Merry Meet And Bright Blessings

Merry Meet And Bright Blessings
Hello Cauldron,

Thank you for allowing me to join. My you have a lot of rules for a group that must be pretty open minded. ;) I guess there are jerks in all walks of life right? Regardless, I looked through them and they all seemed to make good sense. I'll just be careful not to post any of my pictures here so as they don't become public property.

So... that's my way of saying I actually read the rules. ;)

I've been a solitary practitioner for nearly 20 years. Where I came from before there weren't many books and the internet was just getting going with the general population so I struggled with some of the ideas. After picked up my first WICCAN book I was hooked and understood that I was to follow a more natural path. I have done a dozen or so real rituals in those 20 years but mostly I practice internally with meditation and silly ryhmes (I'm a horrible poet!). I'm a little kitchen witch, a little garden witch, a lot charm and candle magic but mostly I'm just a person who feels the energy of the things around me and I believe it's very important. It is the most important thing. I also think you can control that energy a little. With that control comes great responsiblity and often I find that I'd rather let things play out the way they want to rather than affect certain changes.

Lately I've been having some really strong feelings... the energy is speaking to me. I wish I knew what it needed but I believe that I've been asked to take note. I've also had 3, 4, 5.. and now 7 people who have wanted to do a circle.

I've obliged them and did a new moon ritual almost a month ago with a group of 5 including me. Me, a solitary witch, a male budhist, a native american spiritual with strong interest in fairies who is new on her path, one lost soul, and another woman who was strong into the Native American spirituality. It was an interesting circle and it felt like a fellowhip. I simply called the quadrants and spoke our intentions. My friend smudged and blessed us with sage. Then we say and wrote a list of the things we wanted to achieve and each of us took a turn to read one or more on the list aloud to our circle. It was very pleasant and everyone felt safe physically and emotionally. There was actually a lot of crying and hugging in our circle that evening before we released the guardians and went on our way. I asked them to read thier list daily and think about what their needs mean to them.

On the full moon we created another circle. We ended up pulling in two additional members (one man, one female). For the people who were there for the new moon, I asked them to rewrite their list and save the new copy. The new people I asked to write a new list with the though around what you would like to close or complete in your life. (instead of asking for money, ask for less dept)... that kind of thing. We all again read something from our list and each of us threw our list into the fire and watched it turn to ash and float into the sky. It was VERY cathartic for all of us and I'm getting constant affirmation from all of them that they took it seriously and they tell me what actions they are taking in their life to acheive their heart goals.

While we didn't get toooooo into what a person could actually do with magick, I think we had an extrememly successful gathering and... well... I'm a little worried about it actually. I'm not the heaviest practitioner out there and I feel like I've started something I might not be prepared for. AAAANNNNDDDDD... that's why I'm here. To be around people who can help me help guide myself and my friends.

I've done three devinations (ouiji, taro, and rune) and each one was freakily the same. Love my land and my ground, pay attention to my intuition closely and to learn to trust my instinct, and then to teach or maybe guide.

I'm currently teaching myself the RUNE letters and meanings and am working on making my own wand. I want to use rune magick on it so I've got a lot of studying to do before I commit. I'm close to being able to name them all but I really have no idea if I'm pronouncing some of them right. LOL I'll get them close and then work on the internet to learn to say them correctly. It's been interesting and every once in awhile I get a heart racing "pay attention now" feeling when I'm studying them. I sure wish the pay attention signal was clearer. ;) I want to learn Ogham next.

So, HI! I see I've written a book already. I hope this isn't too much for an introduction but I figured I'd just spill it out. I have a lot of questions, a lot to learn, maybe some to share with you all as well. I don't feel that I'm strictly on the Wiccaan path but it's my heritage and I feel closest to it than anything else I've read. I have German, Irish, and Danish in my blood. I think your ancestry calls you even if you don't know it.

By all the powers of three times three, and as ye will it, so mote it be.

Well Met my new friends, Merry Part. Please try to excuse any missspellings or poor gramar. I tried. ;)

Anna Daanam Or Soru Daanam Which Is Correct

Anna Daanam Or Soru Daanam Which Is Correct
A tele-news from Thuglak (16-07-2008) caught up my eyes.

It was about Prof Nannan's talks on Anna daanam

in his Tamil class, telecast in Makkal TV.

Prof Nannan had said that

it is erroneous to say "Anna daanam vazhanginaar".

The reason he had given was,

it gives rise to questions like,

"annatthai vazhanginaara?"

or "daanatthai vazhanginaara?"

Therefore it is right to say "anna danam seidhar".

The Professor went on to say

that aanam is a Sanskrit word

and therefore can be replaced by the Tamil word, 'sOru'.

and said as Soru - daanam.

But somehow people do not use this term

as they seem to think that

'sOru' is the language of the down-trodden people.

This is the evil result of Varnasrama dharma.

After reading this,

I was at a loss for words.

If this is what a respected Professor of Tamil like Mr Nannan

had known of Tamil and the history of varna dharma,

what to say about the whole lot of others

who claim that they know Tamil very well.

Before going into unraveling the absurdity of these claims,

let me say in brief the following facts.

SOru is not the word of the down-trodden people.

It is the word used even in Sangam literature.

Annam, though a Sanskrit word by origin,

is very much part of Tamil lexicon

and has been given as a synonym to food in

Nigandu or Thesaurus in Tamil.

If there is one thing that binds the people of

all the four varnas and all the ashramas (from brhamchari to sanyasi),

it is this anna daanam.

Even an ascetic depends on anan daanam given by a grahastha.

Now coming to dispute the wish of Prof Nannan that

Annan daanam must be called as sOru daanam,

I have to start from the reasons

why food (aanam) has to be given as daanam.

There are 3 reasons for giving food to others.

(1) As Athithi bhojana, in Pancha Maha yajna.

Every day one can eat food only after giving food to an athithi,

or a traveler, or an unknown person in need of food.

(Details of this in
The mechanism of disease formation is to be found in the food we take.

In the chapter called "Marundu" (medicine
),

Thiruvalluvar treats food as medicine

and lays importance on the nature of food we take

for healthy body.

In the introduction to this chapter,

the renowned commentator of olden times,

'ParimElazhagar' says,

"Pazha vinaiyaanum, kaaraNamgaLaanum,

makkattku vaadam mudaliya pinigaL varum..
"

(translation of the introduction :-

"People get diseases due to past karma and other reasons.

The disease due to past karma will get rectified only after undergoing them.

The other diseases can be treated by food, as they are caused by imbalance of food.")

Since past karma, disease and food are
It is said that it is possible to

reduce the severity of the previous karma to 40%,

by man's efforts and by divine blessings.

"Aasashtam manusham proktham,

saptamat daiva chinthanam
"

Of the remaining 60%,

30% can be resolved by human efforts

and the other 30% by invoking god's blessings.

The human efforts include good deeds to benefit the society

of which anna daanam or daanam of any kind is one,

that is given with sincerity and empathy.

The Divine intervention is facilitated by

poojas, homas, japa and vrathas.

This is as per Jyothisha sastra.

Among the daana, anna daana is the foremost.

This can be understood by etymology of the terms annam and daanam.

Contrary to what Prof Nannan thinks,

there is no substitute for these two words in Tamil.

These two words exist in Tamil lexicon for all times.

To accept this, we must first know that Tamil flourished along with Sanskrit.

As early as 9990 BC Tamil existed as a finely developed written language,

so also did Sanskrit.

The years (9990BC) is derived from Adiyaarkku nallar's explanation of the period

in years for the 3 sangams (4440 +3700+1850 =9990).

Agastheeyam was the grammar book even as early as 9990 BC.

Agastheeyam was considered as 'anaadhi' (having no beginning)

(refer Azhagiya manavala perumal naayanar's "Acharya Hrudhayam" verse 41.

written after the time of Ramanujacharya -

"Chen thirattha thamizh engaiyaalE Agasthiyamum anaadhi"
).

It is also possible to deduce that Tamil was known as Agastheeyam

in those times, owing to Agasthiyar's contribution

in developing the language into written form.

It was the time of Vedic culture in its full bloom

and Sanskrit and Tamil existed together.

The learned were supposed to know both Tamil and Sanskrit

in those days.

In this scenario certain commonalities were inevitable between the two languages

particularly pertaining to veda, vedantha and vedanga practices / terminologies.

That is why the terms annam and daanam which have origin in Sanskrit

were in usage in Tamil without any deviation.

As such these two words (and there are many others too)

are part of Tamil language.

Thiruvalluvar has used them -

"daanam tavam irandum thanga viyanulagam"

(vaan sirappu -9)

Both 'daanam' and 'tavam' in this kuraL are Sanskrit ones

used in the same way in Tamil.

Taking up the root of the word 'daanam',

it is explained in Brihadaaranyaka Upanishad. (5-2.1to3)

The root word is 'da'

The 3 sons of Prajapathi, (devas, manushyas / humans and asuras)

on completion of their Brahmacharya-hood

approaches Prajapathi asking for a piece of advice from him.

To the Devas, he said, 'da' as his advice.

They understood it as "daamyathethi"

It means 'control of the senses'.

Since devas are known for lack of control over indriyas / senses,

they understood 'da' as control of the senses.

By controlling their senses

the devas can prosper.

To the humans, Prajapathi said, 'da'.

Since humans have a weakness in greediness,

they understood it as 'dattha' (give )

Dattha is root word of daanam.

By giving daanam, the humans can prosper.

To the asuras, Prajapathi said, 'da'.

Since asuras have an irresistible tendency to harm others,

they understood it as 'dayathvam' - merciful.

By being kind to others, the asuras can prosper.

Here the 3 sons are personification of human beings only,

with three dominant traits, says Adi shankara in his commentary.

All of us have deva, manushya and asura tendencies.

People are divided into these 3 as

Deva, Manushya and asura Ganas in Gana-p-poruttham

of the dasa-vidha-poruttham

(10 point compatibility for marriage) in astrology.

Devas are those who lack control over their senses -

Indra is foremost among them!

Humans are those who hesitate to give,

and would not part off with their belongings so easily.

Asuras are those who take pleasure in showing cruelty to others.

Overcoming these tendencies require Himalayan efforts

and when one overcomes them, one becomes an elevated one.

Thus 'daanam' is special for humans.

By giving daanam, one reduces the effects of past karma.

Anna daanam has special place among daanams.

It is not 'vuNavu' daanam, nor 'sOru' daanam.

It is anna daanam.

There are many words to denote food in Tamil.

They all have their respective application for usage in a context.

Sutra 22 in chapter 6 of Choodamani nigandu gives

the different words as synonyms of food.

They are

Adisil, bOnakam, mooral,

Amalai, ayini, pommal,

Madai, misai, vuNaa,

Puzhukkal, valsi, paaLitham,

Annam, padam, midavai,

Paatthu, thuttru, vuNdi,

sOndri, pungam, saru,

asanam, vooN, koozh,

vodhanam, puga, sOru.

Though they all denote food,

there is some difference in them.

Adisil means food.

BOnakam is a type of 'appam'.

Mooral is type of eatable made from milk.

Amalai is a huge quantity of food.

This is derived from the word 'amaluthal'

which means 'to gather together in huge quantity'.

Ayini means 'that which is eaten'.

Pommal means 'poliyum' food - that which is good.

Madai is food made for god -

the place where it is made is called as 'madaipali'.

This is found in temples.

Misai means 'very good food that is eaten'.

vuNaa means 'that which is eaten'

Puzhukkal is boiled food.

Non vegetarian food is also known by this name.

Valsi is rice.

paaLitham is the semi-liquid 'kuzhambu'.

Padam means the food that is cooked well.

Midavai is 'uLuttham kaLi' the ball made of urad flour.

Paatthu means 'parukkai' or porridge.

Thuttru means 'kavaLam' or big balls of food.

vuNdi means that which is eaten.

pungam means the food made from a tree 'pungu'

saru means the food made from leaves.

Asanam also is a food made from a tree sap.

vooN is that which is eaten.

Koozh is thick porridge whose contents are smothered well.

Vodhanam means liquid food.

Puga means food that is swallowed

sondri means sOru

sOru means the inner food / sap that is cooked.

These two words, sondri and sOru are used in Sangam texts.

'yEttruga ulaiyE, aakkuga sOrE' (Puranaanuru - 172)

(boil the water, make sOru)

'Varagin sondriyodu perum sittrur' (Puranaanuru - 197)

Varagu is a grain.

Here it is said varagin sondri.

It means the food / sap contained in the grain is sondri.

This sondri is another name for sOru.

sOru also means the food / sap contained in something.

The sap is known as sOru.

But the word annam has a unique meaning.

It does not mean food!

It means that which eats and which is eaten!

The derivation of this word is from Sanskrit.

It is explained in Taittriya Upanishad. (2-2)

"AdhyathE atthi" -

therefore it is annam.

This means,

'beings grow from it,

it grows from beings.
'

Therefore it is annam!

The food that goes into body- building is annam.

This gives rise to the 'anna-maya-kOsham'-

the basic physical structure for the body.

Not all food goes into body building.

but annam does that.

That is why the mother is known as 'annai' in Tamil.

She feeds the child so that it grows.

The annam that is given as daanam

must therefore be a balanced and rich food

that will become body parts in the eater.

This daanam is not given just to offset hunger,

or to give strength to do work.

The food must be rich enough to build the body.

This term annam denoting this, has no substitute in Tamil.

That is why annam is part Tamil lexicon

indicating this meaning.

Usually anna daanam is done at the end of some pooja or propitiation of devathas.

Once after the devathas are satisfied,

humans must be satisfied to the level

that the food they are given

must transform into

Anna-maya-kOsha - the physical sheath of the being.

Therefore it is 'anna- daanam' only -

not sOru daanam.

Since daanam means giving, one can not 'give' daanam.

One can do daanam.

In Tamil it is apt to tell

'anna daanam seidhaar'.

This is certainly not for the reasons that Prof Nannan had said

(in the beginning of this post)

What Is Daoshadru

What Is Daoshadru
Daoshadru is a spiritual path of "Quantum Magick", not a religion. It is a way of integrating diverse ways of spirituality for those who simply can not follow a singular, exclusive or fundamentalist path. Within this method there are three "Schools": Internal, External and Eternal. Each school provides a range of techniques for healing, self-empowerment, divination, magick and the attainment of spiritual enlightenment.

INTERNAL SCHOOL

The "Internal School" is self relient with the practitioner's own mind, body and spirit as the source of power. It draws upon various forms of self-discipline such as Qi Gong, Tai Ji Chuan, Yoga and various forms of Meditation. Much of this school's practices and beliefs are from Daoism/Taoism, hence the first three leters in the name DAOshadru.

EXTERNAL SCHOOL

The "External School" is nature relient with the earth, sky, elements and animals as the source of power. It draws upon various forms of the Tribal Medicine Man (Mostly Cherokee native American) such as Ancestrialism, Totemism, Herbalism, Soul Retrieval, Vision Questing and various forms of Animism. Much of this school's practices and beliefs are from Shamanism, hence the second set of three leters in the name DaoSHAdru.

ETERNAL SCHOOL

The "Eternal School" is faith relient with the belief in divine gods, goddesses and spirits and coreponding other-worldly realms as the source of power. It draws upon various forms of ritualism such as invocation, evocation, channeling and various magickal rites. Much of this school's practices and beliefs are from Celtic Druidism, hence the last three leters in the name DaoshaDRU. Everyone in this "Grove" (Temple) can share a belief in honoring "The Seven", which are actualy a set of generic dieties evolved eclecticly from global spirituality; Great Spirit, Earth Mother, Sky Father and The Spirits of the Four Winds.

Although it has components from three languages, Daoshadru can be roughly translated to mean "Way of Spiritual Passage".

Each individual member seeks out and chooses from the infinite diversity of earth's religious and cultural mythologies to find dieties to worship, serve and adore. In the end each grove member maintains personal autonomy yet still enjoys the benefits of belonging to a group within the unity of a temple

Sakar Murlis The Dilemma Of Eternal Revisions

Sakar Murlis The Dilemma Of Eternal Revisions
Gyan, this knowledge is amazing. As I mentioned many times; there is nothing like it when "revolved" in our minds and seeing its connectivity with life. It is Godly knowledge which is able to transform souls without the need of Gurus, expensive trips to ashrams, latest "self-help"
Somehow many words have been used without an adequate translation which sometimes come across as "strong" and reminds me of the "catholic inquisition" times. When I hear that, I know that something is not "ticking" right. Now, things will escalate when that same translation into English is translated from there into other languages. We are not dealing necessarily with Hindi speakers translating the Murli into, let us say, Spanish; but we have usually a non-native English speaker translating that Murli into Spanish.

This game of translation will have a consequence if the language used in the original Murli is controversial.

The other issue is that the original Sakar Murlis have been 'cut down' and fitted into a nice 3 pages long Murli, where some phrases which may be considered "politically incorrect" to translate; have been left out. What we have left in the postings shared here from the actual Murli, is usually the "answer" to the question.

The essence for Dharna is an interpretation based on the Murli. Many times that interpretation is "black or white," using language such as "never, only, you must, etc." Commandments. Imposition. Orders.

Sakar Murlis have a force and magic, but at the same time; we cannot forget that it was meant for a culture different than western culture (and even current Indian culture) at a different time. Times have changed. There is greater diversity, greater entropy. Sakar murlis have deep points of knowledge which have not been fully "churned" yet, just to support current devotional behavior, traditions.

The paradox being to "break the traditional socio-cultural belief of that time- 1940's" just to "settle down into the traditional devotional patterns of to-day." This is interesting to note.

However, we have Avyak Murlis at this time.

BapDada is speaking those Murlis with the awareness of the time. There is extreme gyan in those avyakt Murlis which will help us in our current efforts. At the same time, BapDada does a great job incorporating those devotional, bhakti elements which are needed in the Indian culture (which are the majority of BKs, anyway.) Because of that simplicity and depth which is biased-free, I feel that according to times, there is a lot to be learned from those Murlis. Usually the "blessing" and "slogan" from a Sakar Murli are the points which a soul will remember...and that comes from an Avyakt Murli!

My point is, if it is possible to get those points of Gyan form an Avyakt Murli as it is starting to happen now (we are getting 2 short avyakt murlis every Sunday) that I feel is a great idea to start incorporating "newness" according to time. Those 1975 Avyakt Murlis shared so far, have deep points not found at any other place.

It is my "unlimited" wish to see more such Murlis at least 2 times per week.

Why?

Because, current gyan is there. The "drills" which Baba wants us to practice are there. Subtle efforts are spelled out there (such as concentration on the dot, pure wishes, service through the mind, the avyakt stage, etc.) which are not available in the Sakar Murli.. and, the ability to extend these teachings to a worldwide audience without restrictions.

May our awareness of the need according to time be greater than our love for traditions.

How To Use Spiritual Oils

How To Use Spiritual Oils And Magical Ritual Items In Vodou Voodoo And Voudou
"An Easy How-To Perform Magical Rituals Primer by Mambo Michele & The Root Queen!"

This is the section for all of our customers to learn more about using magical ritual items, candles, oils, and more. We are happy to provide some basic understanding of how to effectively use spiritual items to assist you in your spiritual work. Please read this section carefully if you are planning on purchasing any of our Voodoo dolls, magical fetishes, ritual candles, ritual powders, spiritual ritual oils & elixirs.

HOW TO USE SPIRITUAL OILS these handcrafted items go quite a long way due to the quality of the ingredients. Manufactured oils seem to have a satisfactory level of effectiveness even though one can never be sure of the actual contents of the bottle. Spiritual oils can be used in many ways. Here are but a few examples:

* They can be worn as a scent for spiritual purpose, like our Magical Perfume Elixirs

* They can be wiped onto the person whom one wishes to influence, like our Flames of Passion Ritual Oil

* They can be used to "dress" a candle, like our Voodoo Ritual Oils

* They can be used for Spiritual Cleansing Products like our Vodou Bath Liquids or Voudou Ritual Bath Kits

* They can be used in cleansing, love drawing or protection bath salts, like our Goddess Bath Salts products

* They can be used in a work lamp, the bend or influence another

* They can be used in conjunction with other magical items to create a focal point for the work

Spiritual oils that are worn as perfume are for very specific purposed. For example, wearing a Come to Me oil or Seduction Oil is intended to attract love or a certain lover. Wearing a Commanding Oil is intended to help the wearer command the person or situation s/he intends. Renew Oil is to calm and heal, Abundance Oil is to draw wealth and prosperity, Road Opening oil is intended to clear up the problems in your path, and so on.

If the spiritual oil and elixirs are already hand-crafted for specific spiritual purpose, please just apply like you would any perfume or fragrance and FOCUS on why you are wearing that spiritual oil to help bring about your desires.

Similarly, one can surreptitiously wipe the oil(s) onto the person one wishes to influence such as with our Flames of Passion or Come to Me Oils. To do this, subtly dab a bit on the person you are trying to influence.

HOW TO DRESS AND WORK WITH RITUAL CANDLES

* Dressing a candle or a "light," as they care called in New Orleans, is not a complicated matter. If using a jar candle (a.k.a. 7 day Candle), carve the name of the person whom one wishes to influence into the wax, pour the oil(s) on top while making the petition for one's desire. Simply dressing a candle, however, does not ensure the success of one's endeavor. The candle (now a focal point) must be "worked," that is to say that each day one must talk with one's spirit about the issue.

* When working with ritual candles (figure, cat, skull, etc.), ritual oils and ritual powder you must first carve the purpose or name of the person you are trying to influence into the correct ritual candle or place your petition underneath the candle on some natural paper (parchment, fiber paper, etc.) Pour the Ritual Oil on your hands and rub together, then sprinkle the ritual powder on top of the oil on your hands, rub your hands together and pat this mixture on the actual candle each day you go to perform ritual work. This allows for the most powerful and effective results.

* Oil lamps are used a good deal in Haitian Vodou, they combine many elements such as spiritual oils, wicks, powders and sacred herbs, etc. They are an excellent tool for focusing the Lwa's and one's own energy on one objective. Spiritual oils are used as an ingredient in the lamps to help influence the situation. We can customize Spiritual Work Lamps for any need, simple contact us at webmistress@erzulies.com with your details.

HERE'S A SIMPLE CANDLE WORK TO DRAW LOVE:

Get a red or pink candle and carve the name of the person you desire all over the candle. Rub the candle with Come to Me, Ezili Freda Love Oil, or Love Drawing Oil. After the candle is well covered with oil, take a piece of wax paper or plastic wrap and spread it out big enough to roll the candle on the paper. Sprinkle the wax paper with love powder, catnip, crushed red rose petals, and bergamot. Roll the candle in the powder and herbs until it is well covered. Make your prayers and light the candle. Pray over the candle each day to ask spirit to help you get the one you love.

Please review the detailed copy for each item in our Magical Ritual Items Section to browse the best candles, spiritual oils and ritual powders for your spiritual needs.

HOW TO USE MAGICAL FETISHES you can use the spiritual oils and powders that are included in some of our ritual kits or with your favorite oils or scents. Also, you want to personalize your fetish with your favorite charms, sample of your hair, favorite colors, photo, etc. to connect the spirit to you.

Consistency in using the magical fetish, gris-gris or Voodoo doll is very important as well, you want to use it each day until your petition is granted with prayers, talking to spirit, focusing on the changes you are seeking and meditative time to help facilitate these changes. Place your magical item somewhere special in your home to have access to the spirit anytime you need additional divine intervention.

Gray Magic

Gray Magic
Gray magic is a term used to describe magic not performed entirely for beneficial, ethical or spiritual purposes, yet not malevolent either. It is seen as falling in a continuum between white and black magic.

According to D. J. Conway, practitioners of White Magic avoid causing any form of harm, even for positive outcomes, such as in stopping people committing evil deeds, energies or entities; Gray Magic incorporates all the beneficial purposes of white magic, but also works towards ridding the world of evils. Still, Ann Finnin states that many practitioners of gray magic employ the term because of its vagueness, to avoid having to consider ethical questions.

A rather different meaning to the term was given by Roy Bowers, an influential British witch of the 1960s. For him, it was a technique of baffling, bewildering, and mystifying everyone he met in order to gain power over them, since by doing so he was always more sure about them than they were about him. In his article entitled Genuine witchcraft is Defended, Bowers says the following,

"One basic tenet of witch psychological grey magic is that your opponent should never be allowed to confirm an opinion about you, but should always remain undecided. This gives you a greater power over him, because the undecided is always the weaker. From this attitude much confusion has probably sprung in the long path of history.

Wicca Vs Witchcraft

Wicca Vs Witchcraft
Wicca and Witchcraft are not the same thing. Wicca is a form of Witchcraft, just as Mormon is a form of Christianity. Not all Christians follow Joseph Smith's book of Mormon, just as not all people who practice forms of Witchcraft are Wiccan.

Where does this misconception, that all Witchcraft is Wicca stem from? Authors and people just new to Wicca, the Occult, Witchcraft, and so on. Just like when you hear born again Christians, the new entry ones who don't know jack about their own religion, going around saying "if it wasn't for Jesus, you wouldn't be here." my response "umm, no... if it wasn't for God I wouldn't be here. The Christ and God are two different things my deluded friend." You usually hear new Wiccans saying, they stole this, and this is ours and that's ours. Pretty much every religion that's not Christian, that worships a Goddess of one form or another has to be some form of the Original Wicca.

How does this misconception come about? Well I will show you, via quoting a book:

Soraya's Book of Spells, page 25 under "Is Wicca a new religion" and the quote is as follows:

"Wicca or paganism is not a religion at all. Wicca is a Goddess based belief system that can be dated back 25,000 years."

Now I will pull this apart, just to show you the problems with this quote.

1. "Wicca or paganism" - The terms Wicca and Paganism, just like the terms Wicca and Witchcraft, are not one in the same. Wicca is merely a form of Neo-Paganism. The modern definition for the word Pagan, is someone that is not of the mainstream faiths, which are "Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Hindi". I'm pretty sure the Zoroastrians don't follow Wiccan practices, and their a pagan religion.

2. "is not a religion at all." - Well in one part she is right, Paganism is not a religion, it's a term to define a whole lot of religions, but Wicca itself is a religion. Though in the Gardnerian Book of Shadows it says you are supposed to not claim Wicca as a religion, rather say all witchcraft is evil. The structure of Wicca itself, is what classes it as a religion.

3. "Wicca is a Goddess based belief system" - NO! *SLAP* NO! BAD MONKEY! Wicca is not just Goddess based, sure there were, and probably still are, the feminist Dianic Wiccans who removed the God, for what ever reason, but I don't consider it Wicca, so it is not of too much concern. Why not? because Wicca was about balance, and its main representation of this was in its deities. Having a High Priestess and High Priest, who was the High Priest meant to be acting out in the Great Rite, if there was no male deity. All summed up: Wicca has a Goddess and a God. Not just one or the other.

4. "that can be dated back 25,000 years." - Really? Wow... 25,000? Really? I'm pretty sure the 1950's weren't that long ago. Gerald Gardner created Wicca in the 1950's just after the laws against Witchcraft in England were lifted. He claimed his religion "Wicca" to be from a secret Witch Cult which survived the burning times and so on. The Scholars then took to Wicca, and pulled it to pieces finding the truth about this, apparently "Old" religion, finding his texts to be influenced by English and Celtic Folk-lore, the Enochian system of John Dee, Thelema, the Golden Dawn, Stregaria, Tantric Yoga, the King James Version of the Holy Bible and even Kipling. The rest was made up by him as he went along, and was estimated to be wrote between 1949 and 1961.

I know this really rips the undies of new Wiccans. Their eyes unwillingly pried open, trust me it hurts, it happened to me. I spent six months researching what I believe to be Wicca only to find a website, which no longer exists called "WhyWiccansSuck" it broke my heart, but as I researched its claims, I quickly found it to be true.

Listening To Blackfriars

Listening To Blackfriars

By Nancy Bilyeau

"Catherine, queen of England, come into the court!"

It was the third call made by the crier, commanded by Henry VIII to stop the queen from leaving the tribunal court convened to inquire into the legality of their 20-year marriage. On that day, June 21, 1529, before a vast room occupied by two scarlet-clad cardinals, nobles of the realm and a throng of spectators, Catherine threw herself at the feet of the man who was desperate to divorce her in order to marry another woman.

Immortalized by Shakespeare, Queen Catherine said:

Sir, I desire you do me right and justice; and to bestow your pity on me; for I am a most poor woman, and a stranger; born out of your dominions; having here no judge indifferent, nor no more assurance of equal friendship and proceedings. Alas, Sir, in what way have I offended you? What cause hath my behavior given to your displeasure, that thus you should proceed to put me off, and take your good grace from me? After finishing her entreaty to an embarrassed and unmoved husband, Catherine rose, ignored the crier, saying, "It matters not, this is no indifferent court for me. I will not tarry." And she left. When the queen reached the sight of the crowd of commoners gathered outside, they cheered for her, the sound of it wafting into the chamber she'd left behind.

It is an unforgettable scene, one that has shaken and moved me each time I read Catherine of Aragon's plea to be spared such a humiliating rejection. Perhaps it was the draw of such high drama-the cheers and cries and arguments of The Great Matter-that led me to search that section of London for the place where the royal confrontation took place: Blackfriars. But there is another reason too.

In my novels, "The Crown" and "The Chalice", I write the stories through the eyes of a Dominican novice who lives at the priory of Dartford, in Kent. It was the sole house of Dominican sisters in the kingdom. But the largest male Dominican establishment in England-and one of the most prestigious in all of Europe-was the monastery of friars dubbed Blackfriars. In its vast complex, the upper frater building, 110 feet long and 52 feet wide with two-foot-thick stonewalls, had a second-storey room called the Parliamentary Chamber. Many important sessions of government were held there.

It's natural to be surprised that a friary would possess such a chamber; the medieval monarchs' respect for the large monastic orders-Dominicans, Benedictines, and Franciscans-is not much written about. The first followers of St Dominic arrived in England in 1221. Over the next 50 years, their influence, and their numbers, grew as, pledged to humility and poverty, they stayed in various churches. They were nicknamed "Blackfriars" because of the color of their robes.

Edward I

Edward I was the principal patron of the new Blackfriars friary in London. He made a gift of 200 marks in 1280 to raise the church; construction of all the buildings-cloister, frater, infirmary, chapel, dormitory, vestry, buttery, brewery-lasted at least 20 years. King Edward took its creation so seriously that he extended the western perimeter wall of the city of London so the friars could have more room. Their property extended from the Thames River to Ludgate; the friars, moreover, were not answerable to the mayor or any governmental officials of the city. They were a city within the city.

After the work was finished, King Edward I conducted state business in Blackfriars and even slept there on occasion. Did nights spent on a friar's pallet afford more peace for Edward Longshanks, the Hammer of the Scots? Perhaps.

The Dominicans were grateful to their patron, so much so that they staunchly defended his son, Edward II, when no one else did. After Edward II was deposed by his French wife and her allies, the Blackfriars were distrusted and blamed for a time and had to go into hiding.

Edward II coronation

There are no more instances of Dominicans' dangerous interference with political affairs. On the property, houses were built and lent to those not affiliated with the friars. It became a fashionable place to live, known for its gardens. Sir William Kingston retired to Blackfriars precinct after his years of service managing the Tower of London, dealing with such prisoners as King Henry's second wife, Anne Boleyn. The Parr family also had a house in Blackfriars, and Henry VIII's sixth wife, also named Catherine, was born there in 1512.

When the end came in the 1530s and Henry VIII, denied his divorce by Rome, declared himself head of the Church of England, the Dominicans did not martyr themselves, like the Carthusian monks. The prior, John Hilsey, surrendered Blackfriars without any known objection in November 1538. The 15 friars living there were ejected and the friary officially closed. For his cooperation, Prior Hilsey received a pension of 60 pounds for the rest of his life and could stay in prior's lodgings, which included larders, buttery, kitchen, storeroom, cellar, gallery and other parcels.

Blackfriars as Elizabethan playhouse

Throughout the rest of the 16th century, the buildings and gardens of Blackfriars were sold to various courtiers. Large structures were broken up; later, some of the halls were put back together to become a playhouse for Shakespeare and other Elizabeth playwrights. In the Great Fire of London, that building was destroyed.

I knew very well that nothing of Blackfriars remained when I visited London in the summer of 2011 to research my novel, "The Chalice". But it was hard to believe. It had functioned as more than a friary and parliamentary-session house, it was a palace. When Charles V, the Holy Roman Emperor, visited his aunt, Catherine of Aragon, he stayed not in any of Henry VIII's castles but in the guesthouse of Blackfriars.

I bought some historical maps and guide
Tired and hungry, I was about to give up when I heard something very strange on a deserted side street. It was singing, a beautiful hymn of some sort. I followed the sound of their voices to a set of stairs leading up. At the top was a small, leafy courtyard park, and a group of 20 middle-aged men and women gathered, singing. A priest stood by.

I learned that this day, July 26, was St Anne's Day, and they sang to honor her, the mother of the Virgin Mary. I sat on a bench and listened to their program. At twilight, I got up to leave, and saw a scrap of low stone wall and near it a line of centuries' old tombstones on the edge of the park pavement.

They were the graves of friars of the Dominican Order. The Church of St. Anne was built in 1550, twelve years after the surrender, to serve as the house of worship for those still living in the precinct. One thing they did was gather and protect some of the graves.

I had found Blackfriars.

In The Popular Magick Hulk

In The Popular Film Hulk We Learn Just A Little More About The Flag In The Willowlands
"

HULK ( 2003" ) - movie poster.

In THE POPULAR 2003 MOVIE: " HULK " - written by: JAMES SCHAMUS [ that means: " THE SUPPLANTER IS THE VOICE IN THE OCEAN " ], MICHAEL FRANCE [ that means: " THE TRUE VOICE OF GOD IS THE FREE MAN " ], and JOHN TURMAN [ that means: " GOD HAS PROVIDED THE MAN FROM HIS TOWER " ] and directed by ANG LEE [ which means: " THE MESSENGER OF GOD TO THE MEADOW " ] - we have been provided "ANOTHER EXCELLENT PROPHETICAL ALLEGORY". "

It's all in:
" UNDERSTANDING THE CARDS "...

What, you don't believe me? Then, why not just watch THE FOLLOWING MOVIE TRAILER for:
" HULK " - because, ' REAL LIFE IS FAR STRANGER THAN FICTION '. And, in the much grander scheme of things, You Just Might Be Glad That You Did"...

America In Prophecy

THE HULK [ 2003 ] - BY:" ANG LEE"."

HULK: "Is A Prophetical Allegory"

"

Like a big pizza pie:
" THE MOON HITS YOUR EYE "!

You see, dear brothers and sisters, ' THERE IS FAR MORE GOING ON AROUND YOU THAN YOU EVER HONESTLY SUSPECTED '... and, as your own foundations are growing increasingly unstable, The Mighty One Has Already Provided Your Own Pathway Forward
". Alas, however, YOU'LL HAVE TO BE WISE ENOUGH TO ACTUALLY FIND IT. And, goodness knows, it's probably just another: " SMALL LITTLE NEEDLE IN THE HAYSTACK "!

I wonder, where we should be looking... WHAT DO, YOU THINK?

THE CHARACTERS IN HULK [ include ]:

DR. BRUCE BANNER ( aka, BRUCE KRENZLER ) [
" THE HEALER ( OR, EDUCATED ONE ) IS: "THE FLAG IN THE WILLOWLANDS" AND "THE DWELLER AT THE BOUNDARY ]

BETTY ROSS [

THE CAST OF HULK [ includes ]:

ERIC BANA [ " THE ETERNAL RULER IS: "THE SLAYER" AND "ANGEL OF DEATH ]

JENNIFER CONNELLY [
" THE: WHITE, FAIR, AND PURE MINDED ONE - THE VALIANT ONE FROM CONN " ]

SAM ELLIOT [
" THE ONE WHO LISTENS TO GOD; BECAUSE GOD IS HIS LORD " ]

JOSH LUCAS [
" YAHWEH IS SALVATION TO HIS SON ' THE EXTREMELY POWERFUL WOLF ' " ]

NICK NOLTE [
" THE VICTORY TO MY OWN PEOPLE IS THE RULER OVER THE EAGLE " ]

CARA BUONO [
" MY OWN BELOVED FRIEND IS THE BENEVOLENT ONE " ]

CELIA WESTON [
" THE HEAVENLY ONE AND MY CITY OF THE WEST " ]

"

OSCAR DIGGS is :
" THE DIVINE SPEAR HOLDER "!

And, BASED UPON THAT COMBINED INFORMATION we can: Readily Extrapolate
" and/or "Spiritually Decipher" - THE FOLLOWING ACCURATE SPIRITUAL MESSAGE:

" THE HEALER ( or, MY EDUCATED ONE ) is: "The Flag In The Willowlands" and "The Dweller At The Boundary" - because, THE ETERNAL RULER IS MY SLAYER and THE ANGEL OF DEATH. After all, dear children, ' THE ONE PROMISED BY GOD IS THE HEAD OF YOUR LAND AND THE COVERING ' - the: "White", "Fair", and "Pure Minded One" - and, THE VALIANT ONE FROM CONN.

You see, THE ARMY COMMANDER is: "God's Own Gift To Humanity", "His Lightening From Heaven", "The Head Of Your Land", and "Your Own Necessary Capstone" - since, you might as well face it, ' HE IS THE ONE WHO LISTENS TO GOD AND GOD IS HIS LORD '! Indeed, dear children, ' THE IMPORTANT ONE OF THE MEADOW IS MY MESSENGER OF DESTRUCTION '... and, YAHWEH is salvation to HIS OWN SON - "The Extremely Powerful Wolf".

After all, THE HEALER ( or, MY EDUCATED ONE ) is both: "My Beloved One" and "The Flag Over My Own Army" - and, indeed, you shall very soon see that
' THE VICTORY TO MY PEOPLE IS MY OWN RULER OVER THE EAGLE '. Because, THE ONE WHO PROSPERS IN WAR has always invariably been: "The Flag Over My Own Army", "My Own Personal Friend", and "The Benevolent One"!

Meanwhile, of course, THE NEW WIFE TO MY DWELLER AT THE BOUNDARY shall ( truthfully ) be: "The Heavenly One" and "My New City Of The West"... "

Simply amazing, isn't it...

So, Where Is HULK Mentioned In The Scriptures...

Well, among other scriptures, PSALM 2 ( actually ) says:

" WHY DO THE NATIONS CONSPIRE AND THE PEOPLES PLOT IN VAIN [ SINCE, THERE IS NOTHING THAT THEY CAN DO ]? The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against THE MIGHTY ONE [ YAHWEH, THEIR CREATOR ] and against his anointed [ MICHAEL, HIS SON ], saying:' LET US BREAK THEIR CHAINS AND THROW OFF THEIR SHACKLES.' THE ONE ENTHRONED IN HEAVEN LAUGHS [ WITH UTTER DERISION ]; THE MIGHTY ONE scoffs at them [ AS THEY, PREVIOUSLY, SCOFFED AT HIM ]. "HE" [ THE PRINCE OF MY OWN SPIRITUAL COVENANT ] rebukes them in "HIS ANGER" and terrifies them in "HIS WRATH" [ FOR, HE IS COMPLETELY UNSTOPPABLE ], saying:' I HAVE INSTALLED MY KING [ YAHSHUA, THE SAVIOR ] upon ZION [ IN JERUSALEM ], MY HOLY MOUNTAIN [ AS, SO LONG AGO, PROPHESIED ]. I will proclaim THE MIGHTY ONE'S DECREE:HE [ YAHWEH ] said to "ME "[ MICHAEL, THE ARCHANGEL ], ' You Are My Son; Today I Have Become Your Father. Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession [ THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, THAT I WILL NOT LOVINGLY PROVIDE YOU ]. You will break them with a rod of iron [ FOR YOU ARE MY OWN PHYSICAL HAMMER ]; you will dash them to pieces like pottery [ SINCE, NONE OF THEM COULD STAND AGAINST YOU IN BATTLE ]. 'THEREFORE, YOU KINGS, BE WISE [ TURN AWAY FROM YOUR OWN SERVICE TO LUCIFER ]; be warned [ MICHAEL IS COMPLETELY UNSTOPPABLE ], you rulers of the earth [ LEST, HE SHOULD GROW ANGERED AGAINST YOU ]. Serve The Mighty One with fear [ IN PROPER SPIRITUAL HUMILITY ] and celebrate his rule with trembling [ FOR, HE IS A TRUE GOD AMONG MEN ]. KISS THE SON [ WHOM I HAVE PROVIDED TO YOU ], OR HE WILL BE ANGRY [ AND, THAT ISN'T THE WISEST OF OPTIONs ] and your way will lead to your destruction [ HE IS MY OWN: "MILITARY CHAMPION" AND "ARMY COMMANDER" ], for his wrath can flare up in a moment [ AND, HIS OWN PATIENCE ISN'T UNLIMITED ]. Blessed are all who take refuge in him [ SINCE, THEY WILL NEVER BE SHAKEN ]. " - "PSALM 2:1-12".

Does it, not? Well, it sure reads that way to me...

Ahava and Shalom.

May YAHWEH'S Own: "Love" and "Peace" - be, continually, upon you!

Sathya Sai Baba 1926 To 2011

Sathya Sai Baba 1926 To 2011
Sathya Sai Baba, born Sathyanarayna Raju (23 November 1926 to 24 April 2011), has passed away. This story would have probably passed me by if it wasn't for the fact that a friend of mine (not a member of Bast Temple) has a picture of him in her temple room. While he was alive, there was some debate on whether he was a fraud or not.

I am not sure that practicing sleight of hand makes the message corrupt or not. After all, I have seen worse from others. My favorite quote from the man is something that he said about the Narasimhaiah Committee, which was created to study miracles and other superstitions. Being challenged to perform his miracles under controlled scientific conditions, Sathya Sai Baba replied, "Science must confine its inquiry only to things belonging to the human senses, while spiritualism transcends the senses.

If you want to understand the nature of spiritual power, you can do so only through the path of spirituality and not science. What science has been able to unravel is merely a fraction of the cosmic phenomena." Whether you take that statement as a spiritual lesson or the statement of someone who does not want to be tested because he is conning people depends upon your faith and your opinion of the man and his message.

Personally, having not dealt with the man or his organization, my opinion is still on the fence. Rest in Peace Sathya Sai Baba.

Can Paganism Withstand Persecution

Can Paganism Withstand Persecution
Will Paganism be able to run with the other "big dogs" of religion or will they only be seen as heathens and satanists? Mr. Charles Colson gives his opinion.

Paganism, especially Wicca, has been a hot topic as of lately. One of the more recent topics of discussion included the federal government and the wives of deceased military personnel fighting over the right to show a Wiccan symbol on a headstone. However, the average topic you read about Paganism and Wicca speaks of such things as sacrifice, killing, and of course Satan worship. This is why it is not a shock to know that even the Washington Post has jumped on the non-Christian bashing bandwagon by allowing one of their religious contributors throw his Christianized "two cents" into the ring.

The question that is being brought up currently is whether Paganism will be able to run with the other "big dogs" of religion. Of course, when there are backwards thinking individuals such as Charles Colson, founder of the Prison Fellowship and "On Faith" contributor for the Washington Post, it may make Paganism's rise begin to decline once again; or at least shove more "witches" back into the broom closet from whence they emerged. In a nation of free speech and beliefs, it is hard to believe that such hatred and lies are allowed to be released into society about one religious group or another.

According to Mr. Colson, "Those who publicly identify themselves as pagans are at best a marginal number and are basically no different from dozens of other cults." He also has decided to lump Pagans and Witchcraft with nature worship and human sacrifice. People that are as close-minded as Mr. Colson should be pitied. After all, this is the 21st century and there are hundreds if not thousands of different beliefs and thought systems in the United States and around the world. It is extremely painful to know that people, like Mr. Colson, speak out on topics that they are not rightfully educated in only to leave it to educated writers to come forth and offer the truth.

So after several different new accusations against Pagans and other alternative religions, how will they be able to withstand the brow-beating and negativity? Well, there is an easy answer to this question. The "alternative" religions will be able to withstand the verbal abuse and public assumptions because they tend to be more peaceful, loving, and forgiving creatures. Everyone can recall certain passages from the Bible that tell us to "turn the other cheek" or "love thy neighbor". The funny thing about these sayings and passages is that the people that live by these laws are the "alternative" or "bad" religions. Pagans, Sikhs, Hindus, Wiccans, Druids, Buddhists, and many other "alternative" religious beliefs are based on the concept of not harming others both physically or verbally. So why is it that they are the ones that tend to get a bad wrap when it comes to things like this then? Well that really is the million dollar question isn't it?

In the end will Paganism and other alternative religions be able to weather through the extreme waves of persecution? That is something you have to ask yourself as a religious person, whether Christian or non-Christian. It is up to us as a nation to stand for the beliefs of everyone in this country, not just our own. Nowhere is it written that united we stand, but only if everyone believes the same way. The true saying is "United we stand, together we fall", and that is how it should be. So instead of living in the Segregated States of America, let's go back to living in the United States of America.

Witchcraft Protect Ball

Witchcraft Protect Ball

WICCAN PROTECTION BALL

By D.J. Conway

Witch balls have been around for centuries, but is nearly impossible (and very costly) to buy one. These silvery balls were once common fixtures in windows, particularly in England, where they were said to repel evil thoughts and curses.
Most Pagans don't feel they can spend several hundred dollars to purchase such a ball, even if they could find one, but there is no reason you can't make one.

You will need a clear glass ball or Yule ornament with an opening in one end. If the glass ball has some kind of design, choose one you like or one you can change with further decoration. You will also need a bottle of silver paint found in hobby stores, a few drops of frankincense or patchouli oil, a spool of red thread, and a pair of scissors.

Cover you working space with newspaper to protect against spills. Take the metal cap off the ornament. Carefully pour a little of the silver paint inside the ball and swish it around until the inside is completely covered with the silver.
Set it aside to dry.

When the paint is totally dry, cut the red thread into three inch-lengths.
Carefully poke this thread into the open end of the ball. Continue cutting and putting the thread into the ball until the ball is nearly full. Put in a few drops of oil. Then put the end back on the ornament. If it has no end, seal it with candle wax.

When you hang the protection ball, chant:

Symbol of the Moon, symbol of the Lady divine,
Reject all negativity, defend this home (car), me and mine.

This protection ball can be hung in the window of your home or in your car. Any negative thoughts or ill-wishes directed against you are reflected back to the sender. You can also decorate the outside with appropriate designs. You can put them onto wreaths or make them part of a dried flower arrangement. Programmed for protection, these little Witch balls do a very good job.

An Athanasian Statement Of Faith

An Athanasian Statement Of Faith
1. We believe in one Unbegotten God, Father Almighty, maker of all things both visible and invisible, that hath His being from Himself. And in one Only-begotten Word, Wisdom, Son, begotten of the Father without beginning and eternally; word not pronounced nor mental, nor an effluence of the Perfect, nor a dividing of the impassible Essence, nor an issue (Gr.

); but absolutely perfect Son, living and powerful (Heb. iv. 12), the true Image of the Father, equal in honour and glory. For this, he says, 'is the will of the Father, that as they honour the Father, so they may honour the Son also' (Joh. v. 23): very God of very God, as John says in his general Epistles, 'And we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ: this is the true God and everlasting life' (1 Joh.

V. 20
): Almighty of Almighty. For all things which the Father rules and sways, the Son rules and sways likewise: wholly from the Whole, being like the Father as the Lord says, 'he that hath seen Me hath seen the Father' (Joh. xiv. 9). But He was begotten ineffably and incomprehensibly, for 'who shall declare his generation?

' (Isa. liii. 8), in other words, no one can. Who, when at the consummation of the ages (Heb. ix. 26), He had descended from the bosom of the Father, took from the undefiled Virgin Mary our humanity (), Christ Jesus, whom He delivered of His own will to suffer for us, as the Lord saith: 'No man taketh My life from Me.

I have power to lay it down, and have power to take it again
' (Joh. x. 18). In which humanity He was crucified and died for us, and rose from the dead, and was taken up into the heavens, having been created as the beginning of ways for us (Prov. viii. 22), when on earth He shewed us light from out of darkness, salvation from error, life from the dead, an entrance to paradise, from which Adam was cast out, and into which he again entered by means of the thief, as the Lord said, 'This day shalt thou be with Me in paradise' (Luke xxiii.

43
), into which Paul also once entered. [He shewed us] also a way up to the heavens, whither the humanity of the Lord ( ) in which He will judge the quick and the dead, entered as precursor for us. We believe, likewise, also in the Holy Spirit that searcheth all things, even the deep things of God (1 Cor.

Ii. 10
), and we anathematise doctrines contrary to this.

2. For neither do we hold a Son-Father, as do the Sabellians, calling Him of one but not of the same ( ) essence, and thus destroying the existence of the Son. Neither do we ascribe the passible body which He bore for the salvation of the whole world to the Father.

Neither can we imagine three Subsistences separated from each other, as results from their bodily nature in the case of men, lest we hold a plurality of gods like the heathen. But just as a river, produced from a well, is not separate, and yet there are in fact two visible objects and two names. For neither is the Father the Son, nor the Son the Father.

For the Father is Father of the Son, and the Son, Son of the Father. For like as the well is not a river, nor the river a well, but both are one and the same water which is conveyed in a channel from the well to the river, so the Father's deity passes into the Son without flow and without division. For the Lord says, 'I came out from the Father and am come' (Joh.

Xvi. 28
). But He is ever with the Father, for He is in the bosom of the Father, nor was ever the bosom of the Father void of the deity of the Son. For He says, 'I was by Him as one setting in order' (Prov. viii. 30). But we do not regard God the Creator of all, the Son of God, as a creature, or thing made, or as made out of nothing, for He is truly existent from Him who exists, alone existing from Him who alone exists, in as much as the like glory and power was eternally and conjointly begotten of the Father.

For 'He that hath seen' the Son 'hath seen the Father (Joh. xiv. 9). All things to wit were made through the Son; but He Himself is not a creature, as Paul says of the Lord: 'In Him were all things created, and He is before all' (Col. i. 16). Now He says not, 'was created' before all things, but 'is' before all things.

To be created, namely, is applicable to all things, but 'is before all' applies to the Son only.

3. He is then by nature an Offspring, perfect from the Perfect, begotten before all the hills (Prov. viii. 25), that is before every rational and intelligent essence, as Paul also in another place calls Him 'first-born of all creation' (Col.

I. 15
). But by calling Him First-born, He shews that He is not a Creature, but Offspring of the Father. For it would be inconsistent with His deity for Him to be called a creature. For all things were created by the Father through the Son, but the Son alone was eternally begotten from the Father, whence God the Word is 'first-born of all creation,' unchangeable from unchangeable.

However, the body which He wore for our sakes is a creature: concerning which Jeremiah says, according to the edition of the seventy translators 'The Lord created for us for a planting a new salvation, in which salvation men shall go about:' but according to Aquila the same text runs: 'The Lord created a new thing in woman.

' Now the salvation created for us for a planting, which is new, not old, and for us, not before us, is Jesus, Who in respect of the Saviour was made man, and whose name is translated in one place Salvation, in another Saviour. But salvation proceeds from the Saviour, just as illumination does from the light.

The salvation, then, which was from the Saviour, being created new, did, as Jeremiah says, 'create for us a new salvation,' and as Aquila renders: 'The Lord created a new thing in woman,' that is in Mary. For nothing new was created in woman, save the Lord's body, born of the Virgin Mary without intercourse, as also it says in the Proverbs in the person of Jesus: 'The Lord created me, a beginning of His ways for His works' (Prov.

Viii. 22
). Now He does not say, 'created me before His works,' lest any should take the text of the deity of the Word.

4. Each text then which refers to the creature is written with reference to Jesus in a bodily sense. For the Lord's Humanity was created as 'a beginning of ways,' and He manifested it to us for our salvation.

For by it we have our access to the Father. For He is the way (Joh. xiv. 6) which leads us back to the Father. And a way is a corporeal visible thing, such as is the Lord's humanity. Well, then, the Word of God created all things, not being a creature, but an offspring. For He created none of the created things equal or like unto Himself.

But it is the part of a Father to beget, while it is a workman's part to create. Accordingly, that body is a thing made and created, which the Lord bore for us, which was begotten for us, as Paul says, 'wisdom from God, and sanctification and righteousness, and redemption;' while yet the Word was before us and before all Creation, and is, the Wisdom of the Father.

But the Holy Spirit, being that which proceeds from the Father, is ever in the hands of the Father Who sends and of the Son Who conveys Him, by Whose means He filled all things. The Father, possessing His existence from Himself, begat the Son, as we said, and did not create Him, as a river from a well and as a branch from a root, and as brightness from a light, things which nature knows to be indivisible; through whom to the Father be glory and power and greatness before all ages, and unto all the ages of the ages.

Amen.

Another Kurtz-inspired story ( I was sending him an e-mail and the Muse chimed in, so I have to give him credit for inspiring the tale ). There are 2 endings that I came up with, so I made 2 stories, hence the 'b' on this one.

John was late back from studies.. And the 'short-cut' through the woods had proved worse than he thought. Now the moon was up, and as he wandered through the grass and gourd fields all he wanted was a warm fire and something to eat.
Stopping for a rest he heard a commotion coming from over a hill. Curiosity overcame sense and leaving his small pack on the ground, the lad grunted and grabbed at whatever he could to climb up.. Until he got a glimpse of what was making the noises. John dropped to the ground, and crawled the last few yards to the top of the hill. Parting the grass he stared down in the clearing, completely unable to comprehend what was going on below...

Wolves the size of ponies were standing - some on 2 feet, some on 4.. All were moaning as tongues slid across throbbing canine-meat, thrust stiff dog-cocks under lifted tails into eager partners. Semen coated many a muzzle and rump, and still they showed no signs of slowing down. Another sound made him turn his head.. In another moon-light piece of ground, women with dark fur and cat heads stirred some kind of brew in a big pot, sipping the potion, while others caressing straw-brooms intimately. His young eyes boggled at watching a well- breasted 'lady' lick and lewdly caress the wood handle that jutted between her breasts before moving it downward, back up. Lower again, Teasing herself with the end, moaning as it slipped between her furry thighs. Others did the same, all making animal sounds as wooden handles teased then slipped inside them.

John found it hard to breathe.. Despite their appearance, the closest the lad had come to seeing a naked female was the village cows, and here were a handful showing all they were born with - And then some! He expected to see other creatures - Vampires, Goblins, Satyrs.. But except for some scarecrows with Jack's Lantern heads that stood around like there was nothing to do, the Witches and werewolves were all. And the former were ordinary enough some of the fear left him.. Some. Until something rustled around him.

"Boyhhhhhh.." He was immediately cold, hearing a whisper that could have been dry leaves rustling. Not moving, not Daring to move he gripped the ground tightly, eyes clenched. And nothing else happened. No howls of lust for his flesh, no yowls from the cat-fems who from the sound of it were much too busy with their broom-lovers to be bothered anyway.. Daring to look over his shoulder, he gasped - A wisp floated over him. It was unlike any creature he had ever seen, but he Knew a Haunt when he had one touching him.

It took all of John's will not to scream as something caressed his buttocks.
Tendrils invaded his trowsers, his shirt, tugging at them, and despite his best efforts - that is the best he could do without gaining the attention of the revelers below - they peeled him like a pale shrimp. Leaves bigger than his father's hand slapped his pale cheeks, caressing them as tendrils continued their incessant strokes on his dick. The youth shuddered moaning.. It was only a few months until he would take place in the Harvest Dance when he would have to pick a Wife and the caresses started a burning, yearning lust in his groin..

John gritted his teeth, feeling thicker vines wrap around his nuts, his dick, making his hips move of their own accord. He gripped the grass, watching the debauchery, smelling the musk wafting up on the breeze as his maleness got squeezed, stroked, tugged on.. Again, the leaves slapped his naked rear, tough fronds that moves as hands would over the smooth skin. Little tendrils worked along his tip, making the burning pleasure run up his spine and Exploding through his head, creating a secondary one lower down. Creamy, hot man-cum poured out onto the ground in hard spurts, aided by smooth green stems that worked his nuts over, squeezed and twisted around his dick until the lad passed out, still pumping semen.

* * * *

Morning came with an aching crotch, a pounding head and a cool breeze on naked skin. The vines that had tortured him so were still around, now a bed covering the hard ground. Getting up he moved slowly, still a little dizzy. Found his clothes and a nearby stream to wash up in. Then he followed the vines to a patch of strangely shaped gourds. Finding one that was dry enough to rattle, he picked it carefully and continued on homeward. Maybe he wouldn't Pick a bride, but finish his schooling and move to someplace more secluded.. Where Wold Vines could grow and multiply.

The End.. ?
