A Weekend Of Goddess Workshops

I spent last weekend taking part in two wonderful workshops. The first was called Aphrodite's Healing and the second was about the myth of Demeter and Persephone.
The were both run by Jane Meredith, a priestess of the Goddess who lives in Australia and the author of Aphrodite's Magic. I loved her book, which I reviewed on my blog last year, and I eagerly signed up to both workshops as soon as I heard that Jane was in the UK this September.
Both of the events were wonderful - and I'll be writing a full review of both in the near future. However, I thought I post a brief recommendation of her workshops before she leaves the country because there is still time to hear her talk or take part in a two-day event.
On Thursday, 15 September, Jane will be giving an evening talk called Walking with the Goddess at Airy Fairy, 239 London Road, Sheffield. If you want to attend, email anwen@airyfairy.org.
Then, next weekend, 17 - 18 September, Jane is running a two-day workshop for women called Tasting the Pomegranate: Revisioning the Underworld, also in Sheffield. This explores the story of Persephone's descent into the Underworld and how we can use that to examine our own experiences of grief, loss and despair; to learn, grow in power and emerge once more into the sunlight. The cost for the weekend is lb100. To find out more details, visit Jane's website
