TO purify our mind, we need to first broaden ourselves with activities of compassion so as to gradually get rid of the self-centered habits.
TO broaden ourselves, we should FIRST FILL OUR MIND with BEAUTIFUL THOUGHTS:
WE should try to make our mind like land, because land has beautiful virtues: when animals shed their excrement on land, land never express anything angrily, because it is not swayed and is completely indifferent; when humans (the rich and famous, sages and saints, or perfect people) walk over land, land feels nothing, again because it is not swayed and is completely indifferent.
Land is not involved or affected by favorable or dangerous situations. Land always welcomes all kinds of situations. It will not take or give up anything, is never confused, is never swayed or attracted by anything, never starts an idea or gives up an idea, peacefully enjoys leisure and endures patiently, and is completely serene. These are some of the beautiful virtues of the land that we step on every day.
IF you have no mind to all living things, then what's the harm of letting these things surround you? We really should learn the spiritual part of land and cultivate the broad and generous mind. This will help to purify our mind.
THE GOOD and THE BAD:
WHEN you face favorable situations or dangerous situations, you can still do everything without the least worry and feel comfortable and able to do anything of your own free will. When you meet somebody, perhaps the person you like the least in your life, a person who looks at you with dirty stares, do you still feel comfortable and free? As a matter of fact, in these kinds of moments, there is a fight between "The state of holiness and wisdom" and "The temptations or evil influence." If we use the worldly words it's like a fight between "The Good" and "The Bad." Becoming The Good or The Bad is all depended on our MIND.
BECAUSE The Good and The Bad are decided by our mind, maybe we can put it this way: The Good and The Bad share our mind. When The Good defeats The Bad, the whole of our mind is Good. When The Bad defeats The Good, the whole of our mind is Bad. From this angle you might have an idea that The Good and The Bad are all from our mind.
THE way our mind treats the situations we face creates the difference between "The state of holiness and wisdom"(The Good) and "The temptations or evil influence"(The Bad). If our mind is contaminated by situations, the mind becomes "The Bad." If our mind is not contaminated by situations, the mind becomes "The Good".
WHY BOTHER:
WHEN adverse circumstances come, just let them do what they like; when adverse circumstances go, just let them do what they like also. When fortunate circumstances come, just let them arise naturally without extra effort; when fortunate circumstances go, again just let them depart naturally without extra effort. Our mind should not be linked up with any circumstances, whether good circumstances or bad circumstances. This will help Purify Our Mind.
WHEN adverse circumstances come, do not feel delighted, when adverse circumstances leave, do not feel disappointed. If the mind feels delighted or disappointed, it shows that we can not control ourselves. In this moment, our mind will have all kinds of entanglements of love, hate, desire, and possession by force. After this step, all kinds of problems will follow and never end.
THE IDEA OF the word "IMPERMANENT":
IF we observe things around us, we will find out that "None is permanent". Things, whether material or non-material, change constantly. Some of the changes are evident, some of them are not. Ever since life began, natural phenomena have been like this. From this point of view, we should understand that things always arise depending on conditions. When the appropriate conditions come together, things arise; when those conditions disperse, things cease.
IF you could understand the point that Nothing is permanent, you will not keep thinking of something in your memory all the time, because it is impermanent and will eventually vanish, no matter how much you keep remembering it. In such a case, why don't we just leave it alone?
IN the Universe, everything that we can see, hear, and think of all arising depending on conditions, meaning that everything is impermanent. The people we love the most or the situations we like the most will all vanish. The people we hate the most or the situations we like the least will all vanish too. Do we still want to persist in our own opinions of things that happen one minute and vanish the next in this world?
THE THOUGHTS in OUR MIND:
THERE are all kinds of thoughts in our mind: evil thoughts, greedy thoughts, and kind thoughts. These thoughts are always confused, tangled, profuse, disordered, and most of the time, we can not control them. Actions, motions, works, and even mistakes all arise from thoughts in our mind. When we put an idea of going to a place in our mind, then action will lead our body to that place. When we start an idea of going to the church, then action will bring us to that church. We will spend our entire fortune doing something because of a little thought in our mind. We will begin to be deeply attached to one thing or act on momentary impulse because of a little thought in our mind. We will offend people by our words because of a little wrong thought in our mind. We might do something offensive or harmful to society's morals because of a little evil thought in our mind.
WE always maneuver for positions or benefits against rivals. We try to cause alienation between friends or relatives by spreading rumors or doing something. Does anybody know why? It is because "What one is thinking of at any given moment is often evil thoughts."
THE Good and The Bad all are from our MIND. We are the masters of the mind and also are the watershed of The Good and The Bad. Mind produces all kinds of thoughts; mind is the origin of events that follow from Good thoughts and Bad thoughts. From this point of view, we all should understand how important it is to purify our mind.
TO DEAL with THOUGHTS:
IF we want to avoid disasters or calamities made by ourselves, we have to stop putting ideas in our head. The moment we stop an idea arising is called "True Awakening".
THERE are all kinds of garbage in our mind. If we want to purify our mind, getting rid of the garbage in our mind might be the first thing we have to do. What is the garbage of mind? Dirty and polluted thoughts, greedy thoughts, hateful thoughts, infatuated thoughts, worried thoughts, suffering thoughts, haughty thoughts, impudent thoughts, envious thoughts, indecent thoughts, heterodox thoughts, dreary thoughts, and hollow thoughts. These can all be called garbage of the mind.
Someone in history said once that one who can govern a battalion of a million soldiers is not a hero: the real hero is that person who can govern his mind. We should understand the meaning of these words.
IF an evil thought arises in our mind, then more evil thoughts like water will come in torrents; nothing can ward them off. These evil thoughts will forever lead us to thinking, speaking, and acting evil. Ever since life began, the habitual temperament of human beings makes us like this. It is doubly difficult to get rid of them.
WHEN we can govern our thoughts, our mind will not be affected by situations. From this, our mind can be free. This is a very hard level to reach, but the first step always is hard.
FOR those who have too many friendly feelings (such as being crazy about women), if they do not control their feelings well, they will follow their thoughts and will sink into the deep sea of feelings. For those who desire wealth and honor greatly, their minds are clouded by material desires, the covetous thoughts will lead them to fame and wealth, and they will be in the bondage of reputation and wealth forever.
ALWAYS keep a watch on thoughts in your mind. Try to realize or know what and where your thoughts are. As a matter of fact, according to the experienced people's idea, "Thoughts always vanish when you watch them." If we could practice like this all the time, the power of our thoughts will decrease over time. This is not a very easy level to reach, but at least we have an idea that there is a way to get rid of thoughts.
LIKE we mentioned, things arise always depending on conditions: when conditions come together or gather together, things arise; when conditions disperse or dispel, things cease. [This is a doubly important notion]. When we understand this notion, we will also understand that everything in the universe is impermanent; from this point of view, it should be easy to get rid of CLINGING, and always persisting in our opinion. Always remember and practice the notion of IMPERMANENCE. This will help to purify our mind a lot.
THE ORIGINAL NATURE OF HUMAN BEING:
WE should live in a world which belongs to our real inner self or original nature of human being. This world is bright and brilliant, where there no dispute, and we are not bothered by material concerns. It is pure and peaceful, enjoying leisure and not sorrowful; but we never try to act in response to this world, we never try to be a friend of our real inner self. The only thing we do day in and day out is to try and climb up socially. This is what the Chinese call "Attending to the superficials and neglecting the essentials".
WHEN our real inner self is led astray by human desires, we all know that desires are bottomless. We all will not be able to do anything of our own free will, and we become the slaves of human desires.
THE power of temptation of human desires is doubly brutal. Some people always try to attain their desires with nefarious tactics. The moment we have a thought like this, the moment we lose the chance to contact our real inner self, we are going to be gone far away from purifying our mind.
OUR mind will not stop producing thoughts because of human desires. Therefore, our real inner self will be clouded by material desires forevermore, and our original nature will be contaminated forevermore also.
WHY does our mind always produce thoughts? Before we talk about this subject, maybe we should understand some evil ingredients in our mind. According to the experienced people's idea, " Being greedy for everything, angry at everything, and not understanding the real truth are the most common evil ingredients in our mind."
THESE evil ingredients influence and poison our mind very strongly. That is the reason why our mind produces thoughts every minute of the day. And like we mentioned, "What one is thinking of at any given moment is often evil thoughts." From this, we should understand that fighting these evil thoughts is the most important thing we are going to do.
TO REDUCE THE THOUGHTS IN OUR MIND:
BESIDES what we have already mentioned, there are other ways to reduce thoughts in our mind. Here we try to introduce some of them. Hopefully this will benefit everybody who is seriously interested in this field.
TRY our level best to understand that all living things in the universe are equal; otherwise, we will have a special mind which always looks at things from a dualistic perspective. For example, making a distinction between the good and the bad. And all the problems will be starting from right here, such as "Always persist our own ideas", "Always argue", "Always hate", "Always fight",...and never stop.
LIKE we mentioned in the beginning, we should try to make our mind like LAND, and be tolerant of other people's mistakes, or wrongdoing or weaknesses. Try to express solicitude for everybody (Friends, enemies, good, and bad) equally. Try not to dispute or discuss in minute detail gaining or losing. Try not to be moved by sad or delighted things. Try not to feel so pleased when people respect or praise us. Try not to hate or abhor when people slight us.
WHEN people show their beautiful virtues (like helping others), we should show our respect and join in their actions, and we should try not to be jealous of other people's beautiful virtues. When we see people facing troubles, we should not gloat over their disaster.
ACCORDING to the experienced people's idea, "The highest wisdom comes from a merciful heart", the merciful heart comes from "Solving people's problems without any conditions and helping people to get peace, calm, and sagacity without any conditions either".
IF we look at things or treat things unequally, from here, all the worry, trouble, and prejudice will be produced almost right away. Thus if we want to purify our mind, we have to learn to look at things or treat things with equality.
SOMEDAY when we realize that all the beings are equal and could be blend or mix together, and become "ONE" in some way, we will understand really what is the "Real Truth".

KATHERINE HOWE: I am so looking forward to learning more about Daughters of the Witching Hill. As I started the book, I was curious about something. The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane covers some well-worn territory in American history: the Salem witch trials, which we all learn about in school so early that it's hard to really know when they appear for the first time in our culture. Can the same be said for the Pendle witches in British history? If so, how did you feel about revisiting something already so well known? And if not, how did you first learn about them?
MARY SHARRATT: It's so wonderful to be doing this interview with you. I'm such a fan of The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane!
Unlike the Salem Trials which are so well known that they've become almost a part of the American psyche, I wouldn't say that the Pendle Witches are that well known outside the Pendle region. I think many people in other parts of England might find them as unfamiliar as Americans would. The most famous English witch trials would be those associated with Matthew Hopkins's career as a witchfinder during the anarchy that ensued during the English Civil War.
So, although the Pendle Witch Trials were meticulously documented by court clerk Thomas Potts in his book, The Wonderfull Discoverie of Witches in the Countie of Lancaster, I'd say that they are not so well known. Novels and academic studies have been written about them, of course, but not so many that I felt like I was treading on over-familiar ground.
KH: I am not surprised to hear that the Pendle witches are a bit more obscure than Matthew Hopkins' witches. How did you first stumble upon this mysterious history in your area?
MS: When I first moved to the Pendle region in 2002, I hadn't heard anything about the Pendle Witches, but once you are in the region, it's impossible to ignore this history. There are images of witches everywhere: on private houses, pubs, bumper stickers, walking trail signs, realtors' logos, a whole fleet of commuter buses going into Manchester.
At first I thought these witches belonged to the realm of fairy tale and folklore, but once I learned the actual history, I was so moved by their story. Seven women and two men from this region were hanged for witchcraft at Lancaster in 1612, but the most notorious among them, Elizabeth Southerns, aka Old Demdike, the heroine of my book, died in prison before she came to trial. She was a cunning woman and healer of long-standing repute who had practiced her craft for decades before anyone dared to interfere with her or stand in her way. Another accused witch, Mother Chattox, was also a renowned cunning woman-Mother Demdike's rival. Alizon Device, Demdike's granddaughter, was first to be arrested and last to be tried at Lancaster. Her last recorded words before she was hanged were a passionate vindication of her grandmother's legacy as a healer.
What moved me was not only the family loyalty but the fact that these women believed in their own powers and made no attempt to hide who they were when interrogated by their magistrate. They seemed very proud of their perceived powers.
KH: I was particularly intrigued by your representation of the relationship between the cunning folk tradition in late Medieval and early modern England with the loss of the Catholic faith and its mysteries. In effect it seems as though Demdike and her family are merely adherents of what the book calls the "old religion," though the story is often agnostic on whether that term refers to Catholicism or to something pre-Christian. I gather that some of that representation draws on the work of Keith Thomas, a historian whose work I relied on for research as well, though I was trying to uncover ways in which the cunning folk tradition might have persisted even for adherents of Puritanism. Can you tell me about some of the other research that you did to really root the story in historical truth?
MS: I based all the major events and details on the primary source material, Thomas Potts's The Wonderfull Discoverie of Witches in the Countie of Lancaster. Here you can see the accused witches' charms quoted by the prosecution and cited as damning evidence of satanic witchcraft. However, the charms contain not a shred of diabolical imagery. They are Catholic prayer charms. The charm to heal a person who is bewitched, attributed to Mother Demdike's family, is a moving description of the passion of Christ as witnessed by the charm contains language very similar to the White Pater Noster, an Elizabethan prayer charm discussed in Eamon Duffy's landmark work, Stripping the Altars: Traditional Religion in England: 1400-1580. So the Catholic connection is based on fact and this was one of the things that surprised me most in my research, because I hadn't even considered such a connection.
Keith Thomas's Religion and the Decline of Magic was hugely influential to my writing, but my research also draws on a course I did at Lancaster University on Late Medieval Belief and Superstition. There was much mysticism and mystery associated the pre-Reformation Catholicism and indeed the yearly round of village holidays took place under the blessing of the old Church, even festivals we associate as pagan, such as May Day, were adopted or appropriated, depending on one's viewpoint. So, pre-Reformation, one could be a mainstream Christian and still embrace a worldview that made room for positive folk magic. It was believed that certain prayers could aid healing. Mother Chattox's charm to heal a bewitched person, for example, involves saying five Pater Nosters, five Ave Marias, and the Creed, while picturing the five wounds of Christ. You could pray to a certain saint or visit a holy well, and so on. Puritanism stripped all these blessings away, yet people still faced the same harsh fears of the evil supernatural, but no longer had the "good" charms to protect them. So it's no wonder that older people like Mother Demdike, who would have remembered the old Church, clung on to these prayers and healing charms.
On the other hand, the belief in familiar spirits, which was the foundation of English folk magic, seemed to draw on a faith quite different from Christianity. It's difficult to substantiate that historical witches and cunning folk believed in anything like modern Wicca, but the lingering belief in fairies and elves in this period is well established, and I followed the theory advanced by people like Emma Wilby, author of the scholarly study Cunning Folk and Familiar Spirits, that the belief in familiar spirits was intimately connected with this lingering fairy faith, something that co-existed for centuries with Christianity. In his 1677 book, The Displaying of Supposed Witchcraft, Lancashire author John Webster talks about a local cunning man who claimed that his familiar spirit was none other than the Queen of Elfhame herself.
KH: Just a quick last question: One of the most common questions that readers ask me is whether or not writing about witches has made me more superstitious. So now I would like to ask you the same thing: has writing about witches made you see the world differently? And do you think lungwort will grow well in a New England garden, as you have now inspired me to try?
MS: Katherine, writing this book was such a magical experience for me. I identified with my heroines, Mother Demdike and Alizon, to the point where I "heard" their voices as I was writing their story-or letting them tell their own stories through me. I felt a powerful connection with the land and with these women whose spirit lives on in the land. I can't just walk down a country lane or footpath again without feeling that connection to every herb and tree and animal that crosses my path. And I find myself counting magpies.

(CCC 2627) Two fundamental forms express this movement: our prayer ascends in the Holy Spirit through Christ to the Father - we bless him for having blessed us (Cf. Eph 1:3-14; 2 Cor 1:3 7; 1 Pet 1:3-9); it implores the grace of the Holy Spirit that descends through Christ from the Father - he blesses us (Cf. 2 Cor 13:14; Rom 15:5-6, 13; Eph 6:23-24).

This week, we're going to bless warfare and in doing so, expand upon our previous blessing of the hatred and separation that's brought war about for centuries on this planet. It's uncustomary for us to war against each other, and we're a strong collective that can thrive if we work together.
We've been taught for far too long that war is necessary to obtain peace, which is a complete contradiction. As we're awakening and have been for decades, the people are seeing the necessity to end war and proclaim our sovereignty from it and the hatred and separation that drives it.
While I personally feel our astral exercises and blessings to be important, it's equally important for us to take action in the physical to proclaim our collective readiness to exit the warlike mentality that's kept us in states of mental and spiritual bondage.
It's been said that the cabals have purposely manifested various wars in an act to feed mass sacrifices of those who they perceive to be the lower class, and because they profit from war no matter which country it's in.
The cabals have gained spiritually and financially from war, as the gruesome vibrations they've been able to keep manifested has kept the collective in the aforementioned states of bondage. We're now learning to cultivate peace and awareness of the horrors of war, and in my opinion, an important part of doing so will be for us to use our ordained abilities to bless war and the hatred that's brought it about.
We've performed previous blessings of hatred and divisiveness, and again, our exercise this week is partially intended to expand upon those blessings.
To begin for this week, I'd like for you to visualize a serene desert landscape, brimming with color and vibrant spiritual energy. The trees and flowers are exuberant and overflowing with rich and intense color, and there are natural springs all around this landscape beckoning anyone who wishes to take a blissful dip forth.
There are countless people and animals existing in this landscape with us, and the energies being passed around are those of unity and harmony.
Every person, animal and plant exists in this beautiful landscape with no divisiveness or hatred experienced, and the environment reflects the harmonious vibrations emanating off of every facet of consciousness here. Create specific things about this landscape to notice and enjoy, as we have so many times in the past.
Perhaps walk/float over to one of the people or animals, and begin to have a conversation. Notice that the conversation is purely telepathic, and you can communicate intricate psychic impressions to one another that you'll both pick up on with ease.
Feel that you can have an entire week's worth of conversation with any one of these souls in what seems to be a moment, as your telepathy is instant and can communicate much larger volumes of information in much realer and more intense ways than our Earthly language can.
You can have wonderful and long conversations with every person, animal and plant in this landscape.
As you go about your chatting and enjoy the specific things about this place you've Created, notice as most of the people and animals begin gathering around what looks to be a stargate or portal. Visualize as a scene of sorts seems to display itself, while the group beckons us forth to see it.
This is similar to the scenes we've had displayed during previous exercises, and rather than venturing through the stargate or watching another soul venture through, we're going to view what forms in it: the landscape of a land eerily similar to the one we're visualizing.
The difference between the landscape we're visualizing and the one we're viewing through the stargate is that the level of hatred and resulting turmoil is turned up exponentially in the latter. The impression I'm receiving is that the area we're viewing is the 3D Earth "version" of the ascended and harmonious land we're visualizing.
The area we're viewing through the stargate experiences massive turmoil and war every day, and the citizens of this land who aren't directly a part of the war efforts have to worry about bombs going off in the night (and during the day) or other devastating warlike actions taking place.
The overwhelming majority of people in this land who don't have enough political freedom to voice their fear and concern, wish and pray for the warfare to stop and for peace to settle unto them and their land. Even many of those who participate in the warfare have to stuff their feelings down deep within, and commit atrocities that at their very core, they don't agree with.
The vibrations of the land seem temporarily devastated.
The Earth cries out for salvation from the continual warfare being fed, and we, from the harmonious realms of the landscape we're viewing, will answer Her cry and offer our blessings. Continue to view the landscape in the stargate for a moment, and if you wish, perhaps visualize peace settling onto that land before we offer our blessing.
Any good we can do with our visualization abilities might as well be done as we go about our exercises, and the great thing about our blessing this week is that we're going to perform it with every person, animal and plant who exists with us in this harmonious landscape we're viewing our war-torn land from.
As you ready yourselves to bless the scene we're being shown, notice that the large group around us is harnessing their collective energy already.
What does this energy look like? It can take any form or structure that's best relatable for each of us, and personally, I saw a blue misty type of energy that was sparkling and flowing forth from the hearts of each facet of consciousness around us.
The people, the animals and the dear plants alike have all joined together to offer this harmonious and pure blessing energy. Even the sky, the clouds and the sun are taking part in this incredible gifting of Light, and you're asked to add your personal blessings to the mix now.
Feel and affirm that the pure Creator Light of your Being come up from within and flow outwardly, in abundance. Visualize, affirm and feel your personal Light arising, and if you'd like, perhaps reconnect with your infinite reservoir of pure Christed Love energy, which we each hold within.
When connecting with that infinite and infallible source of Love energy inside of you, you can offer the purest and most brimming of blessings for the struggling landscape we're viewing and for the people inhabiting it. Affirm as you offer these blessings that no soul should have to struggle with the turmoil of war, especially those who want no part in it but can't speak up for fear of persecution.
Proclaim that every soul deserves the infinite peace of the higher dimensions, and visualize as Love and Light energy bursts out of you in purer and purer increments each time it comes through.
Visualize now as our energy and that of the collective around us is funneled through the stargate, to the scene and the people we've been witnessing. As always, this landscape and the people in it act as representations for the vibrations we give to be funneled onward to the real situations and people they're representing.
Visualize as our collective Light pours into the landscape we've been viewing, and quickly gets to work on helping soften the minds and hearts of those in the region who've fed into destructive warfare on a massive level. This is ultimately what our blessing energies are for - assisting the work being done in the realms of the unseen as much as possible.
Visualize as this energy steadily and surely permeates the minds and hearts of every soul in the landscape, and helps the people to eventually ignite a peaceful revolution built on unity, harmony and cooperation. Visualize that the landscape we're viewing eventually grows to become the place we've performed our blessings from, and that the people we gave the blessings with are the very souls who were struggling with warfare and turmoil.
We've just helped to give blessings to a landscape from its own future setting with our visualization abilities, and as always, you're encouraged to stay in this land and give your blessings to other representations in need.
Perhaps some of you have already performed blessings I've planned for us when exploring your own abilities, and you're encouraged to explore and do as much as possible in these realms.
For now, we can enjoy our successful completion of yet another exercise bent on giving our Light energies to the Earth and its collective consciousness, and we can also expand upon the blessings we've already given in this harmonious place.

Sheikh Yahya Hussein, who has had incontestably a position of his own in Tanzania and East Africa generally, has died at the age of 79. This ripe old age is a mark of blessing in his life on the basis of what Scripture says about length of life, and it is clear it was also His main activity, however, for many years was to predict events, in a camouflaged manner definitely, but more often than not, quite correctly. For instance, he talked about kidnappings of important people; the year isn't out yet but there has been the ill-fated capture of Osama bin Laden, and then of course Dominique Strauss-Kahn.
Sheikh Yahya served as a sort of prophet in our midst, but as these are secular times, he did not assume the role he could otherwise have, in days gone by. He reached the zenith of his influence during the second phase presidency, as among the key personalities behind the wave of building mosques and teaching youths to learn the Quran by heart, though he wasn't known to work with or support the groups bent on shouting: "Jesus is not God!" His position was moderate, like that of the late Mufti Hemed bin Jumaa bin Hemed, that the debate is faulty.
In the past year he chalked up some notoriety by predicting first that a person (not any person as it was apparently understood in some quarters) who would stand up to challenge the reigning president in the October 31, 2010 General Election would die.
At least one important person did not stand, whose position of influence he owed to JK, as if he had decided to campaign against him it could have put him in divine disfavour. So nothing was proved of that prediction; he also predicted that the polls could be postponed. He was wrong.
Towards his final years the Sheikh Yahya wrote extensively, especially about the Freemasonry and their links with the Sabbatic Goat, that is, the angel Lucifer. At page 30 of his coming book there is a conversation between King Solomon (a great figure in the Masonic tradition) and Lucifer.
All this contributed to a dimension of enlightenment that could only be discovered by some youth working on the Internet, or joining nefarious clubs of adepts of Satanism. With the old sheikh, it became a sort of pastime.
Still, many would be advised to stay clear of his advice on contacting djins and befriending them; the Quran warns on that, as djins are unpredictable, vengeful.

In order to Transform...Grow...and Learn we must sometimes face those things we'd much rather sweep under the proverbial rug. I also feel strongly in sharing our stories because it is within these stories we can connect, heal and know we are not alone.
As of late, my life has been in turmoil and chaos. Two things I strive to not allow entrance into my life. Life, on the other hand, will make it's presence known if there are things we choose to deny, hide or push away what we fear or are too painful to confront. It is only until we seek to heal those wounds or seek for those answers, our lives will not only remain the same but it will also remain in a state of chaos.
I prefer to live Happy! How about you?
It has been hard to go through the day without wanting to climb in bed and go back to sleep. To be fully alone. Not wanting a single person around!
It is even hard to want to meditate, perform Reiki self-healing or even finish my crystal classes (I'm SO close to finishing) all the while knowing these are the things I need the most to move forward and to stay healthy.
Eating is also a chore. All the everyday things we do become exaggerated and move in slow motion...
And it hurts...
The Heart and Spirit Hurt...
In desperate need of guidance, I looked to my Earth Magic Oracle Deck. At first I only pulled one card to work with for the day but after what the card revealed, I decided to sit and do a reading.
Here is the first card I chose before moving onto my reading:

The power is available to you, the force of Life itself, is neutral. It is neither good or bad. It just is. I feel this card invoked in me the understanding that no matter what, we only have control over ourselves. Through our own Spirituality can we change and grow.
For those who make the choice NOT to utilize the power they have within themselves, no matter how much your heart breaks. It is completely up the individual to walk their own path. And as a mother, I need to learn to allow that to unfold however it may.
I have faced this lesson time and again and although logically I know this, sometimes the heart gets in the way and makes it hard to accept that some things just are. When you love someone so much it hurts (as in your children) it is only then you realize it's time to detach with love. At least that is what they say and what I have attempted to try and do...One of my life's most difficult lessons.
BUT HOW?
We have loved our children from the moment we find out we are pregnant until our last breath and we dream of giving them a wonderful life and the tools so they, themselves can prosper and grow. What happens when your dreams and reality hit? Life!
One of the ways to harness your own power can be through ritual and mindful meditation. Getting as close to Spirit as you can in whatever way works for you. It is having Faith that the Universe and our Creator will answer our prayers.

Feeling its ancient earth presence and knowing that where ever I am, I am connected to this strength.

Truth be told, I have submerged my life in a lot of shame and guilt. Shame for some of the choices I have made that in turn caused damage to the two people I love more than anything else...My Children! Parenting through shame and guilt does not make a very pretty picture.
Guilt for allowing people and situations to dictate my life and not leaving sooner. Submerged in anger at myself for not being there emotionally at the times I was needed. This is YEARS in the making and sifting through all the layers has been a slow and painstaking process.
Submerged in deep seated anger at my ex for tearing apart my children and the naive person I was allowing it to happen all the while thinking...hoping and praying that tomorrow will get better!
Submerged in self-hate for years and years. Living with the *if only's*, wishing that I can could start over...
But I can and I did! Through the Grace of the Divine Source, I stumbled my way through the mess and out to the other side unscathed...Well, somewhat!.
Transformed and New!
In today's reading though I find that I am still submerged in those same feelings of shame and guilt. Maybe not as intense but they still linger and it is up to me only to confront, move through and heal.

The only way to the other side of any problem is not to go around it, or under it, or over it..One Must Walk Through it to get to the other side.
My feelings do not matter. It is my daughter's feelings and happiness that matter and although I am supportive of her, my own fears and thoughts get in the way. For my daughter's happiness to grow, she needs her Mom there 100%...Present and Accounted For!
In regards to my son, this is a true wake-up call for me to finally learn Detachment With Love...As hard and heart-breaking at times it will be, the only way to my own piece of mind is to find resolution within myself to Love him as much as I do but to stop enabling him and allow him to walk his own path, however painful it may be.
No matter how painful the process is for me! It's time for me to Live too!
