One of the branches that I, the Wizard, belong to cares for sick and injured humans. We use magic potions, magic words and instructions and we harness the power of lightening to repair human flesh. We occasionally bring the dead back to life.
The Witch is an artist, teacher and bringer of light and love in the community. We both work always with the intention of harming none, for the good of all and according to free will.
Together and with others, another of our branches focuses on raising and training young Witches and Wizards. The young are trained in many of the ways of Witchcraft and Wizardry and protected from passive, addictive or mindless activities that would weaken their powers - such as, in these times, TV, gossip, computer games, negative beliefs and consumerism.
They are instead encouraged into creative activities and guided to find their own special talents.
Another wise activity is growing magical foods and herbs for nourishing and healing humans. We use no chemicals on our crops instead we use organics, bio-dynamics and permaculture.
The Great Time has now come. Many non-magical folk are ready to wake from their slumber and learn how to live true to themselves. The world is transforming. Many Wizards and Witches are now focused on sharing our way knowledge and way of life in ways that non-magical folk can understand and learn - so they to can become magical. All around you there are wise ones working in many ways to awaken other humans. Some write songs that touch people's souls, others create stunning artworks that help non-magical people to perceive the beauty around them.
Some Wizards and Witches choose to live ordinary lives with a magical presence so that all around them are inspired. They may be that rare telephone call center person who is cheerful, patient and helpful and really brightens your day.
A key challenge for aspiring Wizards and Witches is to find which branches they are called to. One of the key tools for this challenge is for the apprentice to follow their dreams - no matter how impossible they seem. This is the essence of a Witch or Wizard's work.
