We are in a powerful movement forward and upward. You might question all that you have known, including what you know about Ascension and how you are traversing through life. This may very well leave you feeling confused or lost. However, if you can trust that all is unfolding in Divine Order, and let go of the need to know what, why or how, and stay in the Moment, you will be just fine. Much is disintegrating including your desire to put things in a category/label and your desire to be a part of something.

Certainly one of the biggest shifts is that of belonging; whether that belonging is to be a part of a like-minded group, a family, friends or whatever makes you feel less alone. I can tell you that the reason so many have felt alone is because it is important to realize that you are "not" alone, but a part of something bigger than the group mindset. It's a big shift that is essential. Realize that you are not alone, but a part of something "universal"; rather than worldly.

We can only ascend on our own in order to anchor our spiritual sovereignty and Authentic Self. The sense of needing to belong somewhere actually limits you and limits your Unity Consciousness. Be discerning about any group you join; go deeper and ask yourself why you want to. In fact, be discerning about anything you are drawn to do and/or be a part of.

We all must step into our own Power and the present energy is helping us do just that. Remember when I shared about the Sirian Universal Merkabah back in July? That Merkabah is amping up in energy, and since we are receiving this even higher Light now, we are being taken to a whole new level. The Merkabah has been steadily activated with every Gateway, Full and New Moon and Eclipses. It's huge energy now and asks that we let go of what we "think" we know and be empty in order to receive this Light.

I posted something on my Facebook Community Page about this a few days ago, not really knowing what the energy was, but simply sharing how it felt. The energy of the Universal Merkabah has been ongoing and has increased in Source Power, so you may feel more sensitive and your body may be adjusting. A few days ago, when I connected to the energy, my ear-ringing took on a whole new level...it was so loud! This often happens when there is a new level of Light energy flowing through. And your body often tells you when this happensin its unique way.

As part of this amping up, threes are very prevalent. Three is a beautiful number and symbolizes Joy and Creativity. This is a message that not only are we in touch with the Trinity and Merkabah (32=6), we are asked to have our Soul speak to us through Creativity and Joy. Of course, when one is creative; no matter the form; they are connected with Soul and thus experience high Joy.

Doing so raises us up in God/Christ Consciousness, activates our Soul's DNA (which rests within our physical DNA), and our Souls are merging with and as us...as we allow our entire past go and all that we think we know. Also, go beyond what you know the Trinity to be. For me the Trinity is Source/Soul/Me; One. The New Trinity is not separate aspects; it is the sacred geometric shape of One.

Trust that you are led by Soul. This means that any plans you make "may" not be honored, for all is in Divine Order. When your desire is manifest, it is aligned with Soul. The only thing you can do is trust that Soul knows what It's doing. If things seem to be on hold, perhaps there is more old to let go of. Truly, the only thing to do is to surrender to the Moment. Soul already knows your deepest desires.

If there is any attachment to what you want, it probably will not come to pass. Attachment to form is another big thing to let go of and replace it with Divine Order and Divine Time. Take a look at your life. Realize that whatever is present right now is meant to be there for your highest evolution. If you don't like it, see what lesson/gift is there for you to integrate, accept and/or release. If you are in judgment of something, this is attaching to it and until you can allow it to be, it will not evolve into something New.

Yes, we are evolving in this cycle; more than we have ever before. Do you feel it? It will be different for each of you. It doesn't matter how it manifests; whether you are just waking up or whether you've been on this Path for years; know this: it is an expansion of your Christed Self; the leader in you. No longer are you a sheep, following whatever beckons you. Being Christed means you follow your "own" Heart. It means to be fully awake, aware of yourself 100% and of others. It means that you can see what still needs release and it is to not try, hope, or wish things were different. It is to be in full Acceptance of where you are.

It means you are detached from personal desire as well as what others are doing, including your closest connections. It means you are in Acceptance of each moment; not wishing it was done with or different. Being Christed means you see the gift in everything and you do not judge anything or anyone as good/bad, smart/dumb, awake or asleep, etc; for these are all of 3D duality and being Christed is only of Oneness, with no opposites; no Light and dark. Being Christed is to be in Acceptance of What Is.

As part of this powerful time, you have an opportunity to release all past lives, including your lineage. You have an opportunity to let go of deep cultural beliefs; this frees you from the 3D matrix, which holds you back in the old. Ask yourself about Christmas. Is it a cultural belief that you follow because it is expected of you or?

As you continue to release the old, you will notice that your life will be very different. Welcome! You are creating the New. See how simple it is? You let go and the New fills you up with Love. Know that your Heart Center is the core (Coeur) of you. It is where the Angels, Ascended Masters and Soul speak to you. It is so important to meditate within the Heart Center. It is the Gateway to higher dimensions and your Christed Self. As your Heart is activated, as it is now, you may feel heart palpitations (or butterflies in the heart), a sense that your Heart is expanding or even being squeezed. This focus on the Heart is why you feel more sensitive and are more intuitive. The Heart is clear; it is not wounded or hurt or broken. It is the home of Soul; therefore, the Heart is pure and strong. It is the purpose of the Solar Plexus to handle emotions and perceived pain...in order to keep the Heart clear.

As you focus on your Heart, you empower your Christed Self. Your feeling-sense is enhanced, as you let go more of your intellect-sense. Your separate ego thus becomes more your unified ego; that of being the Soul's vehicle for expression. As you align with the vibration of the Heart, it becomes easier to let go of anyone/anything that does not similarly vibrate. Certainly, to be Christed is to have everything within you and around you be congruent, is it not?

Allow yourself to rise, evolve and Be your Christed Whole Self. It is OK to let go of anything that does not resonate with you; in fact, it's imperative. It takes great Courage to do so and you are so very honored as you commit to being all, in Truth, that you are...and keep it simple. The more complicated things are, the more your Vision and Heart are foggy. May you be profoundly blessed during this powerful time.

Elder Seraphim Tyapochkin And The Astonishing

Elder Seraphim Tyapochkin And The Astonishing Miracle Of St Nicholas
Archimandrite Seraphim (Tyapochkin) was born on 1/14 August 1894 in a pious noble family. The infant was called Dimitry and was the last child in the large and amicable family of the Tyapochkins. At the age of seven Dimitry was prematurely accepted into a religious institute. From a young age the boy felt God's summons and his priestly calling.

In 1911, having received his parents' blessing, Dimitry entered a religious seminary, and in 1917 he continued his studies at the Moscow Spiritual Academy. After the Academy was closed down in 1919, Dimitry Tyapochkin moved to Yekaterinoslav, where he was married and became ordained as a deacon and later a priest. These were the years of the godless Soviet rule's harshest battle with the Church. Everywhere sacred objects were profaned, churches and monasteries were destroyed, the clergy was persecuted. In 1933 Father Seraphim's beloved wife died, and in 1941 he was arrested and condemned to 10 years of concentration camps. Father Seraphim's path of suffering began in one of the camps in Kazakhstan. Father Seraphim did not like to talk of his life in camp, but it became known from his relatives that while he was in the camp, he continued his service as a faithful pastor of Christ's Church, led spiritual discussions with the prisoners, baptized new converts, confessed them, gave burial rites to the dead. All of this was strictly forbidden by the camp administration, and violation of the rules led to incarceration, from which one could often not return alive. Therefore, all services were held in the strictest secret from the administration. The prisoners themselves sang the services. They also prepared priestly vestments for Father Seraphim out of towels, and embroidered them with crosses. During these years in the camp Father Seraphim felt himself like a chalice, which was gradually, drop by drop, filling up with grace-filled love for God and others. At the same time his heart was becoming filled with simplicity and childish innocence. This was felt by all the prisoners who were in contact with him, even the most hardened criminals, and all of them trusted him completely.

After ten years of camp, before regaining freedom, the investigator asked Father Seraphim: "What are you planning to do when you are free?" Father Seraphim replied: "I will continue serving as a priest, just as I have up to now." - "Well, in that case," decided the investigator, "stay for a while yet." And Father Seraphim was sentenced to another five years and sent into exile in the Krasnoyarsk region.

After being freed from camp in 1955, Father was taken into the Kuybyshev diocese by its Bishop Jeronimus. In 1956 there occurred an event which shook the entire Orthodox world - the famous "Zoya's stand." Let us briefly bring back to mind that miracle.

A certain Zoya (or Zoe), who was a worker at a pipe factory, decided to celebrate New Year's Eve with her friends. Her religious mother was against merriment during Christmas Lent, but Zoya did not heed her. All the friends gathered, and only Zoya's fiance Nikolai was delayed somewhere. The music played, the young people danced, and Zoya alone had no pair. Mad at her fiance, Zoya took down an icon of St. Nicholas and said: "Since my Nicholas is not here, I will dance with St. Nicholas." At her girlfriend's counsel not to do it, Zoya arrogantly replied: "If there is a God, let Him punish me!" With these words she began dancing. At the third round the room became filled with great noise, a whirlwind appeared, a blinding light struck like lightning, and everyone ran out of the room in fear. Only Zoya remained rooted to the spot with the icon of St. Nicholas clamped to her breast, petrified and cold as marble.

She could not be moved from the spot, and her feet seemed to have grown into the floor. However, despite the lack of outward signs of life, Zoya was alive: her heart continued beating. From that time on she could neither drink, nor eat. The doctors applied all possible effort, but could not bring her to her senses. News of the miracle quickly spread all over the city, and many people came to look at Zoya's stand. But after a while the city administration suddenly realized what was happening, and all approaches to the house were barred, a police guard was put around the building, while the curious and visitors were told that there was no miracle and nothing had happened there at all.

The guard detail that stood at Zoya's post heard her cry out at night: "Mother! Pray! We are perishing in our sins! Pray!" Medical investigation confirmed that the young woman's heartbeat had not ceased despite the petrification of her tissues (they could not even give her any shots - all the needles broke off). All invited priests, after finishing their prayers, were unable to take the icon out of her frozen hands. But on the feast of Christ's Nativity Father Seraphim (then still Dimitry) came, served a moleben, and blessed the entire room. After that he took the icon out of Zoya's hands and said: "Now we must wait for a sign on the Great Day (i.e. Pascha)."

Before the feast of Annunciation a certain old man of noble appearance asked the guard to let him through. He was refused. He appeared on the next day, but the next shift did not let him through either. On the third day, on the very day of the feast, the guard did not detain him. The guards on duty heard the old man say to Zoya: "Well now, are you tired of standing?" Some time passed, but the old man did not come out. When they looked into the room, he could not be found (all the witnesses were sure that it was St. Nicholas himself who had appeared).

Zoya stood for 4 months, until the very day of Pascha. In the night of the bright Resurrection of Christ, Zoya loudly cried out: "Pray! It is terrible, the earth is burning! All the world is perishing in sin! Pray!" From that time she began to come alive, her muscles became softer, more pliable. She was laid in bed, but she continued to cry out and ask everyone to pray for the world perishing in sin and for the earth burning in iniquity.

By the prayers of St. Nicholas the Lord showed mercy upon her, accepted her repentance, and forgave her sins... All that happened so amazed the inhabitants of Kuybyshevo and its environs that many people turned to faith.

After Father Seraphim took the icon from Zoya, he was arrested. He spent two years in prison. He was forbidden to tell anyone of taking Zoya's icon, and after his term ended he was sent to serve in a distant village. However, a great flow of pilgrims continued to arrive there, wishing to venerate this miraculous icon, which always stood in the church where Father Seraphim served. After a while the authorities demanded that the icon be removed, and it was transferred to the altar.

In 1960 protopriest Dimitry Tyapochkin was tonsured into monasticism with the name of Seraphim, and the following year hieromonk Seraphim was made an abbot. At first no one came to the services in his village church, sometimes only two or three old women. The walls of the church were covered with frost, and snow fell from above. It was obviously necessary to begin repairs, find people, resources, materials. But Father Seraphim did not make any visible efforts to engage in reconstructive work. Except for daily prayer. And gradually help came. The Lord sent donors, helpers, builders, - all that was necessary.

Father Seraphim loved church services and was piously strict in following church rules. In the altar the elder stood with great awe and always served the liturgy in a pious condition. Father Seraphim considered sermons to be an integral part of the service and constantly preached in church. He spoke feelingly and with heartfelt conviction. To each listener was revealed that which was necessary to him at the moment. During confession Father Seraphim helped people open up their souls with all sincerity. He knew from experience that without help from above a person cannot offer true penitence to God, and so he himself, often with tears, quietly pleaded with God to send the grace of penitence to the sinners.

The Lord granted Father Seraphim a peaceful and blessed Christian end. He reposed in the Lord on April 19 (the 6th by the old calendar), 1982, on the second day of Christ's bright Resurrection.

Interview With Chni Lele Author

Interview With Chni Lele Author Of Teachings Of The Santera Gods
"I recently had the wonderful opportunity to chat with 'Och'a'ni Lele, the author of the soon-to-be published book Teachings of the Santer'ia Gods: The Spirit of the Odu", to learn a bit more about his book, his perspective on spiritual topics and what wisdom the Santer'ia Gods can teach us.

Dr. E.: First, I'd like to thank you for taking time to stop by my blog and chat with my readers. You've written a book titled "Teachings of the Santer'ia Gods", forthcoming by Destiny
'OCH'aNI: Dr. E., I'd like to thank you for hosting me on my virtual blog tour! When I first found this religion one of the things that intrigued me were the stories, the sacred myths known as patak'is. They were vibrant, powerful, filled with drama and intrigue. I'd always loved mythology and folktales. I grew up reading about Greek, Roman, and Egyptian mythology, and when I was quite young I remember hiding in my bed with a flashlight (so my parents wouldn't know I was up) reading the original tales from the Brothers Grimm. But these were stories from ancient times that had no connection with the present. The people who knew the Grimm tales were long dead, and the civilizations that worshipped the Greek, Roman, and Egyptian gods stood in ruins. The orishas, however, were alive and well; and their worshippers had an unbroken chain to an ancient past. I was amazed.

While other aleyos and aborishas were asking their godparents, "What eb'os does Osh'un like? What is Osh'un like? Tell me how many roads Obatal'a has?" I was asking my godparents (and any priest who would talk to me), "Why doesn't Obatal'a like palm oil? Why doesn't Obatal'a like liquor? Is there a patak'is for that?" Sometimes they would look at me like I was crazy, but sometimes I would actually be told a story. I found that through those brief stories I learned more about the nature of the orisha than any amount of pompous dialogue could teach. And when I learned that almost each and every patak'is was paired with an odu in the dilogg'un... well... that deepened my understanding of those patterns as well.

But knowledge of these ancient stories is severely lacking in this faith among both initiates and laity. Storytelling seems to be a dying art, and people are starved for this knowledge. I believe that if we don't start writing down the stories we know about the orishas, the odu, and the people who lived and died following the orishas, one day these things will be lost. The death of each elder priest or priestess represents the destruction of an entire folkloric library that simply cannot be rebuilt if these stories are not shared.

DR. E.: Which brings me to this: How did you do the research for your book?

'OCH'aNI: Research for this book has been a lifelong process. It began with my first reading at a very small botanica in Miami, Florida, in 1989. The santero who read me that day preferred to recite patak'is and let his client draw his own conclusions. I made copious notes of every session, and I must have taken the greyhound bus to Miami at least once every two months for a year and a half to be read - not because I needed to be read that much, but because I needed to learn and record the stories he told. Along the way I picked up a few poorly written Spanish pamphlets in the botanicas that spoke of the odu and gave a few poorly written patak'is to go with the signs that were discussed.

With the opening of the internet to the public in the mid 90s came the various newsgroups and chat rooms dedicated to the religion. I made a lot of virtual friendships during those days, and I would spend hours online with various priests and priestesses discussing the myths and stories of this religion. Some of those became real-life friendships, and we traded notes copiously. But I think my greatest resource has been my own godfather. When we first met we spent hours discussing the orishas, the odu, and the patak'is that spoke of both. We still do. I don't think he realizes how much he has taught me since we first met online back in 2000 (or maybe it was 1999?). He is a living, breathing folkloric library.

Also, every time I work the religion, whether I'm divining in my home with other priests present, or if I'm working an ocha in someone's house, or even if I'm doing ceremonies for my own godchildren (with either my godfather or grandfather in ocha working as the oriat'e), each ceremony becomes a chance to not only ask questions and learn, but also to listen to the conversations of others and learn. Every single person in this faith has some knowledge, and when we come together and share we weave this wonderful tapestry of wisdom. I think, by working the religion, I have learned more than any applied study or research I've done.

DR. E.: From what I've gleaned in reading your book, odu is a vast and rich volume of information. What tips do you have for someone starting to learn the meanings of each odu?

"'OCH'aNI: First, while it's been said over and over again that one cannot learn anything of value in this religion by reading a book, I have to argue that those times are changing. They changed in the year 2000 when I published The Secrets of Afro-Cuban Divination - How to Cast the Dilogg'un, the Oracle of the Orishas". My book was the first one in English to speak in any depth of this oracular system; and since that book was published, I've tried to find other So for someone wanting to learn the basics of how to cast the dilogg'un, I would start with that book. It is a step-by-step guide to the process of divination. It shows the apprentice diviner how to properly manage the more heated signs of the dilogg'un; and, it gives detailed directions for closing the session and the odu so osogbo is not left behind in the diviner's home. It is how I read; it is how my godfather reads, and it is how most responsible diviners read.

"For a more in depth study of the dilogg'un and its odu, I'd recommend that students follow up with my volume The Dilogg'un: the Orishas, Proverbs, Sacrifices, and Prohibitions of Cuban Santer'ia." It takes the novice diviner into a higher level of skill with the opening and closing manipulations of the oracle, and it gives more in depth knowledge of the root odu and their accompanying composites. If a student can master the material in both DR. E.: Which of the patak'is in your book is your favorite and why?

'OCH'aNI: It is difficult for me to pick one - so I'll have to pick two stories. My second favorite is the story titled "The Story of Elegede." Unraveling that patak'is took a lot of work, and I detail that process in chapter six of my book: Obara - Six Mouths on the Mat. After the manuscript was edited and finalized for publication, my godfather taught me a second version of that patak'is, and towards the fall I might offer that second version on my blog at Amazon buys in bulk and gets the best deals because of that, so if you're looking for a bargain price check there.

Also, my book was scheduled for release on August 15, 2010, but it looks like it will be available on July 7, 2010. So if you preorder expect your copy a bit early.

And, as always, because I deal with a traditional brick-and-mortar publisher, this book will be available anywhere DR. E.: Again, for my readers, that was 'Och'ani Lele, the author of quite a few

Tarot Tuesday

Tarot Tuesday
I haven't been feeling well since last night, so my post today will be short. Today I did a 5 card spread asking about a friendship that I happen to be dancing around picking up again. These were the cards in order:

3 of Pentacles (R); The Empress; The Sun; The Hierophant (R); Death

This person was a part of my life before I met my husband. In fact, we used to date. The final card, death, is my advice. I need to break away from this person. It's only going to lead to disaster, most likely for my marriage. Deep down, I know that the intentions this man has for me are not really for friendship. He wants me back and I must let him go. The Death card does not always mean "killing" or harm. In this set of cards, I take it to me the letting go of my past. This man is from there and there he must stay.

Demons In The Sanctuary

Demons In The Sanctuary
DEMONS IN THE SANCTUARY (MIRIAM E. BELLAMY, TRAFFORD, 2008)This is a fiction book about the supernatural in the church by a womanwho has served As a leader in several churches. Miriam Bellamyis a former accountant who is now involved in writing and theart community. Currently she resides in Cambridge, Ontario. The book is interesting because, according to some, it sheds lighton a later time in RALPH RUTLEDGE'S MINISTRY when he was a pastorof a church in the Kitchener Waterloo area of Ontario, Canada. A fiction book is often based on the writer's observations of actual events. Nothing in the account can be taken literally, of course. Any discussionof the book must remember that there may be truths about Ralph Rutledgein the book but not everything in the book is true because it is,after all, a work of fiction. My approach to the book will be one of open minded curiosity.Miriam observed Rev. Ralph Rutledge first hand. She was an insider in the church where he was a pastor. When I read the book I will be learning how deeply she and her family were effected by Rutledge. I will be learning about his leadership style, how he worked with the church boards and his financial accountability. One quote from the book: "Resentment over her pastor's misspending was gradually seeping into her awareness, gnawing at her spirit."There will be one thing missing from the book. She cannot say:"This man is Ralph Rutledge." But this we do know, Rutledge waspastor at Good Samaritan Church.

Our author, Miriam Bellamy, was secretary-Treasurer of theboard of Good Samaritan Church. As such it was her job to take minutes of the board meetings of Good Samaritan Church. She transcribed every word of mediation meetings so that the record would be unbiased. She confirms to me that she has comprehensive archival information in her possessionso that the truthfulness of any conclusions I might draw from the book can be confirmed from the records of Ralph Rutledge's behaviour. It sounds like one can learn a lot about Ralph Rutledge by reading "Demons in the Sanctuary." The senior pastor in the DEC. 29, 2009 UPDATE: I have received word from a previous elder at Good Samaritan Church. His report is that Miriam Bellamy's book, Demons in the Sanctuary, "is a good portrayal of what it was actually like."

JANUARY 4, 2010: I will study Demons in the Sanctuary and post in a separate blog: FEBRUARY 22, 2011 ANOTHER CONFIRMATION THAT 'DEMONS IN THE SANCTUARY' IS AN ACCURATE PORTRAYAL OF RALPH RUTLEDGE. I have just had contact from someone who knows the Rutledge family well and is well acquainted with Ralph Rutledge. This source gives testimony that Mariam's book "Demons in the Sanctuary" is an accurate portrayal of Rutledge's character.

This source described Ralph Rutledge to me as a "WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING" - as one who is cunning, prideful and "someone who acts one way for you...and another for someone else. He always plays to his audience."

"It's crystal clear the only reason why you have chosen to discuss this issue, and the man is because his sin is ongoing, and he is a very real threat and danger to other unsuspecting believers. Especially vulnerable young men who are confused and having self identity problems.'

Happy World Book Night 2012

Happy World Book Night 2012
Happy World Book Night everyone!

Yes, I am a giver again this year. On Thursday I went to my local library to pick up my box of 24 This year I am giving away I Capture The Castle by Dodie Smith, one of my all time favourite I Capture The Castle was written in the 1940's by Dodie Smith, who was a famous UK playwright living in America at the time and later went on to write her most famous book, One Hundred And One Dalmatians. While writing this book, Dodie longed to return to England and wrote this book in remembrance of happier times before the war had begun.

"When I think of this book, I often think of Elizabeth von Armin's book, The Enchanted April". Both are truly magical and show how a little love can change your perception and attitude towards life. This was probably the first book I read that would be considered YA, so it seems Dodie Smith was very much ahead of her time.

Similar to last year, I will be spending the day handing out these

Moon And Sea

Moon And Sea
AFTER A LONG TIME OF ABSENCE, I AM HERE... and I ask for your forgiveness, Gods and Goddesses, angels and demons, because I have left this blog so unattended for so long.

Life has been somewhat slow... and maybe the reasons I have not focused my energies on this blog were that I wanted to do some self-inspection and see what the heck was going on inside my soul that seemed to have me in a very sad, very depressed mood. It eventually has started to get clear... and I think that my next road trip will finally put an end to a circle of vices that I want to get rid of. Past lovers, past energies, bad auto-mojo, and clean my aura. I think I've been carrying baggage that does not belong to me for far too long. I want to leave it behind, maybe the Lord of the Sea can help me dispose of it.

Why do we do this? We cling on to things for so long that it comes a time when we can no longer carry them around... and even when we are well aware of it, we still do it. As if it was a curse, or something we are meant to do. This is one of the reasons - I think - that we cannot move on and be happy. Small resentments become big stone crosses, heartbreaks become bitter acid that eats away parts of our souls... True, it is not easy to forget about them and move on... but if we could only apply a small part of that effort (the effort we make to carry around all the bad energy, all the bad memories, the bad spirits) on to healing our souls, hearts and energies... a brighter world would be upon us. So I shall go to the sea, and leave my baggage behind... those who want me to do the same for them, I know you'll know how to find me.

I am thankfull for thy followers to this blog. I will try not to let it alone for so long anymore.

Many Blessings!
