Everyday Yoga And What Yoga Means To Me
Yoga's meaning to me is a lifelong spiritual journey that brings together unity between the mind and the body. Yoga provides me with stress relief that is soothing to my mind and it also gives me the workout I need to tone my body. One thing that I noticed is that meditation is a key combination to yoga practices. It enables you to observe your breathing, focus and concentrate fully and understand the importance of the human breath and movement.

Everyone has the capability for self-destruction if things are not balanced, Yoga teaches me that life is a gift and it gives me the strength to face life's challenges. I have done yoga on and off for years and I have not been able to dedicate myself completely and fully until now. I haven't found true focus until now and I realize it is more than strengthening your body with postures; it is however a complete lifestyle change and most of all it is about having discipline within yourself.

I now find myself doing yoga everyday verses one time a week in class. It is the best part of my day and helps me through the day being strong mentally and physically. I developed a new found respect for yoga over the last few months when studying it fully. It is just the beginning of my journey but I know I am on the right path.

One of the additional benefits that I acquired in the last few months while practicing and learning yoga is knowing and understanding that your body is a temple and I now know to take great thought and observation of what I put into my body. Going back to discipline, I have noticed the changes within my body and within myself, thinking one day I can use this and help others find a more full and beneficial life style and in turn to me that will bring me the most satisfaction in my true soul searching quest.

In conclusion, this experience has been an awakening to something much bigger. I have always known was in me but I just didn't have the right knowledge, tools and perseverance with the drive to continue what I know has been one of the best decisions of my life. I am thankful and grateful that I have dedicated myself fully to yoga and look forward to what each day has to offer me because I know I will be able to handle whatever the day brings because I will be prepared for it mentally, physically and emotionally with my yoga practices. I feel I found a key element a stamp a staple in my life now, a happiness I never knew I'd miss so much because I never experienced it in its true form. I learned we are all a union, a force, energy and the universe. I know this will always be a true part of me now. This will be a practice that I will continue to strive to perfect for many years, to live in a much more fruitful, beneficial and blissful life that is true to my nature.
