, however it was a MASKED BALL. He proceeded to say that he would watch my act before storming off saying I'm not going to wait, even though i had started, it certainly left the weird vibe however it didn't take long to change the atmosphere back to a jovial one.

I had focused most of my efforts onto one side of the balcony within one Mayfair so I headed over to the other side, which was less jam-packed than where I was. I had been performing for 2 hours and in truth due to where I was I had not seen or heard any other acts that were partaking at the event, other than the magician just mentioned and the time was just flying by. Whilst I was performing for a couple they noticed that GREG RUTHERFORD was one of the guests, for those of you reading this and can't place the name with the face he is one of the BRITISH OLYMPIC GOLD MEDALLISTS from the 2012 OLYMPICS. This was the 2nd time I'd seen him at an event in a month however I have yet to write the blog about that event. When I had met him at the last event I'd not had a good opportunity to show him any CLOSE UP MAGIC however at the MASKED BALL I was able to perform and chat with him. One of the other guests that was with him was JONATHAN ABBOTT FROM HUGO BOSS, you may be able to tell from crisp lines and perfect fit, Greg Rutherford suit was made by HUGO BOSS. I performed CLOSE-UP MAGIC to him and his party before mingling with other guests until I realised it was 11 o'clock and headed back downstairs.

I continued performing CLOSE-UP MAGIC to the guests and encouraging them to go and have a look at the signed memorabilia that was being auctioned off in an attempt to raise more money the charity rays of sunshine. My last group I perform to were some of the staff from square mile which included, LOREN PENNEY, she looked amazing in her dress from girl meets dress. When I went over to her I asked if she'd like to see some CLOSE-UP MAGIC. Lauren immediately said yes and told me she was going to guess my name which, unfortunately she failed to do, only remembering 3 of the 4 MAGICIANS names but after my performance she told me she would never forget my name again and the SQUARE MILE twitter feed reiterated this with a tweet

Amazing magic from @ROBERTPOUND at the #SQUAREMILEMASKEDBALL last night. No-one will forget his name!

it was then that I realised I had to rush to get my train home I was able to say goodbye to the SQUARE MILE staff, JONATHAN ABBOTT and GREG RUTHERFORD and friends before rushing home after a very successful night at the MASKED BALL.

The next day I had a lovely message form one of the guest saying @ROBERTPOUND Loved meeting you at the MaskedBall, your skills blew me away! Damn that queen, she always got away from me &@TORIAPENNELL! x and some correspondence Through Facebook, it was a brilliant night that raised a lot of money for charity. I also have a brilliant mask for any other MASKED BALL enquiries.
