Needed:
A dish full of earth (good soil, not dry, dusty dirt).
A yellow candle A full-sized mirror
Olive, patchouli, jasmine, or cinnamon essential oil
A small flower pot
A flower or plant seed
Procedure:
Anoint the candle with the essential oil you have chosen. Place it in the center of the dish of earth. Light it and sit down with it between you and a mirror. Look deeply into the mirror, concentrate on your reflection. Without being vain, consider the things you find most beautiful about yourself - not just physically but mentally. What is your inner beauty, what is your outer beauty? It's important that you never think of what you feel must be "changed", be as positive about the beauty that you have already.
Perform this ritual 3 nights in a row.
Once the entire candle has burnt down, remove the wax from the dish. Place the earth from the dish inside a small flower pot and plant a seed inside it. Water it and care for it so that it grows properly.

Michael Salla is paying a price for this.
But why, and more important, to WHOM?
The questions we must answer is this: Who or what is behind P4C shift?
And perhaps more important, the ETs of Salla, Webre, Boylan or Greer are not the SAME entities. Not at all.
The differences between the EXOS show that they are NOT talking about the SAME beings.
Each one has his own mythology, his/her own lies, their own absurd statements, but...they have ONE THING IN COMMON, and that "THING " is the common hate for the word EVIDENCES.
The concept of Evidence is truly the forbidden idea.
I dont know if I am right but there is one possibility: (tell me if you think I'm right or wrong)
My idea is that Boylan' s Cult is working...know what I meant?
Boylan works with a submissive group of "BELIEVERS".
Probably, the EXOS need to reconsider the whole myth and follow the only possible path that only requires FAITH in the Guru: a Cult, a Religion.
If they want to "MAKE A LIVING " of all this, they need FAITH, no more pseudoscience and, of course, they need the "GOOD ALIENS ONLY".
Below another message from P4C about Salla's shift.
Dear Mr. Salla,
I find the nature of your latest e-mail disturbing. I thought that
the fundamental purpose of this discussion forum was to discover and
discuss the truth about ET existence, behavior and intentions (good or
bad) so that one could develop a proper course of action for
humanity's conduct with respect to ET.
If witnesses come forward with testimonies that indicate harmful
behavior and intent on the part of ET (of which there could be several
races or groups with diverging interests), I do not see how one could
simply conclude: forgive and reconcile! This reaction would be akin
to a turkey saying to his fellow turkeys: I have been taken by the
farmer to a strange place where I saw turkeys being beheaded and
unplucked. The farmer apparently did not have time to do anything with
me so he brought me back to the field but I want to report to you that
what I saw deeply troubles me about the farmer's intentions and about
our collective future. Your comment is akin to one of the turkeys
controlling the media then responding: I will post your message only
if it concludes on a forgive and reconcile tone...
Considering the amount of troubling negative evidence that has
already been gathered about ET actions and intentions with respect to
humanity, I find it to say the least troubling that you would state
your intent to exercise censorship on any testimony pointing to
harmful ET intent and behavior with respect to humans, if it does not
conclude by a forgive and reconcile message...
Sincerely,
JB

NOTE:
When Christ comes to claim His own
and to judge the living and the dead,
The Bible doesn't say: "... will He
find acknowledgement of His
atonement redemption?" No. It
(rather) says:"...shall he find faith
on the earth?" Luke 18:8

GOSPEL OF JOHN QUESTION:
"DID CHRIST WIPE THE SINFUL SLATE CLEAN FOR EVERY PERSON; OR, DID HE BEAR THE SINS OF THE WORLD UPON THE CROSS?"
SCRIPTURE: John 1:29-34
> [NKJV]
"ANSWER:"
The Bible says that the Christian "walks by faith" and not "by sight." [2 Corinthians 5:7] The Christian's vital breath is faith; it is not looking back (continually reminiscing) over some fixed point in history in which Christ died and bore the sins of the whole world. John 1:29 ; Isaiah 53:1f
The Bible says that the Christian is to look to Jesus the "author and finisher" ("pioneer and perfecter" - RSV) of one's faith. Hebrews 12:2 ; Hebrews 5:9. Disciples of Christ are to fixate (focus - consider attentively) upon Christ, the captain of their faith. Philippians 3:7;8;9
The Scripture never says that by grace through
the mental assent (acknowledgment) of Christ
dying for the world's sins, that a person is made
right with God. No! It rather says: "For by grace
are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is a gift of God; not of works,
lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2:8;9
Yesterday I was on the road for a considerable distance. The only thing that seemed to come in clearly on my auto's radio, was a popular Christian radio station. I was amazed how many songs dealt with the re-occurring theme that Christians were God's redeemed and that they were His children. Now, that is not an untruth; except that these songs never once mentioned "faith." When I was thinking of this, I asked myself: "What a poor witness to those unbelievers who are listening to this music and its lyrics! It gives the incorrect message that all one has to do, is appreciate God's love for giving His all." That is (somewhat) like our present White House occupier (unconstitutional "president") saying: "I believe in the 2nd Amendment (the personal right to bear firearms)." The Bible also says that devils give assent (acknowledgement) to God's person - but, don't genuinely believe in Him. James 2:19
Believing in a fixed point in history isn't the same as actually believing in Christ. Believing that Christ died for the sins of the whole world does not justify one's own soul. Believing in an event that made provision for every soul's sins to be forgiven; does not translate into
a person actually possessing the personal forgiveness of his sins. The Scripture no where states that believing (deciding for oneself) that Christ's atonement for human sin, forgives a person's sins.
The crucifiction event of God dying for the sins of the whole world and an individual believing in that event, does not take the place of the Holy Spirit's working of cleansing and sanctifying that individual's soul. Following (contained in the topical message link below) are Luther's words in explanation to the Holy Spirit's work.
PLEASE NOTE:
Part 2: How does the false teaching of universal objective justification molest Christians' faith? - thechristianmessage.org/2012/09/
The divine revelation states that faith in the
individual soul is a gift of God. It cannot be
drummed up on one's own. The Bible also states
that this individual faith comes through the
instrument (by way of) of God's divine revelation:
Romans 1:16 ; Romans 10:17 ; 2 Timothy 3:14-17 ;
Acts 8:26-29 ; 1 Peter 1:23 ; James 1:18
IN SHORT, believing in the visible historical presence of a cookie jar on Grandma's kitchen counter, does not automatically translate into cookies occupying that cookie jar. The Bible says that "...but without faith it is impossible to please him [God]..." Hebrews 11:6. It also states:
"For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it." Hebrews 4:2
"...Even as Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness. Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed. So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham. For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them..." Galatians 3:6-12
FINALLY, does the Scripture say: "Examine yourselves whether you acknowledge Christ's atonement suffering and death?" No! Rather, the Scripture says:
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? 2 Corinthians 13:5

Years back, in my experimental days, I went to see quite a few clairvoyants to see what they could tell me. Could they inform me or give me signs of the future? Would they come up with something that they couldn't possibly have known about me beforehand?
Unfortunately, in my case, the answer to both questions was 'no' - and being a 'believer' I was greatly disappointed.
I reached a conclusion that perhaps I'm a difficult person to read, perhaps I'm too guarded. I say this because one clairvoyant looked at my hand with a puzzled look, then moved on to cards and finally said words to the effect of, "Sorry, but I can't tell you anything as I'm not picking up a thing."
This worried me slightly as I thought there might be something she was hiding from me, but she assured me there wasn't any bad news - or good news - because she just couldn't see anything at all. This didn't exactly fill me with confidence. She did say, however, that I was psychic. She smiled, held her hand over mine and asked if I could feel her energy. It could perhaps have been a lovely moment but I thought I had better leave!
I then went to see Acora who describes himself as a "'world renowned Romany clairvoyant'" and was recommended to me. He saw stuff, but it had no relevance to me and nothing he said has ever come true.
He told me, for instance, that I would soon move into property developing and would own houses which I would rent out. Sounded good but then, by 'coincidence', I got talking to another man who had seen Acora as well and guess what he was told? Yes, that he'd move into property etc.
The thing about both of us was that, when we saw Acora for a reading, we were both dressed in business suits and ties and carrying brief cases - enough said.
I had my tea leaves read. A sweet old woman who told me I must be careful when I go potholing. Potholing! There's nothing I'm less likely to do. I hate the thought of squeezing into confined spaces.
And so it went on.
There was a Tarot lady, again a personable woman, but all she could end up telling me was that all that really matters is happiness. Might have been relevant I suppose but there were no predictions.
I don't know how many clairvoyants I saw but none of them could say what I'd done in the past, what my future holds or anything worthwhile.
Maybe it's just me. My wife went to see someone, when we first met, and she was told things about me (is nothing sacred!) that were true and also that she could see us, as a couple, in a white car with a small boy in the back seat. We had a son twelve months later, and a new white car.
Sceptics will say that my wife gave away clues whereas I didn't. Could be, but I'm still convinced that we can see possible avenues for our lives in advance - after all there is no such thing as time. We still have a certain control as to whether we take the full journey down these avenues or not.
I've been able to see things myself into the future in dreams, in meditations and with feelings just out of the blue.
I guess the clairvoyants I saw just couldn't read me.

"I need some help. I am very empathetic towards other people, it is so extreme that my emotions will match theirs without me even realizing it. I am trying to distance myself a little bit, but I can't help but feel really bad for people. It gets so bad I've even fallen into a small depression again. Do you know any advice, meditations, spells, or rites that can help me be able to not have my emotions match other people's?"
I understand this issue more than you know. I myself, am very intuitive and at times, I have found myself taking on the emotions of others. First things first, you do not need to feel bad about having this ability, however you should understand having this ability is taking on a responsibility to yourself. In my personal experience, I have had the same problems and it took me time to master the ability to protect myself. You are currently experiencing the depression because of the energy you take on from others. When someone has this type of intuition, it is easy to know what they are feeling, how they are feeling, and often the most dangerous is to actually experience their feelings. My suggestion to you is to perform a protection ritual or spell, and or build a protection bottle. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Cleanse yourself of negative energies given off by other people:
-Visualize a tiny hole in the small of your back, move the negative energies, and emotions of other people down toward the hole letting it drain out into the Earth. Do this until you feel the emotions of others leave your body.
-When you are ready, visually close that small dark hole, and embrace yourself, visualize yourself filling up with white light.
2. Cleanse yourself, your aura, and your chakras as well as your home (because we know that energy lingers)
-Do this by taking a cleansing bath filled with your favorite aromatherapy, I find that Lavender is a good relaxation oil, and a few drops in the bathwater is good for the soul
-When you are finished with your bath, sage yourself. Light a sage stick, encircle yourself in the smoke starting at the tip of your head and all the way to the tip of your toes.
-While smudging yourself, say "Smoke of sage encircle me, rid me of all negativity", repeat this as long as it takes you to smudge yourself
-Start at the back of your home if a single level and upstairs if you have a two story, and move counter-clockwise around the room making sure to hit each corner and window and repeat "I see only pure reflected light, I am ridding this house of all negativity, and negative emotions, O' Blessed Be." Repeat over and over again until you are finished.
-Chant as you smudge each room. When you get to the front and back doors, keep chanting the above chant with the door open, and make a sweeping motion out of the door, sweeping the negativity and depressive feelings out the door.
-Once done with the smudging, go around the home and salt it. That is, take sea salt (regular salt works if you don't have sea salt), and take pinches of it and spread it along the walls and into all corners and window sills. Remember to keep chanting until you reach the front or back door.
Lastly is the protection sachet:
3 parts Dill seed
2 parts Caraway seed
1 part Flax seed
1 pinch Salt
Place all herbs in a white or red cloth and tie up. Carry with you for protection.
On a side note, while the above may work, if this is a situation that occurs regularly, regardless of the person or situation, you need to center and ground yourself before meeting up with others or before going into large crowds. Because of your empathy and ability to feel what others feel, you could be affected by psychic vampires, and be completely drained of all good energy. Ground and center, those are the keys, remember to protect yourself by saying "these are not my emotions or feelings, I am not responsible for their feelings, I am responsible for only mine" If you feel yourself being taken in by someone or you are aware that it is occurring, please remember to take a step back, take a break and re-ground and re-center and re-protect. Soon you will know exactly how to handle these situations. Best of luck.
Blessed Be

Last Monday, President Obama gave his second inaugural address. In it, he said:
We cannot mistake absolutism for principle, or substitute spectacle for politics, or treat name-calling as reasoned debate.
Apparently, this sentence did not sit well with some on the right, in particular Wayne LaPierre, the chief executive of the National Rifle Association (NRA). The day after President Obama's second inaugural, LaPierre gave a speech to the Weatherby International Hunting and Conservation Awards in Reno, Nevada. The primary focus of his speech was the aforementioned sentence from President Obama's second inaugural address. Allow me to quote from LaPierre's speech:
So what is this "absolutism" the president attacks? And what are the so-called "principles" that he wants us to settle for instead?
Obama wants to turn the idea of "absolutism" into a dirty word, just another word for "extremism." He wants you to accept the idea of "principles" as he sees fit to define them. It's a way of redefining words so that common sense is turned upside-down and nobody knows the difference.
...
We as gun owners face the same kind of false ultimatum. We're told that to stop insane killers, we must accept less freedom - less than the criminal class and political class keep for themselves.
We're told that limits on magazine capacity or bans on 100-year-old firearms technology - bans that only affect lawful people - will somehow make us safer.
We're told that wanting the same technology that the criminals and our leaders keep for themselves is a form of "absolutism" and that accepting less freedom and protection for ourselves is the only "principled" way to live.
Think about what that means. Barack Obama is saying that the only "principled" way to make children safe is to make lawful citizens less safe and violent criminals more safe.
Criminals couldn't care less about Barack Obama's so-called "principles"! They don't have principles - that's why they're criminals.
Obama wants you to believe that putting the federal government in the middle of every firearm transaction - except those between criminals - will somehow make us safer.
...
He doesn't understand you. He doesn't agree with the freedoms you cherish. If the only way he can force you to give 'em up is through scorn and ridicule, he's more than willing to do it - even as he claims the moral high ground.
He said it yesterday! In the very same sentence that Obama talked about "absolutism" versus "principle," he also scolded his critics for "name-calling," as he called it.
...
When Barack Obama says, "we cannot mistake absolutism for principle," what he's saying is that precision and clarity and exactness in language and law should be abandoned in favor of his nebulous, undefined "principles."
I've got news for the president. Absolutes do exist. Words do have specific meaning, in language and in law. It's the basis of all civilization. It's why our laws are written down: So the "letter of the law" carries the force of the law.
That's why our Bill of Rights was written into law, to ensure the fundamental freedoms of a minority could never be denied by a majority. Those are the principles we call unalienable rights.
Without those absolutes, without those protections, democracy decays into nothing more than two wolves and one lamb voting on what to eat for lunch. I urge our president to use caution when attacking clearly defined "absolutes" in favor of his "principles."
Mister President, just because you wish words meant something other than what they mean, you don't have the right to define them any way you want. Because when words can mean anything, they mean nothing.
When "absolutes" are abandoned for "principles," the U.S. Constitution becomes a blank slate for anyone's graffiti and our rights and freedoms are defaced.
Words do have meaning, Mister President. And those meanings are absolute, especially when it comes to our Bill of Rights.
There's more, of course, but those excerpts should give you the general tone and argument of LaPierre's speech.
Now, before getting into a real substantive discussion about "absolutism", I just want to note that LaPierre appears to be arguing that President Obama is wrong for "scolding" critics for name-calling. Yet, read LaPierre's speech and his claims about President Obama and then go back and note that what President Obama "really" said was only that "We cannot... treat name-calling as reasoned debate". Does LaPierre's speech sound to you like "reasoned debate"? Or has he instead simply illustrated President Obama's point about name-calling replacing reasoned debate? I'd vote for the latter.
Anyway, I want to turn my attention to the real substance of LaPierre's speech. And remember this: The NRA may not speak for every gun owner in America, but the NRA's speech is the loudest pro-gun speech you'll hear. Moreover and more importantly, the NRA has enormous influence both on politicians and on electoral politics, due to both vast amounts of money and a well-organized grass roots (or Astroturf - it's not really clear) campaign. One more quick preliminary point: Ask yourself whether the NRA really represents its individual gun-owning members or the gun industry that, to paraphrase Indianapolis gun store owner Don Davis, "just loves to sell guns".
So let's start with LaPierre's basic premises, as summed up in the last sentence quoted above: "Words do have meaning... [a]nd those meanings are absolute, especially when it comes to our Bill of Rights." Let's presume for a moment that LaPierre is completely correct: Words have meanings and within the Bill of Rights those meanings are absolute. Well, then, I'm curious to know what meaning LaPierre would ascribe to the first thirteen words of the Second Amendment (emphasis added):
"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state", the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
Remember: Words have meanings and those meanings are absolute. Except, you know, the first "half" of the words of the Second Amendment which appear to be nothing more than a... um... er... principle?
But let's go a step further. LaPierre says that the words of the Bill of Rights have absolute meanings. Thus, according to this reasoning, "shall not be infringed" must really mean "shall not be infringed". So, under this hyper-literal, "absolutist" reading of the words of the Second Amendment, wouldn't that mean that convicted criminals "do" have a right to keep and bear arms? After all, they're still a part of "the people". What about the mentally ill? Where does the Constitution allow the government to remove the mentally ill from the definition of "the people" for whom the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed? Are you comfortable with the idea of convicted felons or the mentally ill having weapons? I'm not. If you really take this words of the Second Amendment at their truest "absolute" meaning, then wouldn't "any" gun licensing law be illegal? After all, unless the license is (pardon the pun) absolutely automatic to everyone who applies, then isn't the very existence of a licensure program that "might" deny someone a license an infringement upon the absolute right to keep and bear arms without infringement?
And let's look at the word "arms". According to the Oxford English Dictionary (yeah, I know that the right-wing probably wouldn't accept definitions from a "foreign" dictionary), "arms" means:
"Defensive and offensive outfit for war, things used in fighting" or "Instruments of offence used in war; weapons".
Now remember, according to LaPierre, meanings, especially within the Bill of Rights, are absolute.
Thus, I ask, according to LaPierre's way of thinking, why can't I have a fully automatic rifle? Why can't I have a rocket propelled grenade or hand grenade? Why can't I have a Stinger anti-aircraft missile, a bazooka, a flamethrower, or an anti-personnel mine? Why can't I have chemical or biological agents or even my own tactical nuclear weapon? Why can't I own a switchblade (well, here in Indiana I might be able to soon enough...). Why can't I buy all of the ammonium nitrate I want? After all, even a giant fertilizer bomb is still a form of arms and my right to bear that particular weapon shall not be infringed. Right? And of course, I should be able to stockpile all of the sarin gas or anthrax that I might want. Right? All of those things are "arms" and, according to LaPierre's reasoning, the right to keep and bear "arms" is absolute as is the prohibition on infringing on that absolute right.
And think of some of the other "infringements" on our right to keep and bear arms that must surely be invalidated by LaPierre's absolutist reading of the Second Amendment. Why can't I keep and bear my weapon on an airplane? I mean, shouldn't I have the right to defend myself from a terrorist? And why can't my 13-year-old kids take AK-47s to school? Are they not a part of "the people" for whom the right to keep and bear arms can't be infringed? For that matter, why can't convicted felons "in jail" or the mentally ill "in a hospital" keep and bear arms? Why can't I ring my property with "punji sticks" to keep out trespassers. Why can't I have a rocket launcher on my car? It would make me feel better in a traffic jam...
Remember, according to the chief executive of the NRA, meanings within the Bill of Rights are absolute. Thus, the phrase "the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" must be completely and totally absolute.
Is that the NRA's position? Is it yours?
As long as we're examining the absolute meaning of the Second Amendment, perhaps it's worth applying the same absolute meaning standard to other parts of the Bill of Rights; after all, LaPierre didn't limit his claim of absolute meaning to the Second Amendment. Rather, he called out the entire Bill of Rights.
So consider, by way of example, the First Amendment, applying "absolute" meanings to the words:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise ther; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Let's start with that first clause which is quite clear: "no law". Those five letters seem pretty absolute, pretty easy to understand. I'll skip religion for a moment and jump to free speech. "No law... abridging the freedom of speech..." OK. So out of curiosity, what is it that the NRA wants Congress to do about violent movies and violent video games. Pass a law to prohibit them? Hmm. And what about the right to assemble? Can you and I and a few dozen of our friends parade down Main Street or do we need a permit? Can we peaceably assemble at the 50 yard line of Lucas Oil Stadium or in the chambers of the House of Representatives? Can we walk into the next NRA national conference stage a protest? Why not? If the words of the Bill of Rights are absolute, then "no law" must mean "no law"!
And let's think about the free exercise of religion. What if my religion requires human sacrifice? Remember, "no law". OK, let's scale back a bit. Forget human sacrifice. What about animal sacrifice? What about smoking marijuana or peyote? What about the right not to seek medical care for my child? What about the right "to" seek an abortion if my religion tells me it's OK? And if my religion tells me that I should kill infidels or stone my child for talking back to me or to stone you if you eat pork? Remember, the words in the Bill of Rights are "absolute" in their meanings.
Luckily, most of the rest of the Bill of Rights uses words like "unreasonable" or "excessive" or "unusual" thus making those provisions much less absolute and much more in the nature of... "principles". But wait, I thought principles were a bad thing...
So isn't it possible that the words of the Bill of Rights aren't quite as absolute as LaPierre would like you to think they are? Might there not be room for compromise? Might it not be acceptable, notwithstanding words like "shall not be infringed" to recognize that the "principle" of the Second Amendment doesn't stop us from prohibiting felons or the mentally ill from owning guns? Might it not be acceptable for our society to decide that danger to our citizens posed by fully automatic weapons or large capacity magazines or armor piercing bullets allows us to restrict their use to the well-regulated militia, now in the form of either the police or the military? Might it not be acceptable to impose registration requirements or enhanced background checks in an effort to try to limit the flow of weapons to those who ought not have them or to cut down on the black market transfer of weapons?
It seems to me that the NRA's principle of helping gun manufacturers sell more guns is absolute and the principle of keeping our citizens, our families, our "children" safe, must by definition fall as a mere "feel good" principle that is trumped by the absolutism of the pro-gun lobby. Hmm. Isn't that what President Obama was talking about?

"Issue #5 (March 1977) of Dragon "(or "THE "Dragon", as it was still called back then) saw the second appearance of Gardner F. Fox's barbarian protagonist, Niall of the Far Travels. The story begins as Niall is aboard a boat traveling along the great river Thalamar toward the great city of Urgrik, where he hopes to find lucrative employment. His journey is interrupted by the appearance of a "great white fog" on the river, a fog that Niall believes smacks of sorcery, a claim of which the ship's captain is not so sure. The two of them examine navigation charts of the river and on them the barbarian warriors spots something that, in his mind, confirm his suspicions:
"There," Niall said, jabbing his finger.
"Those ruins... ... are only ruins," scoffed the captain.
"Na, na. They're more than a pile of rocks. There's evil there, Edron Hobbort. Ancient evil."
"Now, how can you know that?"
Niall straightened slowly. He tried to think, yet could not. Almost dazedly, he passed a hand across his broad brow. "I - cannot say. And yet - I know. It's as if - something whispered into my mind. But it told me of an evil that has come recently to life, back across eons of Time - and made its home close by this river."
Edron Hobbort snorted. "Nonsense. That ruin has been uninhabited since Porthia Malvia was queen in Angalore, and that's about ten centuries ago. We'll go on. If the sails won't work, the oars will."Niall is, of course, right to be worried, especially after the ship enters the fog and strange things begin to happen. First, the fog stings his flesh, as if tiny insects had flown across the deck. Then, the ship moved, seemingly of its own accord, toward an ancient wharf, and the ship's crew, including its captain disembarked, hypnotized by some force that did not affect Niall. Not long after they enter the fog, the swordsman hears a cry. Against his better judgment, he rushes headlong into the fog beyond the wharf, thinking at first he might find a hint of what became of the crew. Instead, he comes across a young woman being lowered into a pit, at the bottom of which is a giant snake.
Naturally, Niall rescues the woman, whose name he learns is Kathyla. She expresses surprise that the barbarian was unaffected by the same magic that bewitched the crew of the ship on which he traveled. She explains that this island, Kor Magnon, is now the home of an evil wizard called Ulkarion.
"Ulkarion needs sacrifices for Sisstorississ, the snake-like god who dwells in labyrinthine hells far out in space. Long ago, Sisstorississ was worshipped here in Kor Magnon." She caught the bewilderment in his eyes and smiled faintly.
"Kor Magnon is the name of this place where we stand. Long and long ago, it was the lair of a race of serpent-men who were worshippers of Sisstorississ. They stole human sacrifices to offer the snakegod, until the peoples of this region rose up and attacked it.
"Kor Magnon fell, everyone in it was put to death. From that day on, it has lain empty, abandoned, until all record of its location was forgotten.Yet Ulkarion searched for it, hampered only by the efforts of another wizard named Iphygia. Eventually, he defeated Iphygia and came here to worship Sisstorississ, so that the snake-god would make him powerful and almighty."
The girl shrugged. "I was to have been the first sacrifice to Sisstorississ - until you came along. I - am grateful."
Niall eyed her cautiously. "You know a lot about this magician."It's here that the true story of "Beyond the Wizard Fog" picks up and it's another enjoyable yarn, which, like the first appearance of Niall, has something of a surprise ending. It's too early to tell whether or not Fox will make these climactic twists a staple of his Niall of the Far Travels stories or not, since I've only read two so far. Much as I like them, I think it'd be a shame if the series devolved quickly into a formula, particularly since they already borrow so much from other sword-and-sorcery tales. At the same time, I can't deny that I really enjoyed "Beyond the Wizard Fog." It's neither deep nor original, but it is cleverly written and unpretentious. Fox clearly knew what he was about when he wrote this and that self-awareness, I think, elevates the story above mere pastiche and into the realm of genuinely enjoyable pulp fantasy.

Birthing is a shamanic journey.
When we want to conceive we're enveloped by love. To make room for more love, we need to let go of beliefs that do not fit the mother we will become.
Let me give you an example. If we experienced isolation as a child and were unable to bond with a caregiver, as we try to conceive, our psyche can go into battle with our body. Our psyche can rebel and turn the energy of our body off. Because it knows love will bring up these forgotten sensations of our youth. And that can be scary.
The feelings we haven't acknowledged effect our ability to conceive and birth. Most of us who have experienced loss as a child have created a dynamic way of being that overrides our abandonment. It can be devastating to our ego to unearth our emotional truth.
How do we make room for our emotional truth so we can allow for conception and birth?
One mom-to-be was so engaged in caring for her entire family; mother, sisters, brother and father, that there was no room left for herself. She had been the go to person in her family since she was about 8 years old. In her session she was able to shift her perception of responsibility for the others back to herself. She could feel this release within her low back. After 8 months of trying to conceive, she became pregnant after her next cycle. She was ready for the change.
Many of the moms I have worked with regarding conception, pregnancy and birth know what is really going on. They know what the challenge is, and it's not usually what the medical diagnoses says.
When we validate what we know is working and what isn't working it's our first step as a parent. As we acknowledge ourselves, no matter what our experience has been, this knowing can create a base of acceptance and fertility. So no matter how we bring our child into our life we have made room for them.
The anxiousness, isolation or rebellion we may have felt as children does not need to take over our ability to create a family now. But we do need to listen to what we know is true. Once we acknowledge our true feelings and give them the light of day, the alchemy begins. This alchemy is our birth, it's our shamanic journey.

I almost got aggressive last night and did some serious magick against someone. Like I said last night, I just don't do that sort of thing often. I settled for sealing her words that they harm me not.
In a nut shell, I did the following:
* First Degree Opening as outlined in John Michael Greer's Circles of Power
* Used my rainbow wand to invoke Saturn using the divine names of the planet
* Got nervous. Over what, I have no idea.
* I rolled up her email that started the problem and tied six strings, one for each direction around her words.
* I made the mistake of cutting 3 inch strings to correspond with the number of Saturn. This made them hard to tie and the knot dubious.
* I followed that mistake by using the wax from my one black candle to 'glue' the threads in place. This resulted in wax falling on my candle holder which in turn made it no longer a flat surface. You guessed it, I have black wax on my temple floor. Did I mention it has a white carpet?
* With each string, I said "I seal the words of X so they do me no harm, may they find nothing but a dark ever rolling abyss formless luminous and void."
* The normal banishings followed.
I take the wax spill and nervousness to mean that I still have a frustration issue to do deal with. Actually, it isn't even that, everyone gets frustrated at work. I just need to do so quieter.
At the meeting today, which included her boss. I looked good. She took a shot but it sounded pathetic. No one said a word to her comment, her words fell flat.

I liked this puzzle a lot. Caught all of the fish very early on and sailed through most of the puzzle storm-free.
I don't quite understand the clue for NO-HIT (4D: Pitch near perfection). I am confused by the grammar structure. NO-HIT is an adjective, right? A NO-HIT game. "Pitch near perfection" is a noun phrase, isn't it? No-hitter is a noun. Nolan Ryan threw seven no-hitters in his career, a major league record. None of them is a perfect game though.

Magical powders consist of various herbs ground up VERY fine, and blended with either cornstarch or talcum powder. (Dr. E. Products uses cornstarch for their powder base because of the recently revealed carcinogenic qualities of talcum.) They are a great way to deploy magical tricks on people without them knowing, and are one of the most powerful but under-utilized methods in the hoodoo toolbox.
The Infamous "Hot Foot Powder"
One of the most infamous powder recipes in hoodoo is Hot Foot Powder. This blend of hot spices and sulfur is used to make someone get away from you. It's not a curse, per se, but it effectively gets someone to leave - no harm intended or manifested - by lighting a fire of motivation under their feet to move on.
Hot Foot Powder is typically laid in a person's tracks where they'll walk over it and be "poisoned through the feet" (afflicted with magic through the soles of the feet). The trick with having it undetected is to mix it with local dirt to mask its color. Hot Foot Powder (or any powder, really) can be sprinkled in a line across someone's doorstep, at the foot of their driver's-side door to their car, across a walkway leading up to their home, or even a pinch in the footwell of their car or under their desk at work. You can also put a pinch in their shoes if they are the type that leaves their shoes laying around or outside their home, or you can even dust their door knobs to their homes so that they get the powder physically on them for maximum effect.
Love Me NOW! Spell Using Powders
This spell works best if you have regular communication with someone and already have a friendship in place. Write a letter by hand to your intended target. Turn the letter over and sprinkle some Love Me NOW! Powder on the back of it. Run your four fingers over the powder in a wavy pattern to dress the back of the letter. Shake off the excess then flick the paper with your index finger to get the remaining powder to fly off. Fold up the letter with the dressed side on the outside so your target will touch the dressed paper when he opens the letter. Seal the envelope with a dab of your own urine or sexual fluids. Mail the letter to your target and when he opens it, he will be affected by the powder and your personal concerns and start looking at you with loving eyes.
Neutralizing Evil With Powders
If you find some kind of evil spell left on your doorstep, or you see that someone has tried to lay a line of powder for you to cross over, do not step on it. Instead, sprinkle some Evil BEGONE! Powder or Fear Not to Walk Over Evil Powder over that line while praying for the trick to be unraveled by the just and watchful eye of God. Sweep the mess away and follow it up with a Chinese Floor Wash to cleanse away the remaining mess.
How to Sprinkle Powders
Powders are typically sprinkled from your own hand while calling out the intended target by name. It is important to call them by name, for it is the only person that the trick will affect. Anyone else who walks over the powder or touches it will not be affected. Also remember to blend the powder with local dirt to mask its color. Powders are typically sprinkled while walking backward in an odd number of steps while praying for the intended magical effect.

We are currently in the Celtic month of the ash tree Feb 18-March 17 according to Robert Graves Celtic Tree Calendar, and tonight is the Full Ash Moon.
The Ash month is the perfect time to work magic to help put your plans into action! The ash tree has energies that are all about transformation and action, and is great for breaking through barriers that block your way to success. Breaking inertia takes strong action, according to physics an object at rest tends to remain at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion. The month of the ash is the time to move from rest into action. Harnessing ash tree energy this full moon can help you face a challenging situation in order to transform you and help you forge a new reality!
The Ash Card from Voice of the Trees, Lugh sharpening his spear and about to take action! This print is available in The Official Voice of the Trees Etsy shop Click here
ASH MOON, ASH SUN
Today is a very special day in regards to the Celtic Tree Calendar, lets examine a couple of things. First of all, the Celtic Tree Calendar is a lunar calendar that revolves around the 13 moons of the year, today is the full ash moon. Ash is also associated with the sun, the Celtic sun God Lugh was said to carry a magical spear called Millar, which was made of the wood of the ash tree. It was said that no battle could be sustained against it or against the man who held it. One of Lugh's titles was Lugh of the Long Arm, possibly suggesting the spear as part of him.
So what makes today any different than any other Full Ash Moon? Large solar flares erupted on the sun this Tuesday and are due to deliver waves of solar plasma and charged particles very close to our planet "today, on the day of the full ash moon." If you live near the poles you may see brighter and more active auroras as the particles hit the earths magnetic field.
What does this mean magically? Well, if you want to work some magic using ash tree energy, this is a powerful time to do it that we may never see again in our lifetime!
Creating my Ash Tree Sun and Moon Power Amulet this morning.
ASH TREE SUN AND MOON POWER AMULET
I wrote this spell for creating this solar charged ash amulet specifically for today, but you can do it anytime, ideally during the ash month, but today during the solar flares and on the full ash moon, this spell will "rock!" You'll need a twig from an ash tree, a gold or yellow candle and a white candle. Using a wood burner if you have it, otherwise use a gold pen, or a black permanent marker, put the ogham symbol for ash in the center of the twig, put the astrological symbol for the sun above, and the moon below. Take the twig outside and pace it where the sunlight will fall upon it, even if it's cloudy where you are, the sun will still shine through the clouds. Hold your hands above it and summon the energy with these words,
"Solar rays, I call your power
Charge this amulet by the hour,
Geomagnetic energy
Fill this amulet for me,
The energies of the mighty ash
Glowing moon and solar flash
Empower this amulet of craft
As I seal now, my spell is cast."
Leave it in the sun all day and under the full moon all night. You now have a very powerful amulet full of the special energies of the day, the power of ash, the sun, the moon and the geomagnetic energies of the earth. Use this amulet can now give a powerful boost to any spell that needs extra umph. You can also keep it near your front door and use it to magically protect your space, near your bed to ward off nightmares, or in your car for safe travel. Ash is the Swiss army knife of the Celtic trees. Carry it in your pocket for protection from negative energy.
Ash is used for spells involving taking action, healing, protection from psychic attack, destroying negativity, banishing nightmares, solar magic, communication, intellect, safe travel over water, transition, growth, creativity, and success.
Here's a closeup of the one I made, it's sitting outside collecting energy now, I used a wood burner for the ogham, and both a permanent marker and gold paint pen for the sun and moon designs.
More information on working with tree energies is available in my Celtic Tree Calendar Online Classes, click here for more info
SATELLITES AND COMMUNICATIONS
Be aware that today we may also have minor disruptions, solar radiation storms can sometimes interrupt communications and power grids on Earth, and we might see some interfere with satellites today. Of course power grid operators have been alerted and are watching for any potential problems. If you're planning a flight today over one of the poles, there may be communication problems, but again, the aircraft operators have already taken precautionary measures. Any disruptions should be minor, if they happen at all, but the potential for a big boost for any sun magic done today is very good!
Happy Ash Moon!
