Holy Apostle Onesimus As A Model For Our Lives

Holy Apostle Onesimus As A Model For Our Lives
St. Onesimus the Apostle (Feast Day - February 15)

By Protopresbyter Fr. George Papavarnavas

The Apostle Onesimus was originally a servant of the Apostle Philemon, who was a man of love and treated his servants with kindness. It turned out, however, that he was a useless servant, because he abused the kindness of his master, stealing from him and fleeing secretly to Colossae. In Rome, where he fled, he was catechized by the Apostle Paul in the "faith of Christ", he was baptized and he became "wonderful in virtue". From a useless servant he became an Apostle of Jesus Christ, and he became truly useful and truly free.

The Apostle Paul, who was imprisoned in Rome "for the sake of the Gospel", wanted to keep Onesimus near him in order to serve him, but he did not want to do this without the consent of the Apostle Philemon, so he sent Onesimus to give the letter. This is the Epistle to Philemon by the Apostle Paul, contained in the New Testament, which is a wonderful text worth studying daily. This letter informs Philemon of the spiritual rebirth of his servant and begs him to no longer receive him as a servant, but as a beloved brother. He continues: "If, therefore, you consider me a friend, receive him as you would receive me. And if he did you any wrong or if he owes you anything, charge it to me."

After the martyric end of the Apostle Paul, the Apostle Onesimus was arrested and he also "for the sake of the Gospel" suffered horrific torture. Finally, they shattered his legs and in this manner he left this temporal life and transferred to eternity.

The life and deeds of the Apostle Onesimus gives us the opportunity to highlight the following:

First, the passions enslave man and make him useless. He can conquer them and be rid of their tyranny with sincere repentance, which is the foundation of the spiritual life and, according to Saint John of Sinai, it "is the renewal of baptism and an agreement with God for a new life", together with the entire experience offered by the Church. It should be noted that with the passage of time the powers of man begin to gradually leave him and then the passions, if not conquered by then, dominate his will with the result that he is vilified and humiliated. Indeed, sometimes one happens to fall so low to the point that they are a sad sight and they invite pain and sadness or even scandal, if this person, due to his position, should have been a role model in society.

Freedom is primarily an inner state that a person experiences regardless of exterior conditions. In prison the Apostle Paul was truly free, while Onesimus after his escape, though he had money and exterior freedom, in reality he was a slave, because he lived under the burden of guilt which sin creates, and it was thus impossible to have inner peace and true joy.

When a person is not purified of the passions or at least not struggling to be purified of them, then it is impossible to be free and truly be glad in life because, among other things, there is a chance they could undergo any kind of blackmail. And, of course, when under pressure and found in a climate of blackmail and intimidation, then it is impossible to truly act free. They become unfortunate, a pawn of all who took advantage of their passions and wrongs and they are "in their hands", as it is commonly phrased, in the blackmail. On the outside they may seem free and comfortable, but in reality they are a prisoner and slave.

Second, sickly phenomena and ill situations, such as theft, abuse, interlaces, etc., are encountered in every age, and even ours, of course, cannot be the exception, since we live in a fallen society. In reality, the healthy members of society are the Saints, as well as all those who struggle to achieve their own sanctification. The Saints with their spiritual struggles conquered their passions, arrived at their illumination and theosis and experienced the pre-fallen state. They acquired perfect love, which is the treatment for selfishness, the operative cause of avarice, sensuality, vanity and all the other passions.

Because nowadays we hear and read about many things, it must be stressed that the Church is not a club of "purified" people, but it is the Divine-Human body of Christ. Christ Himself is the head and the members are all those, clergy and laity, who received baptism and struggled, in one way or another, to live according to the will of God. Also, that the Church, as His Eminence our Metropolitan Hierotheos stresses, is a spiritual hospital, and therefore it is natural for it to have sick members that it tries to heal, without ever violating their freedom. Moreover, with their weakness, passions and wrongs each person bears personal responsibility and are accountable before God and men.

The Church does not need purification, because it is pure, holy and immaculate. We need purification and spiritual rebirth.

Let us pray that God shows us true spiritual fathers even in our days, who can help people be reborn, so as to acquire perfect love, and from useless servants to become useful and free.

Stuff Sometimes Youre Too Honest About Your Feelings

Stuff Sometimes Youre Too Honest About Your Feelings
When I was young, I had these cheapo set of magic linking rings I purchased at Foodini's, a short-lived concept theme-restaurant that was given it's test run at a local mall before vanishing off the face of the Earth. I was never very good with them. The problem wasn't a lack of manual dexterity, but rather that I respected the skepticism of any potential audience enough that I only wanted to perform tricks that could be thoroughly scrutinized later. If the audience couldn't, after I'd finished, manipulate the rings themselves, then I would have felt their own sense of being conned too acutely and the trick would have felt shabby, even if it was expertly executed.

There was one ring trick I was really good at though. It involved taking three identical and unbroken rings linked in a linear series, like a chain, and moving the bottom ring up a link, so that the chain now resembled something like a key ring: the top ring now had two unconnected rings hanging off it. The magical transformation was removing the bottom link from the middle chain and linking it to the top. The change took less than a second and the results could always be safely handed to audience members.

My explanation might have already given away the game, but in case it isn't clear, the key to the trick was simply a matter of forcing a certain perspective on the audience. Remember that all the rings are identical. There was no linking or unlinking going on. I showed the rings in a chain, holding on to the Ring 1, with Ring 2 under it and Ring 3 at the bottom. Then I gathered them all into one hand, waved my free hand in front of them, and slightly shifted my grip so that I was holding on to Ring 2 and not Ring 1. When I released the rings, Ring 2 was the top link and Ring 1 and Ring 3 dangled from it. However, because I explained what I was going to do, people simply assumed the top ring was still Ring 1 and I'd somehow moved Ring 3. I could hand the rings to the audience and let them test it because their test was always the same: They wasted all their time looking for breaks or trying to somehow force what they though was Ring 3 to uncouple.

Instead of making me a cynic (that took a magic trick named "dating Stephanie," which I attempted years later and, thankfully, never mastered), I found the fact the whole trick revolved around a bluff and the contagious nature of misinformation far more interesting than the idea of magic itself. That instant conspiracy of suggestion and unjustified confidence in the very senses that deceived us in the first place was, itself, magical in a way.

I bring this up because, over at the online front of "Skeptic" magazine, they are featuring a spiffy

A Spell To Attract Money

A Spell To Attract Money
* During the waxing moon phase, prepare a circle of six green prosperity candles on a tray made of brass or any shiny metal. Use small, broad-based candles so that the wax can flow on to the tray.

* Heap nine coins in the circle.

* Light the candles, starting in the North, saying:

"Light of increase, shower on me money and security. Bring, I ask, prosperity."

* Leaving the coins in the centre, push the candles so that they are almost touching and the wax flows on to the coins. Allow the candles to burn down.

* When the wax has hardened, cut a disc containing the coins and sprinkle dried basil on the wax for added prosperity.

* Leave your coin amulet where it can catch any light, day and night, from the waxing to the full moon and when the Moon begins to wane, keep it wrapped in silk in a drawer. If necessary, repeat the spell when the crescent moon is in the sky, turning it over three time on the crescent

Incantesimo Damore

Incantesimo Damore Per Far Si Che La Persona Amata Pensi A Voi

Dopo queste piccole premesse, vediamo come procedere.

LUNAZIONE: LUNA CRESCENTE

GIORNO: VENERD`i ( OBBLIGATORIO)

DIANA, DEA DELL'AMORE,

TI CHIEDO DI ASCOLTARMI.

PER FAVORE PORTA ( NOME DELL'AMATO)

CONDUCI VERSO DI ME L'AMORE.

COS`i SIA.

Adesso potete accendere la candela e recitate questa formula:

DEVI PENSARMI GIORNO E NOTTE, (NOME)

Baciate la candela mentre `e accesa. Dovete pensare intensamente, per almeno 30 secondi, voi insieme all'amato in atteggiamenti intimi.

Judge J W Edmonds Famous Mediums

Judge J W Edmonds Famous Mediums Part 4
"Surely God would not have created a being as man...

to exist only for a day!

No, no, man was made for immortality."

~Abraham Lincoln

Famous Mediums, Part 4

Judge John Worth Edmonds (1816-1874), a well-known lawyer, New York State Senator, Judge of the New York Supreme Court Judge and Court of Appeals, was a Spiritualist and a medium. His daughter, Laura, also had the gift of mediumship and spirit contact.

Apparently Judge Edmonds stood firm in his Spiritualist beliefs and research he did into the credibility of several other mediums, even while being attacked often in the press and in political and social circles for his beliefs. The chief communicators were alleged to be Emanuel Swedenborg and Francis Bacon. Judge Edmonds wrote the following: Letters and Tracts on Spiritualism; Spiritualism, Volume I (1853); Spiritualism, Volume II (1855); and Uncertainty of Spiritual Intercourse (1856).

Those of you who have read my blog for awhile and know of my
Abraham Lincoln was regarded as a spiritualist by many and was said to have held s'eances in the White House and "frequently attended s'eances at the residence of the Lauries in Washington. The daughter was a medium." In his 1903 book, What is Spiritualism?, Dr. James Martin Peebles, M.D., recounts some of that history. "It was in this same family that Miss Nettie Colburn was entranced by spirits purporting to be Jefferson, and the fathers of our country, and who plead of President Lincoln to free those four million slaves in bondage. (See Mrs. Nettie Colburn-Maynard's work, entitled 'Abraham Lincoln, a Spiritualist.') Lincoln's emancipation message was an inspiration from the spirit world. Judge Edmonds, delivering an oration in Hope Chapel, N.Y., upon the life of Lincoln, gave the proofs of this. It is undeniable."

Though Dr. Peebles did not give us details of any of those proofs, he did give some background on Judge J. W. Edmonds. He served as an attorney in the law office of ex-President Martin Van Buren, became a New York State Senator in 1831, was appointed a Circuit Judge in 1845, was elected Judge of the (New York) Supreme Court and later, in 1851, took his seat upon the bench of the Court of Appeals. Peebles explained that Edmonds considered himself an agnostic until his wife's death in 1850 when he began experiencing her presence and on-going contact from the Other Side, until by 1851, he "became quite fully developed himself as a medium for visions, allegorical pictures, and direct communications from the spirit world written through his own hand. His daughter Laura also became a writing medium, and a trance medium with the gift of tongues. The Judge now openly avowed his Spiritualism, lectured upon it in public, wrote articles in the American and foreign press."

Peebles quotes the Judge as saying, "Spiritualism has deepened my faith in God, and the spiritual life and teachings of Christ. It has also inspired me with the most kindly Christian feelings toward all conscientious religionists of whatever name or party."

Continuing further, Dr. Peebles explains, "The pride, as he was of the New York bar for years, a jurist of unimpeachable integrity and keen discernment, as well as an authority on international law, Judge Edmonds was not only a Spiritualist, but a spiritual medium with fine clairvoyant gifts."

Judge Edmunds wrote of his daughter Laura's mediumship and xenoglossy. On occasion, while in trance and contact with a spirit, she would bring messages forth in other languages, Greek, Spanish, and American Indian: Chippewa and Menomonie tongues.

House Blessing Spells And Talismans

House Blessing Spells And Talismans

HOUSE BLESSING

Assemble:

Salt and Water

Incense for fire and air

Milk and Honey

Oil for anointing

Wine for the offering, can be white wine or a cider

Bells, Pots, Pans, Whistles, etc.

Cast a circle in the main room - living room and after casting, visualize the circle expanding to include the entire house. Call upon the spirits and energies living in the house or apartment. Invite those who will be harmonious with the new household and its energies to remain. Invite - ask those who will be happier elsewhere to depart.

Release all "energies" not compatible with the new household. This may be expressed as a "release" in order to unbind anything that may be stuck. Then call upon, greet, and invite ancestors, patron deities, and all harmonious spirits and energies to dwell in the house as they please.

Gather up the pots, pans, and all the noise-makers. Go to each door and window, not forgetting the fire-place and dog-door, making as much racket as humanly possible-to shoo out anything unwanted. This can be fun, and also raises lots of energy for the next important step. Go again throughout the house and at each portal such as doors, windows, etc. sprinkle salt - water and cense, saying:

"By the Elements I purify and charge this portal."

Then anoint the portal with milk and honey, saying:

"By Milk and Honey I ensure prosperity and peace within this place."

Finally, anoint the portal with oil, saying:

"With Oil I seal this portal and protect all within."

At the front door a special prayer is said, asking the guardian deities of God and Goddess to freely grant entry to all friends and loved ones, and to prevent passage to any who would do harm." Then, if it's a house, pour wine across the width of the threshold; if it's an apartment anoint the threshold with light touches of wine.

The house holders then each take a sip of wine, leaving some as an offering to the Gods, and the Circle should be closed. The remaining wine, milk, and honey should be offered to the Gods outdoors.

This is very effective if done as part of a house warming party, followed by much feasting. It has also been done very effectively by two people. It only takes about 30 minutes to do a large house. You can take the time.

Do make certain to "ground" afterward, by closing the circle and by eating. This ritual can "stir" up everybody and make the house feel full of "buzzy" energy. Author Unknown

Touch the lintel and touch the wall,

Nothing but blessings here befall!

Bless the candle that stands by itself,

Bless the book on the mantle shelf,

Bless the pillow for the tired head,

Bless the hearth and the light shed.

Friends who tarry here, let them know

A three fold blessing before they go.

Sleep for weariness - peace for sorrow

Faith in yesterday and tomorrow.

Friends who go from here, let them bear

The blessing of hope, wherever they fare.

Lintel and windows, sill and wall,

Nothing but good, this place befall.

HOW CAN I PERFORM A HOUSE BLESSING AND WHAT METHOD SHOULD I USE?

There are many ways to perform a house blessing. It's important to use the method you feel most comfortable with that you are either drawn to, or coincides with your spiritual beliefs. You can combine elements of different house blessings into your own method.

WHY DO PEOPLE PERFORM HOUSE BLESSINGS?

House blessings have been performed for centuries and span various religious and spiritual beliefs. A house blessing can be done to increase the flow of good energy and bless, or to protect against a haunting or unrested spirits that may reside there.

HOLY WATER

Some people revere holy water as a very powerful tool in house blessings. You can scatter holy water about and say some prayers of protection or cleansing, as in a traditional house blessing or exorcism.

SEA SALT

Some use sea salt scattered around rooms and or a structure's foundation to ward off active spirits. Sea salt cleanses and protects, creating a shield that the spirits cannot communicate through.

INCENSE - SMUDGE STICKS

Others use incense and or smudge sticks, in conjunction with a ceremony and/or incantation to protect and bless their homes.

HERBS

There are herbs that have been used throughout history as a representation of protection. This belief throughout the centuries contributes power to it's self and use. They can be used in ceremonies and scattered about, burned or kept in a pouch.

FENG SHUI

Many people observe the guidelines of Feng Shui to assist them in creating an interior that is inclusive of a healthy flow of energy. Colors, images and placement of decor and furniture is all a part of Feng Shui.

TALISMANS

Some people still choose to wear and utilize talismans as a means of protection, as many of our ancestors did throughout history. These can be in many forms; charms, pouches, stones, crystals and symbols. These can be of any faith as talismans of the past and through to the present all represent different beliefs and deities. From a crucifix to rosary beads, a pentacle or rune.

ICONS AND STATUES

Statues and icons representing various deities are very powerful and have also been used throughout history to present day. These could vary from a statue of the Blessed Mother to angels, Buddha or Isis.

PROTECTION OF THE PAST: SUPERSTITION AND FOLKLORE

There are many folktales and beliefs through history that include warding off evil spirits and energies. Minds and souls of the past put much faith in a jar of sand on their windowsill and doorstep. They believed any ill spirits that wandered there would be trapped in counting the grains of sand and never enter. Glass "spirit globes" of spun glass were hung in windows to enchant any dark spirits passing by and keep them from entering. Talismans and protection pouches were also quite common and popular.

EMPOWERING A TALISMAN OR HOUSE BLESSING

Whether creating a talisman, pouch or performing a house blessing, the energy of your mind and soul that you place into it is very important. Keep your focus of protection and security in mind as you perform or create your protection blessing/talisman.

EMPOWERING YOUR HOUSE BLESSING WITH WORDS

The words used in a prayer, incantation or ceremony are very powerful when created from your own mind and soul. If you feel unable to use your own, then a pre-written blessing would be best. It's most important to have a strong faith in the power of whatever words you use, whether it's written by yourself or another.

Good luck with blessing your home and performing your own protection ceremony. There is no other house warming gift that gives more peace and serenity. by Rachel Cadran

TO PROTECT AND BRING PEACE AND HARMONY TO YOUR HOME:

Take equal parts of Betony and Lavender or what ever you prefer, blend them together in a mortar. After mixing well, charge the herbal mixture. Using a small amount, sprinkle across the doorstep. All the while, you should be concentrating on the vivid barrier and repeat the following incantation:

"This doorstep with its welcome ways,

be guarded by a shield of rays.

to guard this home by day and night,

protect it with this door of white.

Let nothing enter not of good,

and those within do as they would.

The aura left by herb and spell,

will safely seal this entrance well."

TO BANISH NEGATIVE FORMS FROM YOUR HOME

Begin with a purification bath. Light the twin candles on the altar and burn a protective and/or cleansing incense. Fill your chalice with fresh water and be sure to consecrate it and blessed salt. Kneel or assume the Goddess position as you say:

"Naked come I into this sanctuary

With love and faith

From those who have gone before.

Innocent am I in understanding

Holy and pure in my love of all good and blessed things.

Supreme Goddess, ruler of light,

Lord of all

Hear my prayer,

Help me now to dispel this thing of unholiness

This creature of darkness,

Who dooms itself to shame and unhappiness.

Save him if it is thy will to do so.

Send him to the light.

Mercy is the song I sing;

Forgiveness the word most precious.

In thy everlasting grace I say this.

In humility I ask this.

So mote it be."

Take up the chalice of salt-water, face the east wall, dip your fingers into the water, raise your hand and say:

"Powers of the East

Powers of the daystar rising

And all fresh beginnings

I purify you with salt and with water

For good vibrations of friendship warmth and love."

Then sprinkle some extra water and proceed to the south. Say:

"Powers of the South

Powers of the summer sun

Which warms our bodies and our minds

I purify you with salt and with water

For good vibrations of friendship, warmth and love."

Repeat in the west:

"Powers of the West

Powers of the purifying and cleansing waters

From which all life comes.

I purify you with salt and with water

For good vibrations of friendship, warmth and love."

Repeat in the north:

"Powers of the North

Powers of the earth, the ground

On which we stand.

I purify you with salt and with water

For good vibrations of friendship, warmth and love."

Then proceed around the room sprinkling water over all the thresholds, windows, and doorways and in all corners.

"REPEAT IN EVERY ROOM"

Add more incense to the burner, take up, and do the same thing, using the same verses substituting "fire and air" in place of "salt and water." As before, proceed around the room censing all the thresholds, windows, doorways, and in all corners.

"REPEAT IN EVERY ROOM"

Take the fire candle or a candle for this purpose and your athame and, starting at the door or entrance, walk slowly CLOCKWISE through the house, through each room pausing at each door, window, and mirror and moving the candle across it, also pentagramming each window, doorway, and mirror with the athame. Proceed room by room spiraling clockwise. All the while chant the following:

"By the One Power

I hereby consecrate this space

To the Goddess and the God,

According to free will

And for the good of all;

I hereby release,

In all time and all space,

Any negative cause, effect, manifestation, form or essence,

Any negative event, thought, energy, idea or vibration,

And transform it to

And replace it with

Only positive, joyous good

In keeping with the Universal harmonies

Of the Goddess and the God.

This space is divinely protected

This space is perfectly safe.

Nothing and no one can enter this space

Unless I (or my loved ones) allow them to.

This space is sacred

Consecrated and dedicated to positive living

For myself and my loved ones

And for the work of positive magic.

No harm can come to this space, or anyone in it."

As you draw each pentagram say:

"Only good can enter here

No negatives can enter

All harm is sealed out."

When you are back at the entry point conclude:

"Love lives here

Health lives here

Abundance lives here

(Name self and loved ones) live here

We claim this space for ourselves, for the mutual good

And so mote it be!"

PEACEFUL HOME

This spell is very good if there is a lot of turmoil or stress in the household. Do the following spell, and while doing so, remember to focus on your intent for a peaceful household. Sew a small pouch of lavender cloth. Place a small trinket in the pouchfor each member of your household. Add to this a pinch each of lavender, rose and chamomile, before placing each pinch in the pouch, remember to hold it for a moment and REALLY focus, finally, add a small amethyst. Now, anoint a lavender or pink candle with peace oil and then light it. Sit in front of thecandle and hold the pouch in your hands and whisper the following chant over it softly 3 times:

Blessed Goddess, most gentle one,

calm my home for me.

Relieve all tension, send it far,

so from stress we shall be free.

Touch my family with peace and calm,

and the sweetest softest bliss,

bless my home, Great Gentle Goddess,

with your calming kiss.

Set the pouch with the candle. Allow the candle to burn down completely. Hang the pouch in your home, preferably in the room where everyone gathers the most. Whenever tension seems to build, repeat the above chant 3 times and envision peace and tranquility radiating from the pouch and The Goddess. ~source unknown

MOON WATER RITUAL FOR A PEACEFUL HOME

Fill a glass bowl or jar with clean water. Place either a QUARTZ CRYSTAL, MOONSTONE, or both in the water. Add three drops each of ROSE and LAVENDER OIL, and set the water outside overnight in a place where the light of the Moon can shine upon it.

Say this blessing upon the water:

Moonlight,

bless this water,

clean and pure.

May it bring peace

and simple joy

to my home.

On the following morning, pour the water into a spray bottle or covered jar, allowing the stones to remain in the water if possible. Use the elixir to mist each room of your home, and visualize peace and harmony. You can add the rest of the water mixture to your bath water,or use it to anoint objects.

Hallow B

Hallow B
HALLOW-B.TXT - M/?, NC-Plant - November 02, 2000

By SwampRat
(cl) 2000 Gay Furry Association

Another Kurtz-inspired story ( I was sending him an e-mail and the Muse chimed in, so I have to give him credit for inspiring the tale ). There are 2 endings that I came up with, so I made 2 stories, hence the 'b' on this one.

John was late back from studies.. And the 'short-cut' through the woods had proved worse than he thought. Now the moon was up, and as he wandered through the grass and gourd fields all he wanted was a warm fire and something to eat.
Stopping for a rest he heard a commotion coming from over a hill. Curiosity overcame sense and leaving his small pack on the ground, the lad grunted and grabbed at whatever he could to climb up.. Until he got a glimpse of what was making the noises. John dropped to the ground, and crawled the last few yards to the top of the hill. Parting the grass he stared down in the clearing, completely unable to comprehend what was going on below...

Wolves the size of ponies were standing - some on 2 feet, some on 4.. All were moaning as tongues slid across throbbing canine-meat, thrust stiff dog-cocks under lifted tails into eager partners. Semen coated many a muzzle and rump, and still they showed no signs of slowing down. Another sound made him turn his head.. In another moon-light piece of ground, women with dark fur and cat heads stirred some kind of brew in a big pot, sipping the potion, while others caressing straw-brooms intimately. His young eyes boggled at watching a well- breasted 'lady' lick and lewdly caress the wood handle that jutted between her breasts before moving it downward, back up. Lower again, Teasing herself with the end, moaning as it slipped between her furry thighs. Others did the same, all making animal sounds as wooden handles teased then slipped inside them.

John found it hard to breathe.. Despite their appearance, the closest the lad had come to seeing a naked female was the village cows, and here were a handful showing all they were born with - And then some! He expected to see other creatures - Vampires, Goblins, Satyrs.. But except for some scarecrows with Jack's Lantern heads that stood around like there was nothing to do, the Witches and werewolves were all. And the former were ordinary enough some of the fear left him.. Some. Until something rustled around him.

"Boyhhhhhh.." He was immediately cold, hearing a whisper that could have been dry leaves rustling. Not moving, not Daring to move he gripped the ground tightly, eyes clenched. And nothing else happened. No howls of lust for his flesh, no yowls from the cat-fems who from the sound of it were much too busy with their broom-lovers to be bothered anyway.. Daring to look over his shoulder, he gasped - A wisp floated over him. It was unlike any creature he had ever seen, but he Knew a Haunt when he had one touching him.

It took all of John's will not to scream as something caressed his buttocks.
Tendrils invaded his trowsers, his shirt, tugging at them, and despite his best efforts - that is the best he could do without gaining the attention of the revelers below - they peeled him like a pale shrimp. Leaves bigger than his father's hand slapped his pale cheeks, caressing them as tendrils continued their incessant strokes on his dick. The youth shuddered moaning.. It was only a few months until he would take place in the Harvest Dance when he would have to pick a Wife and the caresses started a burning, yearning lust in his groin..

John gritted his teeth, feeling thicker vines wrap around his nuts, his dick, making his hips move of their own accord. He gripped the grass, watching the debauchery, smelling the musk wafting up on the breeze as his maleness got squeezed, stroked, tugged on.. Again, the leaves slapped his naked rear, tough fronds that moves as hands would over the smooth skin. Little tendrils worked along his tip, making the burning pleasure run up his spine and Exploding through his head, creating a secondary one lower down. Creamy, hot man-cum poured out onto the ground in hard spurts, aided by smooth green stems that worked his nuts over, squeezed and twisted around his dick until the lad passed out, still pumping semen.

* * * *

Morning came with an aching crotch, a pounding head and a cool breeze on naked skin. The vines that had tortured him so were still around, now a bed covering the hard ground. Getting up he moved slowly, still a little dizzy. Found his clothes and a nearby stream to wash up in. Then he followed the vines to a patch of strangely shaped gourds. Finding one that was dry enough to rattle, he picked it carefully and continued on homeward. Maybe he wouldn't Pick a bride, but finish his schooling and move to someplace more secluded.. Where Wold Vines could grow and multiply.

The End.. ?

Over the next few weeks I will be hosting several posts showcasing spectacular Indie Two months after dying, Graylee Perez wakes up in her twin sister Charlene's body. As a witch, can anyone blame her mother for attempting to bring her daughter back to life? Now Gray is stuck sharing her sister's body in twenty-four-hour shifts.

Raj McKenna is rumored to meddle in the black arts, not to mention he's after Gray's invisibility spell, and worse-her heart. But Raj might be the only one powerful enough to save Gray from fading away forever.

The race is on for Gray to find a way back inside her own body before Charlene purges her from existence.

And for you pleasure, here is the first chapter of Entangled:

If Graylee's sister wanted to be taken seriously, she should have threatened to step in front of a bus rather than off a building. She was a witch. Heights weren't particularly a problem.

"I'm going to do it, Lee. I mean it."

Graylee joined Charlene on the roof of McKinley High and peered over the edge at the damp walkway below. It led into the student parking lot. Everyone was in fifth period... everyone except for the identical twins standing over the heads of their oblivious classmates and teachers.

A suicide threat, seriously? This is why Gray was missing English?

They were supposed to be discussing Yeats that afternoon and Gray didn't appreciate having Charlene's minion stop her on the way to class with a message that her sister planned on plunging to her death before the day was out.

That would teach Blake Foster-or so Charlene thought. The jerk had dumped her sister after first period and, worse, had been seen sucking face with Stacey Morehouse at lunch.

Graylee started shivering the moment she'd stepped onto the roof. It was friggin' February for crying out loud and she was wearing shorts. Granted, she had thick black tights on underneath, but still-brrr! Couldn't Charlene have scheduled her dramatic death scene in the warmth of their home over a bottle of pills?

"What about me? You expect me to watch?" Graylee said. "Sure, that won't haunt me the rest of my days."

Charlene's face contorted. "You're so freaking selfish!"

"Me? What about you? Do you know what this would do to Mom? And what about me? How am I going to get through the rest of the semester when I'm all sad and stuff?"

Charlene snorted. "Like you'd care." She had to be cold in her skinny jeans, but at least she was wearing a sweater.

The cold seeped down to Graylee's bones. The tips of her fingers felt as though they'd been dipped in ice water. She tried to conjure up warmth, but her body didn't respond.

"Of course I care. You're my sister." Graylee nodded at the building's edge. "It's not like the fall would kill you, anyway."

"It wouldn't?"

"Nah. We're not high enough. It'd just cripple you." Graylee bent her neck in, hunched over and held her arms close to her body, and then proceeded to walk around like a gimp. "Hey, Char, here's you walking down the halls of McKinley."

Charlene's lips tightened.

Graylee shuffled around. It helped warm her up. Charlene was fighting back a smile. "Don't you dare make me laugh!"

"Hey, Char. Here you are at prom." Graylee moved like a T. rex, flopping her hands back and forth against her chest.

Finally Charlene couldn't hold it back any longer. Her body shook. It was a good thing she was laughing because Graylee couldn't contain her mirth any longer. Then Charlene's laughter turned to tears.

Graylee rushed over, reached out, then stopped herself. Charlene wasn't the huggy type, not even when her heartthrob dumped her out of the blue.

"I'm not going to prom," Charlene sobbed. "Not anymore."

Graylee patted Charlene's back. "There's always next year. Anyway, there's plenty of time to find another date. Heck, it's only February second."

Charlene ceased crying abruptly. "I don't want another date! I want Blake!"

"What's so special about that numbnut, anyway?"

"Lee, he's the love of my life." Charlene's voice broke.

"I think we ought to turn him into a toad."

Charlene pulled back. "Oh, no, don't do anything to Blake."

No, good ol' Blake was beyond reproach in Charlene's book. They'd gone to Homecoming together and been inseparable ever since... well, till today. Not that Graylee would do anything bad to him anyway. Both she and Charlene had taken the Vow of Honor at age twelve, and that meant absolutely no black magic.

Graylee lifted her hands in surrender. "Fine, I won't make a Blake Foster voodoo doll when I get home."

Charlene's eyes widened.

"But don't blame me if his car gets keyed."

"Lee, don't touch Blake's truck, either."

"Why not?"

"When we get back together I don't want to see a scratch on Blake or his truck."

"Oh, so now you're getting back together?"

"Blake just needs to realize the error of his ways." Charlene flipped a long strand of blond hair over her shoulder and smiled right before turning away.

"Char..." Graylee said in a warning voice.

Wonder of all wonders, Charlene ignored her. She took one gigantic step off the building.

Graylee hurried to the edge in time to see her sister float gently to the walkway below.

"Brat," Graylee muttered under her breath. Charlene knew she was buoyantly challenged. Not to mention they were at school, for freak's sake. What if someone was watching them from a parked car?

And way to leave her high and dry-or rather high and chilled to the bone.

Graylee stormed to the door leading back inside McKinley.

Ryan was on the other side. His pear-shaped head craned around her, the corners of his mouth curving down like a weepy clown's when he didn't see Charlene. "Oh my god, she jumped."

Graylee rolled her eyes. "No, she floated."

Ryan took in a gasping breath. "Thank god."

Graylee pushed ahead of Ryan and hurried down the stairwell. She paused in front of the door leading into the second floor hallway. Ryan caught up to her and looked at her with big round eyes.

"Now what?" Graylee asked herself. "If I walk into English late Mrs. Pritchett is going to skin me alive. If I'm absent without an excuse..." Graylee tapped her toe then looked down at Ryan. "Well? What are you waiting for?"

Ryan looked at the door and cleared his throat. "I don't know. What are you going to do?"

Graylee stopped tapping her foot and smiled suddenly. "I know what I'm going to do."

She squeezed her eyes closed and disappeared before Ryan's eyes. The last thing Graylee heard before she pushed the door open into the school was Ryan sucking air.

He would be surprised. Invisibility was advanced magic. Graylee doubted that even the peer leaders at Gathering could disappear from sight.

Graylee's clogs clomped across the deserted hallway. Lucky for her Mrs. Pritchett hadn't closed the door to her classroom yet.

Graylee slipped in and skirted the row of desks nearest the wall. She sidestepped backpacks and heavy text The use of magic in the presence of normal humans was forbidden by their coven-except in case of emergencies. She highly doubted that getting out of a tardy counted, but Charlene started it, and Graylee had obeyed till now. If anything, she eschewed magic in public. She simply wanted to be a normal high school student. And forget ever dating a magically inclined member of the male species. She wasn't passing on her wonky witch genes to her children. Not that dating a warlock automatically led to children, but one could never be too careful.

Graylee surveyed the back row. This would be her best bet. Sneaking into English as Invisa-girl was easy. Reappearing without anyone noticing-not so much.

Graylee set her pack onto the floor and slipped sideways into the desk. She looked side to side.

"Turn to page fifty-two. Brian, read the first verse of 'Leda and the Swan,'" Mrs. Pritchett commanded.

Good, everyone was looking down. Graylee pinched her eyes closed and filled herself in like a line drawing in a coloring book, except at warp speed. It wouldn't do to appear with half a body or decapitated. She always started from the toes up-backpack last. When she reopened her eyes she saw her arms resting on her desktop. A wry smile formed over her lips. She couldn't help it. She didn't know anyone else capable of invisibility.

Graylee reached into her now visible pack and quickly withdrew her poetry book and flipped to page fifty-two.

When the bell rang she stuffed her book back inside. Everyone leapt from their desks to make for sixth period. Sadie Howard glanced back then did a double take when she saw Graylee. They usually sat together. How was Graylee going to explain that one?

Just as she headed toward Sadie, Graylee was bumped from behind. The force of the body against hers sent her pack flying out of her hands onto the ground. Okay, now she was pissed. "What's your..."

Graylee whipped around to find herself face-to-face with Raj McKenna.

"...problem," Graylee finished, the word fading like bleached denim.

Raj flicked his Zippo open and closed in his left hand while studying Graylee.

Raj had the kind of bronze-toned skin the socialites of McKinley tried obsessively to replicate in tanning booths. The only thing they managed to enhance was their orangish glow. Raj's was a hundred percent authentic. His mother was Indian-as in India Indian. He'd inherited her lush dark hair and exotic eyes, the color of which he got from his American father; green like a panther's, which fit him well 'cause he looked ready to pounce if you made the mistake of turning your back to him. Case in point: ramming Graylee as he'd just done now.

The Zippo clicked shut again. Raj really shouldn't be playing with a lighter considering he'd burnt down his last house.

"Sorry, didn't see you."

Graylee's jaw dropped.

This time, Raj's eyes met hers. There was a glint there, or maybe that was just the flash from Raj's lighter as he flicked it open and closed again.

As Yeats might've said back in the day: bloody hell.

The last person Graylee wanted knowing about her newfound disappearing act was Raj McKenna.

Raj was the kind of warlock who didn't take vows of honor. An invisibility spell had no place inside Raj's bag of tricks. He probably hadn't considered it before and now Graylee had gone and put the idea into his delinquent head. Friggin' great.

Raj didn't belong at McKinley High. He ought to be sent off to one of the coven's rehabilitation campsites far from civilization. But no order had been handed down, not even when Raj's own mother had taken his younger sister and gotten the hell away from him.

Mr. McKenna no longer showed up for meets. They said Raj had driven his dad to drink and the boy was left unsupervised in the ramshackle home where he and his father had relocated in a seedy part of Kent.

Raj's smile widened. "See you around, Gray."

Not if she could help it. Graylee bent down and picked her pack off the floor. If only she knew how to do a memory spell on Raj and make him forget what he'd seen... or rather not seen. But Graylee had no talent for messing with memories or emotions. She was content to let the world go on without her interference. She simply wanted to be left alone. Maybe that's why she was so good at disappearing.
