Prophecies About The End Of The World

The Mayan prophecy that have been told to say that the world will end December 21st 2012 can be seen in the links from an earler posts in this blog: The bible talk about the End of the World like this:God will use cosmic events at means of his judgment on earth before the final day if judgment.Revelation 16:21 speaks of catastophic disasters like 50 kil hailstones.Matthew 24:29 says "Immediately after the tribulations of those days shall the sun be darkened and the moon shall not give her light and the stars shall fall from the heaven and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken. But, like saying in one of the other posts in this series the prophecy can be seen as not fulfilled if it do not happen but can also been seen as we did take the warning and changed the bad preductions. The predictions can be seen as warnings.
In the book of Revelations 16:16 the word "armageddon" is a key-word. 16:14 "For they are the sirits of devils, working miracles, which fo forth unto the kings on the earth and of the whole world, go gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty". 16:16 "And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon." 16:17 "And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, it is done." 16:18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings, and there was a great earthquake, suck as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great." 16:19 "And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembreance before God, to give unto her the cup of wine of the firencenecc of his wrath." 16:20 And every island flea away, and the mountains were not found."
Nostradamus prophecies only went as far as the year 3797. That would be the 38th century. There have been specualtions if he was wrong there and the world will end in 2012. Nostradamus predict a great change in 2012 and that we will be taken to the Golden Age by the great spiritual Savior.
But, like saying in one of the other posts in this series the prophecies can be seen as not fulfilled if it do not happen but can also been seen as we did take the warning and changed the bad predictions. The predictions can be seen as warnings!

The BOVEDA SHRINE OR BOVEDA SPIRITUAL ALTAR is the sanctuary where we worship our eguns. It is usually placed somewhere quiet in the home where you can sit and meditate with them. The items that are needed to construct this alter is indefinite.
But the main things that you need are:
* A small table
* A white cloth
* A rosary
* A bible
* Incense
* White candle
* A crucifix
* Florida water
* 7 or 9 clear glasses
*Note- spiritualist use either 7 or 9 glasses. It doesn't matter because this is your alter and your eguns run this alter. 7 is the universal number so that's why 7 can be used. 9 is the number of the dead so that's why 9 is used. Which ever way they are both good unless your eguns say other. Now once you located your house of ocha, your godparents or through a divination with the shells or Ifa, they might tell you specifically which number of glasses to use.
These are the main items that are needed. You first locate the area in your house where you can set your boveda or spiritual alter up with no interruptions ever. You clean the area with holy water and perfume (Florida water). After the area is clean and blessed you burn church incense in the area to purify it and your home. Place your table with the white cloth in the center of the area. Out of the 7 or 9 glasses you are going to use, one of them should be slightly bigger than the rest. This glass is known as the dedication to God and it should always be placed in the center of the table. The remaining glasses are placed either around the main glass or as in a pyramid affect. Again however your eguns indicate. But to start off place them around the main glass in a circular formation. Fill each glass to the brim with crystal clear water. Water is the main conductor in the spiritual world. Place your bible on the table and your incense, whether its incense sticks or the actual coal. Now place your rosary and your white 7 day glass candle which should be in front of all the glasses and lit. That's the basic way of constructing your boveda or spiritual alter. Now once you have gotten the hang of it you can start to place pictures of dead relatives, different color cloths around the edges when you are praising the Congo spirits, you can place a cup of coffee with a cigar or a small shot glass of rum. You can place different types of healing and meditating stones as well to help you in your transition. Flowers are important because it brings a sense of joy in our lives as well as the eguns lives. Tarot cards and coins for the Spaniard eguns. Basically anything and everything that you know your eguns like you can place it on the alter.
Once your alter is set up you can now sit in front of it and start of with some of the selected prayers in the Kardec's Book of Prayers or you can say any prayer you want. You can read versus from the bible in worship of God and sing any type of hymns or songs you wish and meditate upon your eguns. You can also place your egun stick (palo de muerto) there as well and you can summons your spirit using this particular stick which is prepared for you by your spiritual godparents through certain offerings.
Another spiritual altar that is allowed in our religoin is the teja (roof tile) which is marked by Ifa. When one gets a consultation from Orula, it might be specified that the person needs to tend to their eguns and Ifa will open that portal as well with the teja in which the babalow will diving through the oracles and consult directly with your spiritual cord. The babalow will perform certain ceremonies and mark this spiritual teja with certain markings to call your eguns and eggunguns closer. This is usually placed in a spot where it wont be bothered. Whenever you perform some type of ceremony within the ocha realm, that egun teja will be praised and certain services will be put to it in homage of the EGUNS.

As'i sea."
As'i sea."
As'i pues, !s'irveme ahora!"
As'i, !acude a mi llamada! Oh Athame de acero...por la Dama de la oscuridad, por los cielos...las estrellas..y los esp'iritus que sobre ellas reinan. !Recibe la virtud! De tal modo de cumplas mi voluntad ah'i donde te utilice. Por el poder oscuro, as'i sea!"
As'i sea."
Lady RavenGrelen )O(

By Kelly O'Connell
The bible of modern community activists-Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals-contains a surprising yet highly illustrative dedication, a paean to Satan. And as unorthodox as this move might seem, it is actually a Marxist trope to dedicate oneself to the Devil. In fact, many early socialists did this before Alinsky was born. And the depth of seriousness and feeling is not to be doubted. Satan is highly regarded by some socialists. For example, Time magazine reports one socialist exclaiming:"I thank Satan," exclaimed the Socialist delegate, "that I have lived to see the day when the great popular masses united. I beg Satan to give me six months more, so that I shall see the Front in operation." The author of this sardonic invocation was bent, shriveled old Comrade Corradetti, a devout diabolist from Benevento; he was addressing the 26th National Congress of the Italian Socialist Party in Rome's new Cinema Astoria.
Could Karl Marx and other foundational socialists, like Proudhon and Bakunin, have had a soft-spot for Lucifer? Would it even make sense to suggest anti-religious, godless persons could still salute Satan? This article is a brief investigation into whether socialism has any claim to fame as an ideology of not just atheists, but even diabolically minded people.
I. HISTORY OF SOCIALISM
The history of socialism is rooted in the aftermath of the French Revolution, yet has precedents in ideas developed in the medieval Church. Moreover, the earliest socialists tended to cluster around Paris and London. Socialism combines a rejection of some of the excesses of the Industrial Revolution, along with certain ideas taken from a humanistic reading of the Bible, yet demands a wholesale rejection of a literal reading of Holy Writ.
The earliest socialists were radicals who sought to overturn the established order. The essential idea motivating socialism was a rejection of private property. This is perhaps the greatest claim in the history of leftism, the idea that private property is taken from the poor, by definition. Or, quoting Pierre-Joseph Proudhon-"Property is Theft." New World Encyclopedia describes the rise of early socialism,
The term "socialism" was first used in the context of early nineteenth-century western European social critics as mass society was beginning to develop with the modern bureaucratic state and the mass production of goods through industrialization. The ideas were rooted in doctrines and social experiments associated with British and French thinkers. These theorists advocated reforms such as the equal distribution of wealth and the transformation of society into small communities in which private property was to be abolished.
II. FOUNDATIONS OF SOCIALISM
Highly influential political scientist Eric Voegelin describes the medieval foundations of early socialism. He states that Joachim of Flora, a rogue priest, created the archetype society which all future socialist writers would cite. Joachim broke history into three parts-the times of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Joachim's influence on socialism cannot be overestimated. Marx ended his revolution with benevolent Anarchy, where the State fades away and all people live in harmony, sharing everything and fighting over nothing, in a communist paradise. This is an exact humanistic replica of Joachim's paradise on earth created after the Church fades away and all humans interact directly with God.
Such writers as Frenchman Saint-Simon and his lieutenant-the deranged August Comte-moved this dream from being a religious paradise to wholly secular, devoted to science. Marx, highly influenced by these French socialists, accepted their take on Joachim's Kingdom of God on earth, and made his third-period into an anti-religious, godless heaven. And from there comes the inevitable anti-Christian maneuver to salute Satan for rejecting God and founding his own kingdom upon the embers of the Garden of Eden.
III. SATAN ">
It might seem absurd to the average person that the founders of socialism and Marxism-which ostentatiously discarded religion, in the most dramatic manner possible, would invoke Satan. After all, the idea of a devil is hardly intelligible without an accompanying God to animate the story.
Yet, seen from another angle, Satan is a perfect symbol of the mission of socialism, Marxism and Fascism-to remake the world of mankind without any reference to God. Further, in reading Saul Alinsky's dedication to his book, we are not observing a bizarre anomaly, but instead a well-established early socialist fixture-the rebellion of creation against God.
A. Socialist Satan-Boosters
A few highly influential early socialist writers shall suffice in understanding the stunning pro-Satan tissue from which socialism arose.
1. Mikhail Bakunin: We Must Awaken the Devil
Mikhail Aleksandrovich Bakunin (1814-1876), founder of Russian Nihilism, was born in Tvar, 150 miles northwest of Moscow. He joined the army, then left to pursue a degree in philosophy. He described Marx's beloved Hegelian political theory as the "Algebra of Revolution." Bakunin hated religion, saying "Socialists recognize each other by the words, 'In the name of the one to whom a great wrong has been done'...". He was determined to change the world through radical politics. Says one writer,
Bakunin was a highly prolific theorist and feared agitator who spent his life running from the authorities. He was prosecuted in absentia and sentenced to Siberian hard labor. Bakunin was deported from France to Russia and made a surprise confession to Tsar Nicholas I. Bakunin admitted, "There was in my character a radical defect; Love for the fantastic, for out-of-the-way, unheard of adventure, for undertakings which open up an infinite horizon and whose end no man can foresee."
Bakunin's Confession was no exaggeration, he really did have a colossal problem with authority figures-starting with God. Examine the following quotes he delivers on the topic:
The idea of God implies the abdication of human reason and justice; it is the most decisive negation of human liberty and necessarily ends in the enslavement of mankind both in theory and practice...Unless, then, we desire the enslavement and degradation of mankind...we may not, must not make the slightest concession to God. He who desires to worship God must harbour no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity. (Federalism, Socialism, and Anti-Theologism)
From his book God and the State, we have the following anti-religious gems:
Jehovah, of all the gods adored by men, was certainly the most jealous, the most vain, the most ferocious, the most unjust, the most bloodthirsty, the most despotic, and the most hostile to human dignity and liberty.
The Evil One is the satanic revolt against divine authority, revolt in which we see the fecund germ of all human emancipation, the revolution. Socialists recognize each other by the words "In the name of the one to whom a great wrong has been done." Satan [is] the eternal rebel, the first freethinker and the emancipator of worlds. He makes man ashamed of his bestial ignorance and obedience; he emancipates him, stamps upon his brow the seal of liberty and humanity, in urging him to disobey and eat of the fruit of knowledge.
And Bakunin also wrote this:
In this revolution we will have to awaken the Devil in the people, to stir up the basest passions. Our mission is to destroy, not to edify. The passion of destruction is a creative passion.
2. Pierre Joseph Proudhon: Come, Satan, Come...
Considered the "Father of Anarchism," Proudhon was a French thinker who lived from 1809-1865. Born to humble circumstances, Proudhon became a well-known French social theorist by the 1840s. Anarchy is technically the absence of law, but also the idealized final phase of Marxism. Proudhon taught "anarchy is order" and borrowed J.J. Rousseau's belief that man in his natural state is good, but institutions are bad. One writer describes him,
Proudhon was the leading left intellectual in France or for that matter, all of Europe, far surpassing Marx's notoriety or Bakunin's. He was among the inventors of socialism, along with Marx, Bakunin, Engles, etc. Of these, Proudhon had the profoundest effect upon the workers' movement in the 19th century.
And like many post-French Revolutionary Parisians, Proudhon was of a decidedly anti-clerical bent. He vigorously opposed the Church, and even went so far as to write panegyrics to Satan. The following quotes are from his writings, which begins with this horrific broadside launched against God:
And for my part I say: The first duty of man, on becoming intelligent and free, is to continually hunt the idea of God out of his mind and conscience. For God, if he exists, is essentially hostile to our nature, and we do not depend at all upon his authority. We arrive at knowledge in spite of him, at comfort in spite of him, at society in spite of him; every step we take in advance is a victory in which we crush Divinity. I shall purify myself, idealize my being, and become the chief of creation, the equal of God. By what right should God still say to me: Be holy, for I am holy? Lying spirit, I will answer him, imbecile God, your reign is over; look to the beasts for other victims. For God is stupidity and cowardice; God is hypocrisy and falsehood; God is tyranny and misery; God is evil.
Proudhon was not content to simply anathematize God, but also heaped up praise for Satan:
Come, Satan, come, thou the calumniated of priests and of kings! Let me embrace thee, let me press thee to my bosom! Long is it that I have known thee, and long hast thou known me! Thy works, O blessed one of my heart! not always are they beautiful and good; but they alone give a meaning to the universe, and save it from absurdity. What would man be without thee? A beast.
While some explain the preceding passage as a simple literary allusion used to make a point, one could fairly answer that it simply does not matter whether Proudhon was a biblical literalist, or symbolist. Because he clearly rejects God's essence and embraces that of Satan. In doing so, he discards what is arguably the best to embrace the spirit of rebellion, chaos, ultra-humanism, and revolution. Now who will defend his philosophy, even there is no real worship there?
3. KARL MARX: WITH SATAN I HAVE STRUCK MY DEAL
The anti-religious and devil saluting done by Karl Marx has been noted previously in the essay Socialism's God-Karl Marx: Was He Stupid, Insane...or Possessed? Many instances are cited in this article. But a few examples of his notorious statements are needed to prove the point. Pastor Richard Wurmbrand's Marx and Satan is a book claiming Marx was an unambiguous follower of the devil. After a nominally Christian childhood, Karl Marx spent formative years of his life writing anti-God screeds, including encomiums dedicated to the devil. In a poem called "The Player," Marx wrote:
The hellish vapors rise and fill the brain,
Till I go mad and my heart is utterly changed.
See this sword? The prince of darkness sold it to me.
For me he beats the time and gives the signs.
Ever more boldly I play the dance of death.
Karl's father knew of his son's fixation on Satan and it worried him. His father wrote in a letter: "Only if your heart remains pure and beats humanly and ifnot+no demon is able to alienate your heart from better feelings, only then will I be happy." Marx was close friends with Satan-praising people. Karl admitted in his writings his goal was power, not helping people. Fifth. Marx and all the other socialists admitted to hating God and religion. Finally, virtually all of Marxism is the total opposite of the Bible.
Says one writer, "Marx wrote in The Communist Manifesto that his aim was the abolition not only of all religions, but also of all morals, which would make everything permissible."
Consider the craziness of Marx's comments, in his poem "The Pale Maiden":
Thus heaven I've forfeited,
I know it full well.
My soul, once true to God,
Is chosen for hell.
IV. MARXISM V. THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
A. Fascinatingly, Marxism, socialism, Fascism, communism and all leftist ideologies completely reject all Ten Commandments, as listed in Exodus 20. Consider:
1."You shall have no other gods before Me."
Since Marxism rejects religion and God Himself, everything therefore comes before God.
2."You shall not make yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything in heaven or earth."
Communist countries are famous for creating huge personality cults which included ever-present pictures and posters of the current leader, a godlike-man.
3."You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain."As seen in this article, communists specialized in insulting God and religion.
4."Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy."
There were no holy days in communist countries, and the people were routinely overworked, often to death. Further, real churches were destroyed, so none worshiped God there Sundays.
5."Honor your father and your mother."
Families had no rights under the communist law and the State took the role of Fathers. Further, families were turned against one another by the need to gain by informing on each other.
6."You shall not murder."
At least 150 million innocent people were murdered last century by communist regimes.
7."You shall not commit adultery."
The right to reproduce was owned by the State, which could dissolve marriage at will. Further, Marxist ethics are non-existent. So all things were acceptable.
8."You shall not steal."
The entire economic system of Marxism and socialism is based upon theft.
9."You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor."
One of the accepted ways of getting ahead in Marxist countries was lying about your neighbors to the authorities.
10."You shall not covet your neighbor's things."
Socialism is based upon coveting other people's stuff and nothing else.
Conclusion
Saul Alinsky's book Rules for Radicals, A Practical Primer for Realistic Radicals, contains this bizarre dedication:
Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins-or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom-Lucifer.
But now we can see that instead of this sentiment being a strange anomaly, it actually fits into exactly the history of socialism. This in turn can only mean that Marxism fits within an atheistic and even satanic view of the world. We can illustrate this by quoting Christ's description of Satan in John 8:44:
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
In John 10:10, Christ also said of Satan, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."
If stealing, killing and destroying represents Satan on earth, then socialism must be devilish because that is all Marxists seem to understand once they get in power. Satan must have loved the old USSR, but he's currently making a move to establish Russia in America.

Teutonic Numerology
Posted by

/ 7:01 PM /
Teutonic is a word that was once used to denote a specific Germanic tribe, but now encompasses a heritage that includes much of Northern Europe including Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland. This is mainly due to the travels of the Teutonic people and the spread of their wisdom.
Teutonic numerology is different from western numerology and has a different spiritual meaning of numbers in that counting worked on a base 12 system. Therefor the concept of perfect numbers is shifted to 12 and its multiples. In Teutonic numerology the numbers have specific meanings that usually correspond with rune magic.
One - represents the prime source and is the end of the synthesizing process
Two - represents duality, twins and active balance
Three - One of the first magical numbers of the Teutonic people. Three represents action and reaction. It represents the synthesis of opposites.
Four - this is the number of stability, completeness, and the wholeness of Earth. It bears reference to the four dwarves who forged Freya's necklace. It is also associated with the sun.
Five - The Germanic week was only five days long. Five is a number of active order and control
Six - It is another magical number, representing the balance of two and the synthesis of three, but is not mentioned much in Teutonic mythology
Seven - This number is not mentioned much in the myths, but some believe it can be a number of death and can be used for contact with other worlds.
Eight - Represents the completeness of the Heavens and the otherworlds. It is the number of travel between the worlds being associated with Sleipnir. It is a number of wholeness. There are 3 sets of 8 runes that make up the elder futhark.
Nine - This is the greatest magical number. Odhinn hangs nine nights on the tree Yggdrasil. There are also nine worlds in Teutonic belief. It is a number of power and direction.
Ten and Eleven have very little meaning in Teutonic numerology
Twelve - Another number of great wholeness and being. There are 12 Gods and 12 Goddesses and 12 great halls of Asgard. Twelve is a number of earthly power
Thirteen - This is a number of wisdom and magical power.

Hex Signs
Posted by

/ 2:09 AM /
I think when many people hear the word "hex" they immediately thing of "curse". However, when used to refer to a type of folk art traditionally painted on barns and homes, hex takes on an entirely different meaning.
"Hex signs" originate in Pennsylvania Dutch country and can be used magically or simply appreciated for their artistic beauty. Indeed, many historians and folklorists believe that the designs were originally nothing more than folk art brought over from Germany, but which later developed into a form of ethnic symbolism. These days, many hex signs are associated with specific intents and carry quite a bit of magical power with them. But some are still just art. It's all in the intent, after all.
The term "hex sign" was probably picked up because of its sexiness. In a book published in 1924 about the Pennsylvania Dutch, many terms were used by local farmers to refer to the signs, including "blumme" (flowers) or "schtanne" (stars). However one farmer called them "Hexefoos" and that's what stuck.
There are a few classic designs for hex signs, many of which incorporate geometric shapes with symbols. Magically, the meaning of the hex is based on the shapes, colours and symbols used in its design. For example a six-pointed rosette chases away bad luck, an eight-pointed star invites good fortune and an eight-pointed star or "sun ray" with a circle at the center is a symbol for success. If you add rain drops and/or wheat to this design, the hex may mean a good weather for successful harvest, however if you add acorns to the design it may mean success with conception or with a new project.
Here are some traditional meanings for hex signs:
* Rosettes: Luck (or chasing away bad luck)
* Stars: Luck or success (or protection)
* 4-pointed sun wheel: Warmth and fertility
* Acorn: Fertility or "humble beginnings"
* Dove: Peace or friendship
* Heart: Love
* Oak leaf: Strength and endurance
* Raindrop: Good weather or abundance
* Tulips: Faith, hope and trust (or chastity)
* Wheat: Abundance, prosperity (abundant crops)
If you are creating your own hexes then I believe that you can use symbolism that is meaningful for you and that has some sort of universal or cultural associations around it. The same goes for colour and geometry. Like other forms of magic that involve creating something (such as a talisman), you will be drawing energy to the spell and starting to form it as you work out the design of your hex. While creating the design, really focus on the intent or purpose of the hex, including the specific symbols and how the symbolism will empower the hex. Afterwards, raise energy to give it more juice if you want to, but sometimes the simple act of purposeful and focused creation is enough.
Hexes can be drawn, painted, embroidered, knitted, carved, planted as a design in a garden, decorated into a cake, or made in any way that results in a visual symbol. It's a fun and powerful form of spellcraft.

BryAnn Becker Veronika Ludewig rubs outside of a crystal singing bowl to produce a tone during one of her meditation classes at The Dharma Room in Sioux Falls (Elisha Page/Argus Leader).
BEGINNER'S MEDITATIONBegin with a few minutes of meditation every day. Be comfortable. Then go right into your body and notice any tension. Breathe naturally. Follow your breath. You can also take straight, deep breaths and count. Hold breath for four counts, release for a count of four, and start again. Release any expectation of what is supposed to happen. (
Melissa Shattuck was recently stranded at the Chicago O'Hare Int'l Airport for three days on her way back to Sioux Falls from a workshop in Puerto Rico with The Chopra Center. Instead of becoming overly worried and stressed, Shattuck took the setback in stride. A friend remarked to her how calm Shattuck was during the event.
She credits her meditation practice for helping her keep anxiety and stress in check. Shattuck, co-owner of The Dharma Room, started meditating about four and half years ago after an experience at the The Chopra Center in Carlsbad, California. She started meditating to deal with stress.
"This was the most life-changing thing for me in dealing with depression and anxiety," Shattuck says. She is a certified meditation instructor with The Chopra Center, started by teacher and author Deepak Chopra and David Simon. She also teaches Ayurveda and yoga. MORE>>

Scattering Rose Petals Under The Moon
Posted by

/ 5:29 AM /
It has been a busy month and the rest of the summer looks to be the same. This week I am at the shop three days caring for the crystals and advising in my capacity as "Resident Witch" - I love my job! It seems like we were just honoring the Dark of the Moon and now, here is the Full Rose Moon, a moon I love celebrating! This is so much a women's moon, for me and mine anyway.
There are quite a few names for July's Full Moon, in fact Rose Moon may apply to June as well. In June I celebrate The Moon of Fruit and Flowering, which is a celebration I created myself. Here are For our celebration of July, the main theme is the Rose Moon, but adding Claiming and Blessing as well. The altar is dressed with roses, both fresh and dried petals and buds. Rosewater to cleanse with and a special rose blend oil for anointing are also included. We invoke the Goddesses with a calling out of Their names and the energies we associate with Them and claim our power and worth with a prayer for affirmation of self-worth. Offerings, a libation and divination are included among other things.
As our coven is dedicated to Hekate, we naturally honor Her, but include other Goddesses as well, such as:Aphrodite, Persephone, Selene, Hestia, Sulis, Rosmerta, Lilith, The Fates and Ananka. Yes, this is mixing our cultures certainly, but for this ritual, we honor ALL Goddesses, of all cultures and all women. For us, it's our Dianic/Feminist thing!
I hope you are blessed by the feminine power of the rose this full moon.

Blessings nine!

Treatment For Magic Which Is A Spiritual Disease
Posted by
Unknown
/ 10:54 AM /
Due to lack of awareness about the black magic spells, a person may not be able to cure it. This would be quite a pathetic situation. But if a person is aware about the whole idea, yet he chooses to ignore it, then that would be a sort of enmity with oneself. Having an illusion that we cannot be harmed by anyone would be like living in the fool's paradise. If it could affect even our dear Prophet Mohammad (SAW), then we would definitely be much more vulnerable to magic.
The side effects of not getting an appropriate treatment for magic which is a spiritual disease of sorts are:
Sleepless nights hamper the focus and attentiveness of a person. He finds it difficult to carry on with his duties in a normal way. Not getting enough sleep may lead to insanity and weakness.
Severe headache is a symptom of black magic. So if a timely cure is not sought, continuous headache destroys his normal life as he is unable to concentrate.
Black magic raises the body temperature which makes the victim feel that he has a fever. So he keeps consulting doctors and starts worrying that he may be suffering from some chronic ailment.
Another result is that he is loses his job or his business meets with a huge loss. So he gets financially drained. If he keeps ignoring all warnings by his well wishers that he may be an unlucky victim of envy and enmity of some relative etc and could be under a spell, his situation would keep on deteriorating.
As they say, a stitch in time saves nine. Likewise, not healing oneself of this disease which destroys not only the health but also the wealth of the victim, leads to complications. One after another, all the property and assets of the victim, whether his own house, car, business etc have to be sold. The expenditures go on mounting, so do the loss, if not treated on time.
The victim becomes frail because of health problems. The medicines he takes do not cure him because the problem is beyond the influence of a few pills. He ends up wasting a lot of money but in vain.
There are constant hurdles in his life due to which a lot of his matters lie unresolved. The victim keeps living with a false hope that his problems will get solved.
Hence, it would be wiser to be aware regarding this issue and if one thinks that symptoms of black magic are showing up, and then he or she should take the requisite steps to nip the problem in its bud.

Ways How To Prevent Mosquitoes This Summer

How to Prevent Mosquitoes This Summer
Mosquitos they are not just annoying, But they are DangerousMosquitoes Despite their small size kill Millions of people Worldwide every year by spreading disease
But at the Same time Bombarding your body with Toxic Chemicals that Pollute the Environment only do more harm than good, so here is natural ways to repel them without chemicals
1.ELIMINATE STANDING WATER. Objects that can collect water provide for perfect breeding areas for mosquitoes. This includes plastic wrappers, tarps, tires, planter saucers, kids' toys and clogged gutters. Also, if you're a fan of birdbaths, change the water in them at least twice a week, and, of course, change the water in outdoor pet bowls regularly. For items such as recycling bins, drill drainage holes to prevent standing water.
2.GERANIUM, SOYBEAN AND COCONUT OIL - Found in a product called Bite Blocker
this unique blend of oils repels mosquitoes for about an hour
I tried Bite Blocker last summer and never got bit once
3. FOR A NATURAL APPROACH, TRY SPRAYING LEMON ON BUSHES, SHRUBS AND VINES
Lemon eucalyptus oil - Together these natural essential oils combine to wallop the mosquitoes with a one-two punch. Providing natural protection from mosquitoes and other carnivorous bugs, lemon eucalyptus oil lasts longer than any other natural repellent (6 hours)
4.CITRONELLA CANDLES
- Made from the oil of citronella grass, this lemon-smelling oil wards off mosquitoes and other flying pests with its natural lemon smell. Although citronella oil can also be used directly on the skin, these candles work best in combination with another natural repellant method.
You can also Grow Citronella Plants around your home in Pots
Break off few stems and branches and get the oils in the air
5. MARIGOLDS also repel Mosquitoes candles and soaps Marigold scented helps repel them away
6. BURN HERBS.
(Not that herb.) The next time you barbeque, throw some Sage, Rosemary, Horsemint, Lemongrass, Ageratum Beebalm, Catnip,Marigolds, Basil, Lavender,Lemon Scented Geranium: on the coals to repel mosquitoes.
7. EAT MORE GARLIC.
When you eat garlic, especially large quantities of it, an invisible layer of garlic oil seeps from your pores and creates a mosquito barrier. If you don't like the thought of eating more garlic, you can also use garlic juice to make a natural repellant.
Mix one part garlic juice with 5 parts water in a small spray bottle. Shake well before using. Spray lightly on exposed body parts for an effective repellent lasting up to 5 to 6 hours.' And if you don't like the idea of reeking of garlic, you can dip strips of cotton cloth into the malodorous mixture which you can then hang in strategic areas such as patios, decks and such as a local deterrent.
8. ATTRACT BATS.
It is said that one small brown bat can catch 600 mosquitoes per hour. In an effort to attract these opportunistic insect eaters, you might want to consider building or buying a bat house. And if you're worried about contracting rabies from the bats you attract, consider the Niagara Frontier Wildlife Habitat Council's statistic that the less than half of one percent of all bats that contract rabies, which all mammals can do, 'they normally bite only in self-defense and pose little threat to people who do not handle them.' For a free bat house pattern, go to Bat Conservation International.
10-25 drops essential oil. Try lavender, rose geranium (for ticks), coriander seeds, peppermint, cajeput and citronella
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon aloe vera gel (optional)
Combine the ingredients in a glass jar; stir to blend. Dab a few drops on your skin or clothing.
or spray on body in a spray bottle
HOMEMADE INSECT REPELLENT RECIPE 3

Tagetes erecta are the tallest, at three to five feet. They are sometimes known as African, or American, marigolds.Bushy T. patula, or French marigolds, are somewhat smaller and more compact. "Be brave."When you have the courage to face your fears,"silent strength will be given to you."
- Jasmeine Moonsong
Merry Meet and Good Morning :))) Blessings to you and yours for a magickal day today. Today is Saturday, October 20, 2012
Saturdays are ruled by Saturn. Saturn's seemingly infinite journey around the Sun connects us to a greater world beyond. Today is a day of wisdom and awareness. It's a wonderful day to work on spiritual awareness and connection with the divine. Take some time to meditate today and connect with the universal energy. When working with stones today choose to wear turquoise, labradorite, or diamond for protection. Use amethyst in amulets.
Tonight's Moon is Waxing, First Quarter, in Capricorn. The Waxing Moon is when the moon is getting larger in the sky, and moving towards the full moon. It is the ideal time for magick that draws things towards you bringing about positive changes. The Waxing Moon represents the Goddess in her Maiden aspect. The Maiden is all about new beginnings, youthful ideas and enthusiasm. The Moon in Capricorn develops strong structure. It focuses on traditions, responsibilities, and obligations. It's a good time to set boundaries and rules. The magickal color of the day is Indigo, and the incense of the day is Rue. Have an amazingly magickal day!
Love and Blessings,
Jasmeine Moonsong

How To Make A Pastors Job Joyful
Posted by

/ 6:23 PM /
As a pastor for 33 years, I've experienced the ups and downs ministry brings. Sometimes it seems like I'm on an emotional high after a baptism service, a breakthrough elders' meeting, or a powerful worship service. Other times I've had to battle thoughts of giving up when I receive several critical emails in one week, a staff member is consistently underperforming and I need to confront him, or when it seems like the ministry has hit a lid. However, I believe one thing makes a pastor's job most joyful. See if you agree.
In the most intimate of the Apostle Paul's New Testament letters, Philippians, he gives us a clue to what can make a pastor's job most joyful. He writes this phrase in Philippians 2.16 "in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor for nothing."
William Barclay explains the meaning of this verse when he says that Paul uses a term for an athlete who trains. No athlete wants his training to fail. He wants to win the race for which he's training. So, Paul prays that he may not be like an athlete whose training and effort have gone for nothing. For him the greatest prize in life was to know that through him others had come to know and to love and to serve Jesus Christ. [Barclay, W. (Ed.). (1975). "The letters to the Philippians, Colossians, and Thessalonians" (electronic ed., pp. 45-46). Philadelphia: The Westminster John Knox Press.]
In other words, when Paul came to the end of his life, he would not want his sacrifice and service to have been a waste. He is telling the church at Philippi that they bring him the greatest joy when they love God and love others well.
When Christians truly love God and others, it minimizes crabbiness, critical spirits, and nitpicky preferences. It prompts believers to willing give of their time, talent, and treasures. More people extend grace when things don't go their way in the church. And, by the way, the opposite should hold true as well. When we pastors love God and love others well, we extend those same graces to people in our churches.
So how can we encourage our church to make our job joyful and in doing so fulfill Hebrews 13. 17 which says, "Contribute to the joy of their leadership, not its drudgery? (Message) "Consider these suggestions.
1. Model the behavior and attitude you hope those in your church will live out. We can't live by another standard. Neither can we expect others to do what we are unwilling to do ourselves.
2. At appropriate times (not when you're mad at somebody), include this concept in your teaching and preaching. I recently taught Philippians 2 which made it natural to broach the topic.
3. Tell stories of church people who live out godly character and conduct. People emulate what you publicly honor.
4. Thank people when they live out the values that bring you joy. Express it privately and publicly.
What has brought you the greatest joy in ministry? How can you encourage church people to do it more, without becoming self-serving?

SOME THOUGHTS ON SHAMANISM IN THE PAGAN COMMUNITY
BY BOB GUSTAFSON(Bob is a Warrior of the Mohawk Nation who fought at the
historic battle of Wounded Knee, a leader of the United
American Indians of New England, and a founding member of the
Thomas Merton Alliance.)
An oft-told story in Indian country concerns a Plains
Elder who traveled to Washington DC to express a long-standing
grievance with the Bureau of Indian Affairs. In an effort to
butter the old man up, the BIA official took him out to dinner
at an expensive restaurant and told him he could have whatever
he wanted on the menu. The old man promptly ordered a steak
and made quick work of it when it was served. Seeing the
elder's still-hungry look, the official told him to go ahead
and order another. The old man did and ordered and ate a third
as well.
In awe, the BIA official said, "Gee, Chief, I sure wish I
had your appetite." To which the old man, shaking his head,
replied, "you've stolen our land, taken nearly everything we
have, and now you even want my appetite."
This story reflects the feelings of many of us as we watch
non-Indian Pagans take over our traditional ways-vision quests
and sweat lodges, for example. The current vague, and often
erroneous, articles and discussions of Shamanism in the
non-Indian Pagan community are the most recent and disturbing
manifestations of this takeover.
Before delving into native Traditions, be they the Way of
the Longhouse, the Sun Dance, or the Kiva, non-Indian Pagans
should keep in mind the following points:
First and foremost is the fact that our Warriors have
fought and died as recently as the last decade to defend and
preserve our old ways. That struggle continues.
Second is the fact that all of our medicine ways are
tribal and intended to serve the People. Ours is not a
tradition where "you do your own thing."
Third, true sharing comes only between equals-not between
oppressor and oppressed. Let there be no mistake; we are still
an oppressed People in our own homeland.
Fourth, our traditional elders do not advertise in the
pages of NEW AGE or in Pagan publications. Indeed, our
traditional elders are among our most militant political
leaders. Many of them urge total separation from the dominant
society.
Fifth, Europe was once as tribal as we continue to be.
Non-Indian Pagans have their own roots to draw upon.
Sixth, some of our spiritual leaders have taken under
their wings a select number of non-Indians. In my experience,
these have been people who have helped us in our struggle,
e.g., non-Indian medics who served inside Wounded Knee.
Learning our ways is a privilege that must be earned.
Finally, keep in your minds that my ancestors presented
Dutch invaders with a two-row band of wampun. The two rows
were to symbolize that the two cultures were intended to live
separately, but in peace, on this continent. The wampum band
still exists. Peace with justice is still a dream.
Oneh.

THE THOMAS MERTON ALLIANCE
7 MARLBORO STREET/NEWBURYPORT, MA. 01950/617-465-0825
TO: the Pagan Community
We, the undersigned participants in the Thomas Merton Alliance
Conference, September 14, and 15, 1985, Cambridge, Mass.
unequivocally condemn the practice of selling Shamanships,
Vision Quests, and Sweat Lodges.
It has forcefully come to our attention that this practice is
currently being carried out by a number of Pagans across the
country, and we believe it is past time for responsible Pagans
to speak out in opposition.
Because this practice is:
- Theft of Native American spiritual tradition.
- An attempt, in the instance of selling Shamanships,
to accomplish in a short period of time that which it
takes an authentic Shaman a lifetime to learn,
- An affront to the tradition, both among Native
Americans and European Pagans, of NOT selling
medicine/magical services,
- An unforgivable insult to the memory of Native
Warriors who have been killed while defending their
People and their traditions,
We call on all persons engaged in selling Shamanships, Vision
Quests and Sweat Lodges to immediately halt this practice.
