The term Gaia philosophy originated from the name of Greek goddess of the Earth named Gaia. It is comprised of several broad concepts of the earth and the living things that thrive in it. It is also concerned with how the Earth's inhabitants affect the natural environment of the planet. Apart from this, it also involves how the people can make the Earth as a place that is most conducive to life for all humans, animals, and plants.
Nowadays, a lot of people are learning about what Gaia Philosophy is and what it involves. This is because more and more individuals are now realizing that the damage which has been done to the natural environment as well as the consequences of these abuses against nature. As a result, a greater number of people are now implanting ways through which they can do their part in taking care of the environment and in preserving it for future generations.
Gaia philosophy operate on the basic principle that all the living things that inhabit a certain planet will each have a role on keeping the natural environment in good, inhabitable condition. Each of these effects from every organism will benefit the entire planet. A certain group of living beings' efforts which are geared towards survival will in turn enable other species to thrive well in their respective natural habitats.
There have been a number of schools of thought which came before the Gaia Philosophy or Theory. Back in the year 1970, this was referred to as the Gaia hypothesis which was purported by a chemist from the United Kingdom who was named James Lovelock. This dealt mainly on the concepts involved in the maintenance of homeostasis. It basically means that each organism no matter how small has a profound effect and a role in the regulation of an environmental system. This even includes things such as rocks and stones which can be found almost on the surface level as well as those that are found on the earth or soil. It also includes those that thrive in the atmosphere. At first, the concepts involved in the Gaia hypothesis were not easily accepted especially by those who consider themselves as experts in the scientific field.
Today, the Gaia philosophy has extended to the field of politics. This has caused the birth of people who have named themselves as Gaians. These are political environmentalists who have very radical interpretations and understanding of the said set of theories. This group of individuals are involved in activities which are geared towards the restoration of the Earth's balance. These activities include the prevention and minimization of environmentally harmful actions which lead to climate change as well as primate extermination. In addition to this are efforts that help preserve rainforests and to plant new trees in now barren forest lands. All of these efforts are geared towards the maintenance of the homeostatic balance of all creatures of the Earth and of the planet as a whole and interactive system.

Russell is NOT buried under a pyramid. The pyramid was built in the middle of the cemetery.
The pyramid was erected after his death by J.A. Bohnet a Bible Student. The monument was built in the middle of the WTS plot in the cemetery. It was to be a marker of sorts for the Bible House family (those who worked at the headquarters in Pa). The pyramid contains a cross, crown and wreath symbol, scripture quotes, an open book which has names of Bible Students who died and were buried in the cemetery
Russell and the early Bible Students thought that God had directed the building of the Great pyramid by Hebrews as a secondary way to confirm the Bible's chronology.
This was not a belief that the Bible Students made up, but was commonly taught in many mainstream Churches which they had just come out of. It took them time to discern what was true and what was myth. In the 1800s some religious scholars felt that the Great Pyramid was built by the Hebrews under God's direction. They believed that biblical texts such as Isa 19:19-20 foretold that the Pyramid contained clues to the interpretation of Biblical prophecies that would be understood in the end times.
BUT WITNESSES CORRECTED THEIR WRONG UNDERSTANDINGS WHILE OTHER RELIGIONS CONTINUE TO BELIEVE OBVIOUS MYTHS ASSOCIATED WITH THE CROSS AND HOLIDAYS. And there are still theologians and accepted members of mainstream churches who still teach Pyramidology, numerology, and mix "New Age" metaphysics with no repercussions from their respective organizations.
JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES HAVE NEVER HIDDEN THE FACT THAT THEY HAD INCORRECT BELIEFS DUE TO IGNORANCE, BUT WE REGULARLY STUDY OUR HISTORY. But, the Bible shows that God allows his servants to gradually understand (Pro. 4:18; Jn 16:12) just as the prophets and Apostles had to gradually learn and change their understandings (Dan. 12:8, 9; 1 Pet. 1:10-12; Acts 1:6, 7; 1 Cor. 13:9-12).
So, concern with past beliefs which were incorrect is a waste of time and distracts from the real issue. That is, a FAILURE to correct false doctrine or actions when presented with solid evidence would be proof that a religion or an individual is not God's organization or a Christian.
It is hypocritical and it's illogical to address past beliefs which have been changed in order to cast doubt on current teachings of any religion. What someone taught years ago has no bearing on the accuracy of what is taught now.
Rejecting current beliefs based on past misunderstanding is just plain unintelligent.

Many People today and throughout history have been on a quest for spiritual or religious enlightenment/ascension. The meaning behind this process has so many variations for different people.
Do you relate to ascension as being the shift of consciousness to another level; finding the true relationship with oneself; or the reuniting with the "source of all"?
Are their stages of evolution that we must go through prior to reaching higher levels of consciousness? Does enlightenment come with the ascension into higher "realms"? Is ascension a process of "grades" to go through or simply a moment in which we claim "I'm ready, the time is now."?
What are your opinions on Christopher's Penczak's theories of Ascension (from his book Ascension Magick) such as:
- Literal Ascension: The literal shift of our bodies and souls from this physical plane of existence (3D) to another plane of reality?

In parapsychology, spirituality and New Age belief, an aura is a subtle field of luminous multicolored radiation surrounding a person or object as a cocoon or halo. An aura may be held to represent or be composed of soul vibrations or chakras, and may reflect the moods or thoughts of the person it surrounds.
It is believed that auras may be viewed by the naked eye, though some psychics, like Edgar Cayce, believe this ability weakens with age. Focused training may be undergone in an attempt to improve one's ability to see auras. Layers of aura are seen as separate and distinct, yet connected to all of the remaining layers. Auras are also thought of as special kind of shields which certainly have more defensive power. It is very likely that the detection of odic force is a similar phenomenon.

On Friday's night show with Bruce Collins we spent some time talking about the occult world and it's role in these last days.
At one point, I mentioned the New Agers and how even though we don't believe in any of the things the New Age movement promotes (because we know it to be a perversion of all things from God, with its source being ultimately Satan), that still shouldn't mean that we ignore them outright because what they believe does matter to us.
It matters to us in the sense that they will do everything they can - whenever they can - to attempt to advance their Luciferian agenda in this world. Sooner or later, the Lord is going to allow them to be successful in their efforts since it will be done according to His perfect timing, and to accomplish His perfect purpose and will for the world. For instance, under the auspices of the United Nations (UN), the New Agers promote things like a one-world government, a one-world economy, and a one-world religion. Hmmm, does that sound like anything that might be important to us students of Bible prophecy?
Of course, these days they are becoming much more overt and up-front about their intentions and their plans for seeing those plans come to fruition. Thus, it's essential that we at least have a casual knowledge about them and their agenda in order to fulfill the whole "Be wise as serpents, harmless as doves" mantra found in Matthew 10:16. Let's not forget HOSEA 4:6 here either!

According to those who practice channeling, it is the contemporary term for spiritism. Channeling has been present since ancient times when people sought advice from the spirit world - like the oracles in Roman and Greek times who sought advice from the fates. There are accounts in the Bible of ancient people seeking out mediums and wizards who would whisper and mutter (Isaiah 8:19). Some say that the modern renaissance of spiritism can be attributed to Emmanuel Swedenborg, who lived from 1688-1722 and had a large following. Kate and Margaret Fox started an American spiritualist movement in 1848. The sisters received messages from the recently deceased as the spirits tapped their tabletop, rapping out a message using the alphabet. Channeling has become a popular activity in this present age. The Hollywood culture has helped the spread of its popularity. Many religious cults make use of channeling, including shamanism, voodoo, and other New Age groups.
Channeling - Practices and beliefs
The practices and beliefs for channeling are varied. Tools used in channeling are tarot cards, Ouija boards, and trance media. The medium reads tarot cards and remains conscious while seeking a spirit to channel information through the cards. When the medium uses a trance media, the medium is not aware of his/her surrounding and must be told later what the spirit had spoken through them.
The basis of the channeling practices and beliefs, and the messages given by spirits through those channels is that there is not a one omnipotent God; creator of heaven and earth. The belief system of channeling explains that there are multiple layers of consciousness and many spirit beings in various stages of evolution or development.
Channeling - Christian response
What does God have to say about channeling practices? The Bible says that in the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1). This means that God was outside of time and space to be able to create time and space and everything in the universe - visible and invisible. He is separate from His creation. It is true that God is present everywhere, but everything is not God.
In the Ten Commandments, God says, "You shall have no other gods before me" (Exodus 20:3). This statement implies there are other spirits out there acting as gods. These are spirits that God created who later sinned and turned against Him. People seeking mediums to hear the spirits speak, and channelers allowing the spirits to speak through them are in essence elevating those spirits as though they were God; thereby, breaking the first commandment.
Since the future hasn't happened yet, there is no power here on earth that can tell us what's in store. In order to have a hope for the future and gain the wisdom to make sound decisions now, we must tap into the power of the Creator of the universe - the only One who knows our future - God.
