Today I'm sharing a bit of iconic history in two forms. First, Vivienne Westwood. If you haven't had a chance to visit the Westwood Tribute, and you love fashion and fashion history, you have only a couple of days left. Westwood's career has been dedicated to turning conventional fashion on its head. It is truly all about the creativity. Not only was I oohing and aahing over the many designer tribute items exclusive only to this event, but I found I gained an even further appreciation for the magnitude of Westwood's influence in fashion and punk/rock styling culture after walking through the Tribute hall, very much like a museum, showcasing Vivienne Westwood's creative genius and fashion legacy.
I used several Westwod tribute items from Lush Limited to create my second historical icon, my view of the legendary Valkyrie, the Norse warrior demi-goddesses who spirited the strongest and bravest fallen soldiers to Valhala. Thanks to the Westwood influence, however, my Valkyrie has been a bit modernized.
First and foremost is the "stand-up and stand-out" Impale hair from Lush Limited. Made out of gold and silver spikes and rings, it would work great for any kind of rock or punk theme, or for adding a touch of shiny danger to your avant looks. It is like jewelry for your head, and a fitting headdress for my modern warrior woman. Then, with a combination of Lush Limited and Madrid Solo makeups, my Valkyrie leaves an impression both glamorous, haunting, and truly iconic. This is the new face of Norse mythology.

Yesterday evening the Parish Hall of St. Benedict's was happily invaded by a horde of wild children, about 14 of them between ages three and ten, all ready to rehearse their roles as shepherds, angels, and for one boy and one girl as Joseph and Mary. Their parents were with us, all ready to bring them back on Christmas Eve for the Nativity Play, to be followed by the first Christmas Eucharist. Before and after the dress rehearsal, the atmosphere was one of noise, some confusion, excited children adding to each others' level of excitement and anticipation. It was just what it ought to be. For the adults too, it added to the existing sense of community and family as a parish.
Most of us remember that Christmas had an almost intoxicating effect on us as children, and somehow it is very comforting to see that this has not changed. The world is so different today than it was in the 1950s and 1960s, when I belonged to the wild tribe we call childhood. But this has not changed; children still get happy and excited when they see adults doing strange things, like bringing a tree into a house and lighting it up. So, when a couple of the mothers came out of a Sunday School class (teaching it) with the idea of a childrens' pageant on Christmas Eve, their idea had my full support, as long as they organized it. For the children to attach their Christmas joy to the Church, in their minds to have the wonder and meaning of Christmas centered in the place where we worship God together and receive His sacraments among those who share that faith, may help that excitement mature into a solid faith that always retains both joy and awe over the Incarnation. Or, as C.S. Lewis once wrote, that the flavor of Easter candy might always make them think of the resurrection of Christ.

Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand: And the LORD shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes: And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers." Deut. 6:20-23
When I recall my own childhood, I know that I first learned the Gospel of Christ from my parents because of Christmas and Easter. Theology was beyond my grasp, especially before I could read. But, the joyful remembrance of God the Son born in Bethlehem, portrayed in a creche on top of our mantle, with the magic of a Christmas Tree and a lot of undeserved new toys, grew into an appreciation of the Incarnation and Nativity of the One who is fully God and fully man, and the love of God revealed by coming among us in our own nature (I recall a more advanced form of that same excitement in 1970, at the age of 12, when I was at my first ever Christmas Midnight Mass). In Holy Week and Easter, also, the rituals of the occasion in the home led to a lesson in God's love revealed for us on the cross where Jesus died, and the joy of His resurrection. As I grew older, this matured into gratitude for Christ's full, perfect and sufficient sacrifice, oblation and satisfaction for the sins of the whole world, and for my sins, and liberation from fear itself through His defeat of death.
I shared the earlier part of my childhood with the older of my two brothers. Our parents added to our bedtime stories, after they were ended each night, reading of the Ten Commandments, of the Creed called Nicene, and taught us the Lord's Prayer.
"And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up." Deut. 6:6,7
What do you teach your children?
Some Christians have treated the holy days as error to be avoided, like the Puritans who opposed the Church of England for celebrating Christmas and Easter. Some treat the Holy Days as a time of pressure and anxiety, being careful like Martha about many things, and not choosing the better part of sitting at Christ's feet. Indeed, some want services in the Church to be "just so" without any noise from young children.
I heard an account a few years ago, by a man telling of the experience of having a four-year old girl tell him the Nativity story (and if anyone can locate the actual text, I will be grateful). Mary and Joseph took their long trip with nothing to eat but Peanut Butter sandwiches, she told him in hushed and somber tones. After setting up the whole picture and getting to the end, with the shepherds and the angels having arrived on the scene, she said to the man; "and do you know who the baby was? He was God!" And, so the story concludes with her letting out a cry of happiness and doing a double back flip on a sofa, "which," the account ends, "seemed like a perfect response to the truth of the Incarnation."
With all my reading and writing of theology, and my real life experience in Parish ministry, I hope I never lose something inside of me that also wants to do a double back flip when I consider the revelation, "The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us."
"UPDATE, 12/24 7:15 PM-The Children's Christmas pageant went very well, and the Parish Hall was filled. Fourteen children each having parents and a few other relatives, makes a good crowd. The children sang some Christmas hymns during their Nativity Play, loud and clear. Some were dressed as angels, some as shepherds, and three wise men in altered Burger King crowns. This will continue to have meaning for these children many years from now, when they are grown and look back. The first Mass of Christmas followed, the second will begin at 11:00 PM.

I came across a fine book review in First Things by Monica Migliorino Miller, which you may read in its entirety by clicking here. She has made a very good point, namely that the error of women's "ordination" violates Christological dogma. I quote a few lines below:
"Christ is the Lord of history, he is the Lord of his Church. Behind the 'fundamental reasons' is a christological one, and while the Church's documents insist on Christ's freedom, it is the theologian's task to explain why this is important...the theological reasons are absolutely necessary unless we are to accept that Christ's will is arbitrary and shrouded in an unfathomable mystery that makes no sense to believers...The theology of an all-male priesthood has to do with the complementary/nuptial meaning of human sexuality and Christ's masculine identity as bridegroom to the Church-a marital "I/Thou" relation that forms the very order of the covenant of salvation itself...there are trinitarian, christological, and metaphysical reasons for Christ's incarnation as a male...The ban on women priests is not simply a matter of the Church remaining true to a fact-Christ only chose men-but a matter of the Church remaining faithful to the fundamental truth of the relation between the order of redemption and the order of creation-an order the Church has no power to undo."
All of these lines are excellent, because Christology is the issue in the Women's "Ordination" debate. And yet, these excellent points show why all of our arguments over the years have not so much as slowed the tide of apostasy in this matter. How can we talk about theology to people who answer with sociology, political theory and trendy psychology? We are up against a kind of blindness that carries culpability, indeed, a form of "willful" ignorance. Why do they fail to see the priesthood as a theological subject? Why do they think of it in strictly political terms? Such blindness is sinful because it involves volition, the will not to see.
In January I posted a blog article in response to a piece by Frederica Matthews-Green, because, with all due respect for her, I did not accept her idea that the significance of the priesthood can be reduced to what happens at the altar. It is the most important part, yes, but not the whole. In so doing, I wrote something very relevant to this whole subject, which can be found here.

From 21 to 23 June 2011, a big conference will be held at the American University of Sharjah (AUS) in the UAE, jointly organised by the British Council (BC) in partnership with AUS and in association with the International Society for Science and Religion (ISSR).
The conference forms part of the British Council's "Belief in Dialogue" initiative, which is intended to foster closer inter-faith dialogue on matters of common cultural interest, including religious belief and the place and significance of the sciences in various worldviews.
The conference is titled "BELIEF IN DIALOGUE: SCIENCE, CULTURE AND MODERNITY".
In addition to plenary lectures and discussions, parallel sessions will be devoted to the exploration of three broad themes running through the conference:. Science and Religion: Two Cultures?. Cultures of Belief in Modern Societies. Ethical Values and Human Responsibility. This theme will explore ethical issues in relation to the environment, to questions of sustainability and to problems arising from new technologies - including such controversial matters as stem-cell research.
A further stream within the conference will comprise a series of seminars specially designed for about 50 selected student participants. One or two public debates are also planned and will likely be broadcast by the BBC World Service and BBC Arabic TV, along with other media activity. Thirty outstanding invited speakers have confirmed their participation, including HE Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, the Turkish scholar who is currently the Secretary-General of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC), who will be giving the opening keynote speech, Tariq Ramadan, the well-known scholar of Islam and Philosophy, and many others from around the world.

Known as the Lotus Temple due to its flowerlike shape, the Bah'a'i House of Worship is the most famous temple of the Bah'a'i Faith. The lotus shape of the temple is formed by 27 free-standing marble clad petals arranged in clusters of three to form nine sides. Since its opening in 1986 it has become one of Delhi's most visited buildings. The lush park around is well landscaped but mostly off-limits.
9 - RANAKPUR TEMPLE
Dedicated to Adinatha, the Jain Temple in Ranakpur rises majestically from the slope of a hill. The temple is supported by over 1444 marble pillars, carved in exquisite detail. The pillars are all differently carved and no two pillars are the same. The construction of the temple and quadrupled image symbolize the Tirthankara's conquest of the four cardinal directions and hence the cosmos. The dating of this temple is controversial but it was probably built between the late 14th and mid-15th centuries.
8 - TAKTSANG DZONG
Situated on the edge of a 900 meter (3,000 feet) cliff, the Taktsang Monastery or Tiger's Nest creates an impressive sight, and is the unofficial symbol of Bhutan. It is about 2-3 hour, totally up-hill hike from the parking lot to the temple. The original monastery was constructed in the 17th century but most of its buildings were destroyed in a tragic fire in 1998. Since then the temple has been painstakingly restored to its former glory.
7 - TEMPLE OF THE EMERALD BUDDHA
The Wat Phra Kaew or Temple of the Emerald Buddha is a famous temple in Bangkok, located within the grounds of the Grand Palace. The main building is the central ubosoth, which houses The Emerald Buddha. A jade statue adorned in gold clothing it is one of the oldest and most famous Buddha statues in the world.
6 - TEMPLE OF HEAVEN
The Temple of Heaven in Beijing is regarded as a Taoist Temple although Chinese Heaven worship pre-dates Taoism. The temple was constructed from 1406 to 1420 during the reign of the Yongle Emperor, who was also responsible for the construction of the Forbidden City in Beijing. Not only a beautiful sight, the temple is also surrounded by a vast public park popular with local residents practicing tai chi in the mornings and on weekends.
5 - GOLDEN PAVILION
Kinkaku-ji or the Temple of the Golden Pavilion is the most popular tourist attraction in Kyoto. The pavilion was originally built as a retirement villa for Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu in the late 14th century, and converted into a Zen temple by his son. Unfortunately, the pavilion was burnt down in 1950 by a young monk who had become obsessed with it. Five years later, the temple was rebuilt as an exact copy of the original. The beautiful landscaping and the reflection of the famous temple on the face of the water make for a striking sight.
4 - HARMANDIR SAHIB
The Harmandir Sahib, better known as the Golden Temple is the main attraction in Amritsar, and the most important religious place to the Sikhs. Construction of the famous temple was begun by Guru Ram Dast in the 16th century and completed by his successor Guru Arjan. In the 19th century, Maharaja Ranjit Singh covered the upper floors of the temple with gold, which gives it its distinctive appearance and English name. It's a stunning temple, and always full of thousands of pilgrims from all over India, excited to be at a place that they usually only see on television.
3 - BAALBEK
Baalbek is a spectacular archaeological site in northeastern Lebanon. From the 1st century BC and over a period of two centuries, the Romans built three temples here: Jupiter, Bacchus and Venus. Created to be the largest temple in the Roman empire, the temple of Jupiter was lined by 54 massive granite columns each of which were 21 meters (70 feet) tall. Only 6 of these colossal columns remain standing but even they are incredibly impressive. The best preserved temple at the site is the Temple of Bacchus built in 150 AD.
2 - BOROBUDUR
Located on the Indonesian island of Java, 40 km (25 miles) northwest of Yogyakarta, the Borobudur is the largest and most famous Buddhist temple in Indonesia. The Borobudur was built over a period of some 75 years in the 8th and 9th centuries by the kingdom of Sailendra, out of an estimated 2 million blocks of stone. It was abandoned in the 14th century for reasons that still remain a mystery and for centuries lay hidden in the jungle under layers of volcanic ash.
1 - ANGKOR WAT
Angkor Wat ("City Temple") is a vast temple complex at Angkor, built for king Suryavarman II in the early 12th century as his state temple and capital city. Angkor Wat stands on a raised terrace above the rest of the city. It is made of three rectangular galleries rising to a central tower, each level higher than the last. It is the only temple at Angkor to have remained a religious center since its construction, first as a Hindu temple then as a Buddhist temple.

New Moon is here and for me it certainly signifies a huge transition. Just got back from a much needed vacation to the Happiest Place on Earth 5 days ago and I am finally beginning to feel re-energized.
I've made some career transitions over the last 2 months and everything is falling into place. I work 'full time' for Demand Studios as a freelance writer and part time for other freelance companies: Break Studios, Experts123 and The Content Authority. Demand Studios is my main source of income. I have a blog With that being said, this new transition has allowed me to find more free time for vacationing with my family and doing other things I love, like blogging and frolicking in the meadows. For the 15th year in a row, a Christian ministry will not be allowed to stage cage fighting matches at the Bolingbrook Village Picnic. The Civic and Cultural Affairs Commission rejected a last minute appeal from Full Contact Gospel Ministry on Saturday.
"We're disappointed." Said Teacher Lenny Z. Hopson. "But we understand that God punches us in the soul so that we may build up our spiritual fortitude. We'll try again next year."
According to the ministry's filing, they wanted to host a "Test your faith" demonstration on the main stage, in addition to putting up an information booth at the Picnic. Members of the audience would be invited to step into their octagon and challenge a fighter to two rounds of combat.
"What better way to show that faith conquers all, than to prove it through trials of combat? The UFC is full of Christian fighters. We're just taking their lessons and teaching them to Bolingbrook's lost residents."
When their application was initially rejected, one of the reasons listed was that all the blood in the octagon might offend attendees. Hopson laughed when he read it.
"The blood in the octagon is nothing compared to the blood our Lord Jesus Christ shed for our sins!" Said Hobson. "The families of Bolingbrook celebrate his torture, death and resurrection every Sunday, and they're not offended. Why should they be offended if I break someone's arm in the name of our Lord? If I save their soul in the process, then my opponent will feel that it was worth all the pain, and the medical bills!"
At the appeals hearing, sources say that FCGM held a match in the Village Board Meeting Room. The commission watched as one fighter, Michael, fought for five rounds against a different opponent each round. He faced off against a Jewish fighter, a Muslim fighter, a Hindu fighter, a Buddhist fighter, and an atheist fighter. Michael knocked out the Jewish fighter, and then submitted the next three fighters. During the last fight, the atheist managed to pin Michael on his back, and started punching him.

Michael then used his legs to put in opponent into a headlock, and started repeatedly punching him in the face. The atheist submitted seconds later.

Claar then explained that this was the most important picnic in the village's history, and that there was no room for something as controversial as cage fighting.
"If we can entice enough visitors to go shopping in Bolingbrook after the picnic, we can erase our budget shortfall. Then I can finally tell Bonnie to shut up!"

We know that when the lord of a quadrant combines with the lord of a trine a Rajayoga results. Or a mutual exchange between quadrant and a trine lords results in a Rajayoga. A Rajayoga is a very auspicious combination and its placement in a Kendra or a trine increases the value of a horoscope.
But after studying quite a good number of horoscopes it has been noticed that mutual exchange between the seventh and fifth lords is quite damaging considering married life and progeny. I will illustrate a few examples to trace my point.
Birth Chart No.1. Aries: Lagna; Cancer: the Moon; Leo: Venus, Mars and Ketu; Virgo: Saturn; Libra: the Sun and Mercury; Aquarius: Rahu; and Pisces: Jupiter.
This is the chart of a female native born on 22-10-51. She got married in May, 72 to an Engineer who was class I officer in Railways. Within a month after marriage, the native discovered that the husband was having extra-marital relations with two other ladies. On questioning the husband she got his severe beating and seeing the other ladies coming to her husband on and often made her life miserable. At last after two months she left the husband and went to her parents' place. After two years of separation, she got divorce from the court. Now in her horoscope, we see that the seventh lord Venus is in the fifth and fifth lord the Sun is in the seventh debilitated.

Alonzo at Atheist Ethicist, one of the atheist blogs I read regularly, recently posed the question, "What if atheists ruled the world?" This is an interesting question and one I'd like to address in this post. By the way, I'm a firm believer in the value of using trackback to facilitate cross-blog discussion.
Since I continue to stand by my restricted definition of atheism as meaning a lack of belief in god, I have to reframe this question as follows: What if there was no religious belief? This is important because it recognizes that atheism does not imply anything other than lack of belief. Atheists are not necessarily going to be more rational (except in their views on religion), more intelligent, more liberal, or more anything else. Again, I stress this because I recognize great diversity among atheists. While I am both an atheist and a secular humanist, I do not make the common mistake of confusing the two.
So, what if there was no religious belief? I agree with Alonzo that the elimination of religion would not result in the end of conflict. Religion is a primary source of conflict, but it is certainly not the only one. Scarce resources, cultural differences, power struggles, international misunderstandings, etc., would continue without religion. Alonzo is right to raise the question of whether atheist factions would emerge - of this we could be quite certain. Humans are wired to detect differences, and intergroup conflict is an inevitable part of the human condition. This is another reason why I believe that the restricted definition of atheism is so important. To assume too much similarity among atheists (e.g., we are all liberal, rational, free of biases, etc.) is dangerously misleading.
At the same time, I am not sure that Alonzo is being hard enough on religion. Religious doctrine is inherently divisive. All the major religions teach that believers are better than non-believers or believers in the "wrong" gods. If you add the imagery of violence and cruelty contained in scripture, you are on the road to glorification of the self and dehumanization of the other. Faith pushes one down this road by making belief without evidence not just acceptable but mandatory. Faith is the enemy of reason and the primary tool of authoritarian systems.
Besides potentially reducing conflict, would there be any benefit to the elimination of religious belief? Since religious belief continues to be an obstacle to scientific/medical progress (e.g., stem cell research, evolution, etc.), tolerance of human diversity (e.g., homophobia, sexism, etc.), and efforts to improve this life (e.g., global warming, animal welfare, etc.), a world without religion would facilitate growth in these and other important domains. In addition, there is something very appealing about my fellow humans learning to live with one less delusion. Just think how much of a difference it could make if people were willing to live in this life rather than the next.

What is life for? So many things seem important; there are so many things to do. All of them are vying for our attention, and our interests drive our lives via the many seemingly small and insignificant choices we make each day.
But what is it that is ultimately important? Why does this world, with all its limitations, struggle, opposition, and darkness exist?
I believe the answer is fundamentally quite simple-that this world exists for us (consciousness) to learn about who we are. The ancients called this self-knowledge.
The ever increasing number of recorded near-death experiences (NDEs) provide some of the most compelling evidence for this.
Floating away from their bodies, no longer constrained by the physical world and soaring into the majesty of an eternal and spiritual realm, the experiences of those who have died and been sent back share many consistent and common themes.
All of a sudden, the career, the kids, the TV, the projects they were working on are totally gone, and many are faced with what is called a "life review" in which they experience every moment of their life all over again, but feeling in a profound way not only what they went through, but also how their own actions made others feel.
This learning is the sum total of what they took from the life they'd left behind. What was important was not what they'd learnt from reading or degrees, or watching videos or the news, but from their interactions with others.
Most of all-how they had treated those around them. It's easy to get caught in the events of life and to miss what is really important; it's easy to go off on tangents of just acquiring intellectual knowledge and information (even of a spiritual kind), and feel a sense of progress.
But an intellectual knowledge is totally different from self-knowledge, which is based on conscious experience. In NDEs there are no congratulations for becoming a bestseller, and no one else to blame for whatever they did or didn't do.
There is no special treatment for the famous or the expert - everyone is graded by their level of consciousness.
Many who've had an NDE also describe experiencing an understanding and knowledge of the universe from a spiritual perspective that was beyond words, and that this understanding was instantaneous. It becomes apparent then, that the understanding they had to get in life was not even about the universe itself, but about who they are. This video interviews a number of people who had an near-death experience, with many of them recalling a life review and being guided as to what was important in their lives. Life is a school for consciousness; sometimes people from NDEs are told to go back to learn and do more.
The higher part of our being has chosen for us to be here, whatever our circumstance, and our job while we're here is to learn about ourselves and realize our full inner potential.
It is the one type of understanding that can't be gained anywhere else or in any other way, and is what this world is for. The understanding of the world around us only serves as a mirror in which we can see ourselves more clearly.
Like any school, life has different grades and levels, and someone can progress to higher and higher levels of learning the more they grow in consciousness (and all its qualities like love and peace); graduation from this school of life is called enlightenment, but the learning is infinite.
The interactions we have each day are what we are being graded on. How we spend our day, is how we spend our year, and how we spend our life; it's important to get it right and actively determine where we are headed through our own learning.
The struggle against darkness in the world, and the wish to spread the light of truth, brings even greater opportunities for learning as well as creating them for others too. Someone working for truth in the world, for example, is going to learn more about who they are as well as help others to realize the same, than someone who spends hours in front of a television and even shut away in a meditation room. Today, is an important day.
There is something each of us has to take from it right now and use in the eternal journey of our consciousness. The Illuminati, I'm prepared to say, are woefully misunderstood. How exactly it all happened, I'm not sure. But somewhere along the line, public perception of the mysterious group and Illuminism, the philosophical ideal behind it, got ridiculously entangled with just about every kind of conspiracy theory out there. Untangling all those strands is a project for another time, but what I'd like to do here is offer my own unique perspective on what the Illuminati were/are all about.
I've only recently come to this theoretical explanation of Illuminism, and I'm more than open to being corrected and further "enlightened" on the subject, but here goes. The points which fired off these connections for me come from the Wikipedia description of Minsky's Society of Mind:
SOCIETY OF MIND
The society of mind theory views the human mind and any other naturally evolved cognitive systems as a vast society of individually simple processes known as agents. These processes are the fundamental thinking entities from which minds are built, and together produce the many abilities we attribute to minds.
Compare to Jane Robert's 'Seth teachings' about the mind:
"Each personality contains an inner civilization of the self which he yearns to govern... The ego rises from the civilization of the psyche just as a leader rises from the masses of the people; appointed, chosen, or taking control according to an inner politics first existing within the greater inner mind."

From what I have read of Illuminati philosophy and writings, they *seem* to be pointing to the same thing: an inner process whereby the individual's mind is liberated from disharmony through the yoking (yoga) together of these warring groups. For the Illuminati, their symbolic container for this process was a striving against the control of centralized religion over the lives of men. The flowering of this trend among learned individuals who went through the process of Self-Actualization within approximately the context outlined above brought to us nothing less than the Age of Enlightenment, Natural Law, the Industrial Revolution, the Modern Age, and the founding of the United States of America {See also: Freemasonry}.
As a result, they actually seem to have set the clock back to principles which flourished in Ancient Greece, Rome and the Near East. From writings connected to the Illuminati (supposedly):

HOW IT WORKS (TENTATIVE EXPLANATION)
* On account of cultural conditioning, the natural mind is thrown out of balance by growing up and "learning" and conforming to societal standards. Cultures whitewash authentic sense data with mental, physical and emotional habits which promote the healthy functioning of the social order, and bend the individual to fit within that particular system.
* In most (many? These are all just estimates...) cases, this results in a personality which is easily manipulable by whatever the dominant power is culturally. Cultural leaders can use symbols which human nervous systems have been imprinted with in order to motivate specific types of behavior. Depending on how well and judiciously that's done, there may arise a conflict: the individual is not a happy, healthy, functioning member of society. They become alienated, listless, confused, disoriented, thrown out of intent/action harmony. Their mind enters into a state of chaos.
* The chaos and pain becomes so great or overwhelming that it must be beaten, or death may ensue {See: rockstar suicides}. Various esoteric systems exist to overcome this chaos. The simplest, most direct, and effective one I've seen is Miguel Ruiz's Four Agreements. His system is all about analyzing the agreements and assumptions which govern our behavior, and seeing how they bring conflict into our lives, and writing with ourselves new agreements about how we can be {See also: Gathertogetherin musical, script-writing}
* As this process begins to work, the individual feels an extraordinary burst or explosion of creative energy. This has to do with the fact that much of our psychic energy is used to build and maintain walls between ourselves, our experiences, emotions, etc. When those walls are removed, the authentic human is revealed - illuminated, enlightened, whatever you want to call it.
* This state seems to be characterized by a higher-order functioning of the mind, organization and creative ability. This is where "genius" comes from: people who are able to make super-human leaps in knowledge and understanding, because the habitual routines of culture have been stripped away from their perceptions, so that they can see things as they actually are, and envision how they could become. This is also where prophets seem to come from - people who have a direct hotline to "God".
* Also typical to this state of mind seems to be a leap to another level of interacting with people: you begin to withdraw your projections of what other people seem to be and allow them to simply be as they really are. You become 100x more honest, more effective, and better able to communicate. This makes you become completely up front about your expectations with other people, and leads you into areas like social contracts, agreements governing interactions between people, voluntary associations, etc. In other words, all the things that the United States was actually founded on: Illuminati and Freemasonic ideals that men can and should govern themselves, that they have the right to do that and that society exists as an agreement which we can amend as needed. Like I said, I think it's a beautiful philosophy and I frankly don't see what is supposed to be so damned scary and conspiratorial about it.
The take-away point I'm trying to make with all that: that one who has mastered oneself has achieved a harmonious union within their mind and inner experience, which they then bring to bear on their interactions with other people. The "virus" spreads from person to person by example, by effective and authentic communication, by teaching and by agreement. And before you know it, you have a whole bunch of sovereign individuals running around, making agreements with one another, creating cool projects and enhancing the experience of everyone their shared value community.
And if that's what it means to be a member of the Illuminati, then totally sign me up - because that's the way life should be as far as I can tell!

Prosecutors took more than 2 years to to take Annaliese's case to court, using that time to sort through the bizarre facts. Anneliese's parents and the two exorcists were accused of negligent homicide. The evidence pointed to her starving to death. Today, her grave remains a place of pilgrimage for rosary-praying and for those who believe that Anneliese Michel bravely fought the devil.

When you find yourself in a moment in your life where everything seems to be piling up on you, your feelings begin to sag into frustration, anger or despair, look up, Beloved Ones. Call to me; ask for my help. I will gladly give it. There is no event, no drama, no illness or pain that cannot be soothed by the Love of one who adores you. Even if you are in great physical pain, or you have suffered a terrible loss, I can come to you and heal the ache in your soul. I know how do this because it was done for me. You know of the pain I suffered at the end of my life. It is time I spoke of it here.
I knew when I was taken away by the soldiers what would lie ahead for me. I had seen the vision of myself on the cross, and had made peace with myself and with my Heavenly Host - the team of loving angels and Masters who watched over me during my life here on Earth. I had talked with Prime Creator, whom I love as my Father/Mother (for they are both). I called on all of them, there in the Garden of Gethsemane. I had learned to go into deep meditation, to leave my body, in preparation for the trial we knew I would have to undergo. I was prepared, as prepared as any soul in a human body could be - or at least I thought I was.

I knew the condemnation of Pontius Pilate, who was acting in concert with all those who wished to see my demise, would be a devastating blow. Being in a human body makes it difficult to see the greater meaning when your own people - the community of my peers and my neighbors - condemn you to a hideous death. There were moments when the disappointment was almost too much to bear, because it meant that my words had not touched their hearts, and for some, my life and my teachings had no power to change their minds. The jeering crowds told me that humanity was still under the influence of Darkness, and this added to my pain.
My beloved family - wife, mother, father, my friends and disciples - knew how to send the loving energy which carried me, lifted me, sustained me as I carried the heavy cross which was to become the symbol of my life on Earth. Truly, I felt no effort, no pain as I made that last journey. I was able to relinquish my hold on the body as the executioners bound it to the cross and began their gruesome task of nailing my hands and feet to it. I rested in the powerful energy of Love which my beloveds channeled to me, lifting my spirit and sustaining me in the higher dimensions where physical pain does not exist.
I saw the eyes of those whose job it was to execute me, and I forgave them. I cried out for their forgiveness, for I saw their terrible pain, and I knew they would suffer a thousand deaths before their actions would be cleansed from their souls.
I felt the presence of God, smiling to me through the channel of Light which my dear ones created and sustained moment by moment. It was only when the cross was raised, and they saw my body there, taken from them so cruelly, that they faltered for a moment because of their own terrible pain. For a moment, they could not bear the sorrow they felt, and they forgot our plan to sustain the Light channel.
For a moment, my consciousness crashed back to Earth, back into the body in great pain. For that moment, I too lost my grip on the Light which sustained my soul. As pain seared through the body like a knife, I cried out, "Father! Why have you forsaken me!" My cry roused my beloveds, and they resumed their heroic efforts to sustain me. They carried me to the Light when I did not have the strength to do it by myself. In spite of their own pain, they were able to hold onto their great Faith, and to remember the promise we had made to God. Together, they were able to help me to make my ascension to higher planes.
We stood vigil as life began to pass from the body, but we were able to keep the thread of Light to the heart, which continued to beat in an imperceptible rhythm, attuned to the Christ Consciousness of the 7th dimension. It was our plan, the moment we had been trained for. When the body was wrapped in linen and carried away, it was accompanied by my dear Mother Mary, my wife, and the others who knew what was to occur.
It was important that any observers be convinced of my death so that the final stage could be accomplished without interference. There in the cave, I returned to take possession of the body which would be my last full incarnation on Earth, and lifted it into the 5th dimension. Here it has remained in safekeeping, the body which will serve me again when I return to walk among you.
When I reappeared to talk with my disciples, it was with this body. I was then able to appear and disappear at will, by moving through the portal to higher dimensions. It was this process which I wanted to teach - this Ascension which is the model for all of you to follow when you to raise yourselves to the 5th dimension. Fortunately, you will not have to experience the pain of crucifixion. Although some of you may now be in pain because of illness or injury, you will be able to raise yourselves, as I did, to the place of peace, the 5th dimension where all suffering drops away. You must learn to do this in order to accomplish your own Ascension.
It would be a very difficult assignment to lift the body with you into higher dimensions, if you did not have the training and help to accomplish it. This is why we have stressed over and over in messages from all the Masters, from Mother/Father God and Prime Creator, that you must now, this day, begin to take possession of your body. Acknowledge your ownership and your responsibility for your own health, and learn to heal all illness, all pain. In doing so, you are restoring your deepest connections to the body which was your precious gift of Life, given to you by your Creator, to serve you as the vehicle which will allow you to ascend, in possession of the body, so that you will not need to ever again incarnate in lower dimensions.
You will be free to move throughout the dimensions, in your Lightbodies for adventures in higher dimensions and in your physical body when you wish to return to revisit Earth, to assist those who come after you. You will be able, with training, to recalibrate your density to suit the needs of those who are in lower dimensional states and who require a visible presence in order to work with you.
We have in place a plan to help you learn to take possession of your bodies as you heal the illnesses and disabilities which this life has left you with. We have asked Kathryn/Lady Portia to lead healing groups in which a large group of healers will assist, just as my beloved team did for me, so that each person may experience the energy of Light as they restore their own deepest connections to the body.
By accomplishing this healing, you will each prepare yourselves for the day of your own Ascension. You see, it is not simply a matter of learning to leave the body, as many of you do in meditation and in sleep. You must learn to take full possession, in awareness of every cell, every organ, bone and muscle, so that you can transport your body, and you with it, through the portal to the 5th dimension.
This sounds like a difficult challenge, doesn't it? It is indeed, but you will receive training, as I did, and you will learn to master the feeling of being in complete alignment, mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. You will also be able to officially sign up to be a healer, even if you have no experience or knowledge of healing techniques. You see, these sessions are being conducted in the 5th dimension, where all beings communicate telepathically, and where you are well known to the healers who have volunteered to be of service to help you on your path to Ascension.
