I have a new set of oracular divination cards. I call them this because they're not really tarot cards in the usual sense. They describe themselves as an Oracle card set and I will go with this description. Especially given that I am going to DELPHI soon to see THE Oracle. Seems appropriate that I should "gem up" on this ovatic tradition.
The set was devised by that eminent Celtic mythology scholar and druidical wise one - John Matthews. Of course, he got Will Worthington to do the artwork for the cards. Any sensible person in this field would do. I have several other sets of tarot cards featuring his excellent artwork (e.g. The Wildwood Tarot, The Druidcraft Tarot) and I highly recommend them for anyone in the field of druidic divination.

As you know, though, my work has been taking on an Arthurian bent over the past few years. Since 2010, when I encountered Merlin as a tutor and guide along my spiritual path, I have found that I have been working through Arthurian archetypes each year. This year seems like no exception to that, but trying to find information about Galahad/Gwalchaved is very difficult. Hence, I felt I needed a meditation tool that would allow me to get into "the spirit" of this archetype. When I saw the Camelot Oracle, and that it was written by John Matthews, then I needed only a split second to decide to buy it.
I have only read the manual about them - I haven't tried using them yet. This being The Quiet Time I'm not wanting to stir things up just yet. I will get acquainted with the set first, for the next few weeks, and then when it comes to that all-important Imbolc or Spring Equinox moment when the year begins in earnest I will do my first draw with these cards and then report back on their efficacy for me.
As the set uses the Arthurian Archetypes I fully expect that I will be aligned to their output. I need first to confirm that my "champion" for this year is what I expect it to be. Once this is done I'm off - full flow - and let's see where it takes me this year.

CROSS (EASTERN)

"(Dawkins' God" originally appeared in the March 2008 edition of Touchstone, a Journal of Mere Christianity)
If Richard Dawkins wants to refute what Christians believe, he should not declare his own belief in Divine Transcendence. "Time" Magazine recently asked him and Francis Collins, a Christian who heads the Human Genome Project, what caused the universe to exist and suggested that the answer could be God.
Dawkins answered: "There could be something incredibly grand and incomprehensible and beyond our present understanding," To this Collins responded "That's God." Yes, said Dawkins,
but it could be any of a billion Gods... the chances of its being a particular God, Yahweh, the God of Jesus, is vanishing small - at least the onus is on you to demonstrate why you think that's the case... I don't see the Olympian Gods or Jesus coming down and dying on the cross as worthy of that grandeur. They strike me as parochial. If there's a God, it's going to be a whole lot more incomprehensible than anything that any theologian of any religion has ever proposed.
How is this an argument "against" the Christian faith? (By the way, what does Dawkins mean by "our present understanding"? Does he anticipate some future state of exaltation and glorification that will increase it?) Furthermore, Dawkins has been a favorite of atheists for a long time, and yet here he clearly professes agnosticism. And, what he is agnostic about is revelation.
In the Bible we read of God who dwells in the darkness and of God hidden by the radiance of blinding light. St. Paul writes of "the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see" (I Tim.6:15, 16).
In the first of his Soliloquies, St. Augustine writes of God as "incredibly grand." The entire tradition of Apophatic theology is about God who is beyond our understanding. God is spoken of in negatives, because we cannot know the Nature that is Wholly other than every created nature, infinite, without beginning or end.
Dawkins believes that "The chances of its [this incomprehensible God] being a particular God... is vanishing small." Yet the Transcendent and incomprehensible God beyond our knowing whose possible existence he concedes is a particular God, and quite in keeping with the one element that he actually brings into question: Have we been given the complement of the Divine mystery, namely, revelation?
Theology is, though the modern mind may find this astonishing, a science. It is based on statements of fact, including miracles. The Christian faith takes its stand on one thing above all, the eyewitness accounts of those who saw the resurrected Christ.
This is strengthened in its status as actual history by the martyrdom of the earliest witnesses. What stands as a unique event in history is not merely an empty tomb, and not the story of the resurrection, but the deep conviction of the earliest Christians that Christ's post resurrection appearances were events real enough to die for.
This provides for us a fact to consider, namely that what we have, not only a particular God, but specific revelation, is the opposite of "vanishing small." Instead, it is quite substantive on the basis of evidence.
In terms of this revelation, the post resurrection appearances verify the teachings of Jesus, as recorded by eyewitness accounts, and lead to our central doctrine, the Incarnation. Dawkins fails in his attempt to criticize Christian teaching because he describes the very opposite of what we believe.
"I don't see the Olympian Gods or Jesus coming down and dying on a cross, as worthy of that grandeur," he tells the magazine. Here we can sympathize with him, because some theologians have made too much of St. Paul's use of the Greek word "kenoo" to mean that Jesus "emptied himself" into human nature.
TAKEN UP IN CHRIST
Never has the Church taught it this way. Always, the revelation has been understood to be that Jesus Christ is God the Word (Logos), or God the Son, having taken finite human nature into His infinite being, time into eternity, mortality into life, created nature into uncreated Person, the known into the unknowable. "God was made man that man might become God," as St. Athanasius wrote in his "On the Incarnation".
Dawkins is right to say that the idea of a knowable and definable god leaping down from Mt. Olympus is not worthy to be compared to this revelation. It is the very opposite. He is wrong to think of Jesus as an Olympian God. He is the very opposite.
Although Dawkins asserts his estimation of the crucifixion of Christ as unworthy of Divine grandeur as a crushing criticism of Christianity, it is simply an echo of St. Paul's words. "For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men." (I Corinthians 1:22-25).Unworthy of Divine grandeur indeed; that was the point.

The first time I heard some one equate the cross with child abuse was in Berkeley at the GTU class I wrote about earlier. It was a woman who stated that unchristian notion. So as I write on biblical women and contemporary Christian women I also want to look at some ways that Christ's redemptive death on the cross intersects with the faith of women.
And going beyond that, but looking still at the cross of Christ, I want to explore the objection that some men have to women being in ministry because supposedly, according to the men, they can't represent Christ since they are women.
As you will hopefully see, these thoughts will all merge together. I should add that I am going to reach back to early church history and forward to the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century.
Last year, during the celebration in the PCUSA of the ordaining of women as Deacons, Elders and Pastors, the Women's Ministry Area as well as Presbyterian Women included the first Presbyterian woman to be ordained in their list of honored women. Louisa M. Woosley was ordained in 1889 by the Nolin Presbytery in the Cumberland Presbyterian Church. On the Women's Area web site is an article about her, "From Preacher in the Field to Mother in the Church: Reverend Louisa M. Woosley."
What the article does not stress at all is Woosley's very definite orthodoxy. Surprisingly in her little book "Shall Woman Preach? Or The Question Answered", she uses a woman to emphasize her understanding of the crucifixion.
That text of terror, as some have called it, is the story of Jephthah and his daughter who ran to meet him after his victory against the Ammonites. Jephthah had vowed to sacrifice the first thing that came from the door of his house if God gave him the victory. The first to greet him was his daughter.
Woosley believed this story to be somewhat like the one of Abraham attempting to sacrifice Isaac to God. (The difference of course is that it is God who called Abraham to obedience; Jephthah acted out of rashness.) But Isaac is a picture of Jesus who gives himself for the sins of humanity. And Woosley sees the daughter picturing the kind of obedience Jesus offered to the Father in his death. She writes:
"In the history of this heroic woman, who gave her life to vindicate her father's words, we have vividly brought before our minds the promised redemption through Christ. God said that the seed of the woman should bruise the serpent's head. In the fulfillment of this promise, 'we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death. He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.' The sword which was the instrument of her death, reminds us that they came out against Christ with swords and with staves. He, too, invited the fatal blow: it came; he passed out and now appears in the presence of the Father for us. We have a faithful high priest, one that is easily 'touched with the feelings of our infirmities.'"(39)
But going back much earlier is the slave girl Blandina. Eusebius tells her story in his "Ecclesiastical History." Her story occurs in Gaul, and it is during a time of great persecution. Others around Blandina, including her mistress, were afraid that because of weakness she would deny her faith in the midst of torture. But Blandina proved to be a faithful witness.
After much torture and time in prison she is led into the arena with three other Christians. Eusebius writes of Blandina:
"Blandina, however, was bound and suspended on a stake, and thus exposed as food to the assaults of wild beasts, and as she thus appeared to hang after the manner of the cross, by her earnest prayers she infused much alacrity into the contending martyrs. For as they saw her in the contest, with the external eyes, through their sister, they contemplated Him that was crucified for them, to persuade those that believe in him, that every one who suffers for Christ, will for ever enjoy communion with the living God. " (176)
Faith in the redeeming death of Jesus Christ on the cross is in deed an essential doctrine of the Church. And women are not allowed to stand idly by either denying or ignoring this glorious truth. Rather they are called, as are men, to live out what it means to be a witness for Jesus Christ.

Their subtle methods have been long and arduous, and recently they have been less successful. Humans are blocking their access, and Otherworld Entities must attempt new methods of contact.
In the past, Otherworld Entities were consulted by Spiritualists from all religions. Their methods required years of practice and dedication, and often only attempted by elite sects. These Spiritualists were a connection point for the uninitiated to the Otherworld for knowledge and desired change.

There are several schools of thought concerning How magic works in spirituality...
1. Psychological changes occur through magic and we create our reality during magic, but our circles, energy, etc is all psychological... when we change our inner mind, we act differently, and that change casues things to naturally fall into place. "Magic is all in our heads"
2. The Astral Plane. When we do magic we "heighten our conciousness" and partially enter into another realm of existance. We "pull the strings" of the other plane, and that plane in turn affects events in OUR plane to help us acheive our goal.
3. Manifestation of real forces in our OWN plane.
So... hmmm... All of this has to do with reality... Are we REALLY creating changhe during ritual, and is that change manifested here, or elsewhere. Obviosly, the first one is the most currently scientifically supported idea. Years of Psychology show that if you change your thoughts, you can create real, lasting change throughout your life. But when we work magic we are not simple "changing what we are thinking"... we are trying to use our minds and spirit to manipulate and direct ENERGY. That energy is not necessarily the simple common energies of the universe that science recognizes- physical motion, light, sound, electricity... Instead it is something unique, energy with enough level of consciousness to actively create or manipulate reality.
So is it REAL? When you are casting that energetic circle, are you creating a mindset? Are you making a circle on the astral plane? Or is there REAL energy that you are REALLY working with on this plane?
I ask all these questions... But I do have my own opinion, so please don't tell me what TO think, but rather, what do you feel, based on experience.
I personally feel I am 99.9% sure that there is very real energy being worked and creating change on this plane of existance. I also feel psychological change takes place AND there is some "string pulling" on the Astral and Divine planes.
When I cant a strong circle I can feel it. It feels slightly more "buzzy", a degree or two warmer than outside of my circle, and has a "film-like" surface. I am an artist, so It would seem that I would be a visualizer, however,I can only sometimes "see" my circle, and that is when i focus a lot on it, but I can always feel and sense it. It is REAL, and it is on this plane. When I am no longer in trance... it is still there UNLESS I take it down.
To some degree, I feel that what you believe makes your reality. So, if you don't believe the energy is really there, naturally you WON'T harness and direct the energy in such a way to create a real energetic circle. and so you will only have psychological change. If you feel the circle is only manifesting on the astral plane, naturally you will only direct that energy TO that plane, and you wont have energy in this one... But if you believe in all of the groups of manifestation, all will naturally occur...
That said, we are still limited by natural law. there are some things that cannot be done. This isn't to say you can't try new things. Science has yet to figure out all the forces in the universe... and if you can telekinetically move a paperclip around, or you can psychically communicate, by all means, DO IT!... That said, beware of scams. There are some smart people out there who have come up with clever devices and tricks that are simple illusions, and they sit back collecting money while laughing at the "poor fools" who think they can levitate pencils or whatnot... Psychic development should be relatively free, require no special devices, and works all the time.
Real magic works WITH logic, not against it.
So, here is your homework... If you are of any of the above schools of thought... I challenge you to do this excercise:
Prepare for a ritual or circle. Take a ritual bath and dress however you feel comfortable (be it skyclad, yoga gear, robes, etc).
First, cast a circle of the "mind" Physically draw out a circle considering it a construct built within your own mind that will allow you to be open to emotional and spiritual change.
Second, draw a second circle on the astral plane... try to feel your conciousness "rising" and in that "dreamlike" plane cast a circle. Realise that you are the command center and you can direct energies on this plane with the inhabitants there with freedom and ease.
Third, even if you are skeptical, draw a energetic circle on out real, everyday physical plane. Try to feel in, not just with your mind, but with you sense of touch, taste, sight, smell even hearing. Firmly believe that it is a real entity you are creating on earth. "Pour" Your energy into it until the air feels slightly "thicker" and more tangible.
Now that you have cast all three circles... do you feel like this circle is more powerful, mor connected, stronger? Does it feel that same as other circles. Don't doubt yourself, don't second guess yourself, allow yourself to trust your intuition and not be dissuaded by our CULTURAL ideas.
If you are new to circle casting, the affect may not be as strong as those who are practiced. After you have done this excercise, please come back and comment! Did you feel or notice a change... are you skeptical, did this help or hinder you spiritual experience.

The founding of Ordo Templi Orientis began with a wealthy paper chemist, Carl Kellner (1851-1905). During the years right after college, I was the director of a yoga studio at the ashram where I was living near Boston. One day, at a time when we were behind in promoting our major event of the year, which featured a number of well-known teachers, the head of our local community arrived late to our weekly staff meeting, visibly upset. I asked him what was wrong.
In a barely controlled voice, he thrust in front of me a flyer I'd created for the event. "Just take a look at this." Immediately, I saw the typo in bold print-it was the wrong date. My heart sank: we'd just printed three thousand of them; I'd screwed up big time.
Although my mind scrambled to solve the problem, the weight of failure sat like a big stone in my chest. At the end of our meeting I began an apology: "This was my responsibility," I said in a low monotone, "and I'm really sorry for messing up..." Then as I felt the others' eyes on me, I felt a flash of anger and the words tumbled out: "But, you know, this has been a huge amount of work and I've been totally on my own." I could feel my eyes burning, but I blinked back the tears. "It would have been nice if someone had been available to proofread... maybe this kind of thing wouldn't have happened."
For the rest of the week I was trapped in self-disgust. Hour after hour my mind replayed every recent incident that highlighted my flaws: I'd lied to get out of a social obligation, exaggerated the size of my yoga classes to another teacher, gossiped to feel more like an insider. Instead of generosity and selfless service, my focus was on my own spiritual progress. Once again I found myself facing what I most disliked about myself: insecurity and self-centeredness. I felt disconnected from everyone around me, stuck inside a self I didn't want to be.
Because my self-doubts seemed so "unspiritual," I didn't talk about them with anyone. At work I was all business. I withdrew from the casual banter and playfulness at group meals, and when I did try to be sociable, I felt like an imposter. Several weeks later, the women in our ashram decided to form a sensitivity group where we could talk about personal challenges. I wondered whether this might be an opportunity for me to get more real.
At our opening meeting, as the other women talked about their stress at work, about children and health problems, I felt my anxiety build. Finally, when there was a pause in the conversation, my confession came pouring out. "I know I do a lot of yoga and teach a lot of classes, that it looks like I'm a helpful, caring person... That may be true in some ways, but it's also a front. What I'm covering up, what I don't want anyone to see, is how self-centered I am, how selfish and judgmental." After pausing and glancing around at the solemn faces, I took the real plunge. "This is hard to say, but... I don't trust that I'm a good person, and that makes it hard to really feel close with anyone."
Directly after the meeting, I retreated quickly to my room, curled up in fetal position on my futon and cried. By naming my experience out loud, I had stripped away a layer of the small self's protection. Feeling raw and exposed, I started mentally berating myself for having said anything. I told myself I should get up right that moment and do some yoga. Instead, I began trying to figure out what really had gone wrong, what was making me feel so bad about myself.
Suddenly I realized that this inner processing was yet more of the same. I was still trying to control things by figuring them out, by trying more practice, by trying to manage how others might see me. Recognizing these false refuges stopped me in my tracks-I didn't want to stay stuck. An inner voice asked, "What would happen if, in this moment, I didn't try to do anything, to make anything different?" I immediately felt the visceral grip of fear and then a familiar sinking hole of shame-the very feelings I had been trying to avoid for as long as I could remember. Then the same inner voice whispered very quietly, a familiar refrain: "Just let it be."
I stretched out on my back, took a few full breaths, and felt the weight of my body supported by the futon. Again and again my mind tried to escape into reviewing what I'd said hours earlier, or rehearsing what else I could say to explain myself. Again and again the intention to "let it be" brought me back to the fear and shame I was experiencing. Sometime during the night, lying there alone in the darkness, these emotions gave way to grief. I was struck by how much of my life-my aliveness and loving-was lost when I was caught in feelings of unworthiness. I let myself open to that fully too, sobbing deeply, until the grief gradually subsided.
I got up, sat on my cushion in front of my small meditation altar, and continued to pay attention. My mind quieted naturally and I became increasingly aware of my own inner experience-a silent presence suffused with tenderness. This presence was a space of being that included everything-waves of sadness, the feeling of my drying tears, the sounds of crickets, the humid summer night.
In this open space thoughts again bubbled up -the memory of being defensive at the staff meeting and my subsequent attempts to offer a real apology; then a flash forward to me teaching the yoga class I'd scheduled for the following morning, trying to project a positive, confident energy. This time, as these scenes came into view, I felt like I was witnessing a character in a play. The character was continually trying to protect herself, but in the process, she was disconnecting more and more from herself, from authenticity, from the potential sustenance of feeling connected to others. And in each scene, I saw her perpetually "doing" in order to feel better about herself, "doing" in order to avoid pain, "doing" in order to avoid failure.
As I sat there watching this play, I had, for the first time, a compelling sense that this character wasn't really "me." Her feelings and reactions were certainly familiar, but they were just ripples on the surface of what I really was. In the same way, everything happening at that moment-the thoughts, the sensations of sitting cross-legged, the tenderness, the tiredness-were part of my being but could not define me. My heart opened. How sad to have been living in such a confined world; how sad to have felt so driven and so alone!
That night by my altar, an old sense of self was falling away. Who was I, then? In those moments I sensed that the truth of what I was couldn't be contained in any idea or image of self. Rather, it was the space of presence itself-the silence, the wakeful openness-that felt like home. A feeling of gratitude and reverence filled me that has never entirely left.

This opinion piece, appearing in the Jewish Press several days ago, is of interest. The author is Sinem Tezyapar, She is an executive producer at A9 TV, broadcasting from Turkey, Istanbul. She is a political and religious commentator and a peace activist. She is also a Muslim. She wrote a lengthy piece in The Jewish Press proposing that the Temple at Jerusalem, which is currently closed to Jews for prayer while open to Muslims, is a spot where both faiths could share. The piece is titled: A NEW MUSLIM VISION: REBUILDING SOLOMON'S TEMPLE TOGETHER
Here is an excerpt of her piece:
"As a devout Muslim, I take pleasure when Jews pray to Almighty God, and their praying anywhere in the world, including at the Temple Mount, would be a glad tiding for me as well.
As a devout Muslim, it would be a joy for me to see Prophet Solomon's Temple rebuilt as well. No, you did not hear me wrong. Prophet Solomon's Temple being rebuilt in all its magnificence and glory would be a great delight for me, as it would be to any Muslim. Under different circumstances, in an atmosphere of trust, love and brotherhood, Muslims would welcome this with enthusiasm. The Temple of Solomon is also a historically important place, and rebuilding it would be a wonderful occasion for all believers to contemplate. Every Muslim, every believer, will want to experience the spirit of those days again, and strive to bring the beauty of those days back to life. Actually, it is everyone's aspiration for that city to be adorned, to be beautified, and to regain the magnificent glory it had in the days of the Prophet Solomon.
Solomon's Temple being rebuilt does not entail any harm to these shrines."
This piece is only one opinion after all, so why do I take especial note of it? Because here is what the bible says the Temple will be like during the Tribulation:
Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, "Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there, 2but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months.(Revelation 11:1
There are three different areas of this holiest of sites that are mentioned in the verse.
-The temple building itself. This includes holy place, the holy of holies, the altar and the people who gather there to worship
-the outer court, the open area that surrounds the temple. In the verse John is told not to bother with that
-the holy city, the city of Jerusalem.
The temple will have been rebuilt by the time the Tribulation comes along. We know this because the antichrist stands in it and stops the sacrifices (Dan 9:27) Verses in Matthew 24:15 and 2 Thessalonians 2:4 also refer to the temple during the Tribulation. For there to be sacrifices, there must be a holy place. For the antichrist to stop the sacrifices, they must have started.
We also know that the Temple Mount organization has spent much time developing all the items necessary to resume sacrifices. They have trained Levitical priests, practiced sacrificing, woven the priestly garments, and built an altar. All this they did according to Old Testament Law. They have even gotten the cornerstone and blessed it. It is like a pre-fab building, parts are ready and all they need is the go-ahead to build. It won't take long, perhaps a month, I've read. Later today when I come home from work I'll put up the links to all these so you can see how far along they are.
The only problem, aside from the political one and the religious one, lol, is the spot to build it on. Many people have said that there IS room at the Temple Mount to build a third temple, and not have to touch the Muslim Al Aqsa mosque which squats there like a buzzard. And according to the verse in Revelation 11, there does seem to be a picture of the two existing side-by-side at the same time.
End time students already know that the third temple will be rebuilt, the discussion has always been, where. Some have proposed that the last days wars of Psalm 83, or Ezekiel 38-39 would mean that the Muslim mosque is razed during the fighting. Others have said that a spot at Shiloh for the third temple is likelier, because Shiloh was the original place of the tabernacle for 400 years. Still others deny that any temple at all is built, but we see from the verses in Daniel and Revelation, among others, that this is the least likely scenario.
The most plausible one is that the two religions co-exist and the temple is re-built on the exact spot we all think it will be: atop the temple mount in the holy city of Jerusalem. There has always been room for a temple at the holy spot, despite the Muslim occupation at their mosque. And the Revelation verse proves it. What we could not imagine was the climate of the day allowing such a thing as side-by-side religious activity.
Today's evil spirit is of an ecumenical bent. We see too sadly, Evangelical Christianity co-existing with Catholicism, Buddhism's mystical side permeating fundamental Christianity, Chrislam, etc. Judaism and Islam "will "co-exist as revelation shows, exactly as the Muslim opinion writer proposes. The Lord will see His plan come to pass. Changing minds and hearts to see that it happens is the very power of God. Praise Him in all His ways!

Yoga's meaning to me is a lifelong spiritual journey that brings together unity between the mind and the body. Yoga provides me with stress relief that is soothing to my mind and it also gives me the workout I need to tone my body. One thing that I noticed is that meditation is a key combination to yoga practices. It enables you to observe your breathing, focus and concentrate fully and understand the importance of the human breath and movement.
Everyone has the capability for self-destruction if things are not balanced, Yoga teaches me that life is a gift and it gives me the strength to face life's challenges. I have done yoga on and off for years and I have not been able to dedicate myself completely and fully until now. I haven't found true focus until now and I realize it is more than strengthening your body with postures; it is however a complete lifestyle change and most of all it is about having discipline within yourself.
I now find myself doing yoga everyday verses one time a week in class. It is the best part of my day and helps me through the day being strong mentally and physically. I developed a new found respect for yoga over the last few months when studying it fully. It is just the beginning of my journey but I know I am on the right path.
One of the additional benefits that I acquired in the last few months while practicing and learning yoga is knowing and understanding that your body is a temple and I now know to take great thought and observation of what I put into my body. Going back to discipline, I have noticed the changes within my body and within myself, thinking one day I can use this and help others find a more full and beneficial life style and in turn to me that will bring me the most satisfaction in my true soul searching quest.
In conclusion, this experience has been an awakening to something much bigger. I have always known was in me but I just didn't have the right knowledge, tools and perseverance with the drive to continue what I know has been one of the best decisions of my life. I am thankful and grateful that I have dedicated myself fully to yoga and look forward to what each day has to offer me because I know I will be able to handle whatever the day brings because I will be prepared for it mentally, physically and emotionally with my yoga practices. I feel I found a key element a stamp a staple in my life now, a happiness I never knew I'd miss so much because I never experienced it in its true form. I learned we are all a union, a force, energy and the universe. I know this will always be a true part of me now. This will be a practice that I will continue to strive to perfect for many years, to live in a much more fruitful, beneficial and blissful life that is true to my nature.

Exercise is good for the mind, body and soul.
Meditate
Meditation is just as important as exercise and proper eating. Quieting the mind can help you tackle things in your mundane and spiritual life that might ordinarily be overwhelming.
Honour the Goddess and God
Honouring the Goddess and God can be as simple as lighting a candle or some incense and saying a quick prayer, or performing a full ritual and feast in Their honour. It is up to you, but it is the best way to become in tune with Deity.

When we are "in the spirit" we walk with God. Eceryday, all day holding His hand. Walking through life with Him. When we do what "we "want, we pull away from Him. I imagine my three year old snatching her hand from me and running in the wrong direction toward danger. (Like the street)

Babylonians: build a tower, make a name for themselves and not scatter (Gen11:4)
God scatters them over the whole earth. (Gen 11:8)
God gets what God wants.
Isaiah 46: 9-11 - 9 Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.
10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please.
11 From the east I summon a bird of prey; from a far-off land, a man to fulfill my purpose. What I have said, that will I bring about; what I have planned, that will I do.
People have visions of us, the new prophets the standard God has raised, with blood under our eyes. This is Jesus' blood and it is war paint.
Our only hope of resisiting the deep indoctrination of worldliness is our DELIBERATE TRAINING IN GODLINESS, WHICH IS BIBLE STUDY, we won't be successful without it.
Tutor me Jesus, teach me to win.
God is building a bridge composed of scripture. God is the preacher. We are the congregation. The gospel is the good news of God's blessing on mankind. Every person, angel, demon - those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth will bow at the name of Jesus and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of the Father. What a vision! That is all it will take is the mention of His name.
God's promise is this: " I Will." anything God does, satan attempts to counterfeit.
Isaiah 14: 12-14 - 12 How you have fallen from heaven,
O morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth,
you who once laid low the nations!
13 You said in your heart,
"I will ascend to heaven;
I will raise my throne
above the stars of God;
I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly,
on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain.
14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High."

All sin is born from the words " I will"
Obedience is found in the words "Thy Will"
Jesus was the sacrifice. God provided the Lamb. God did it all. It has NOTHING to do with us and EVERYTHING to do with God. God provided the lamb. God gave the only son that He had. God did not provide a sacrifice "for "us he provided one "instead "of us. You receive it with humility and gratitude on your knees. When God provided the lamb for Abraham instead of Isaac it says he looked up and saw the ram caught in the trees. There are no trees "up" on a mountain. Abraham looked up because when God called to him he had fallen on His face. Abraham NEVER wavered in his belief that God could perform His promise. (Romans 4:20-22) and it was credited to him as righteousness.
Resolve - to make clear or understandable, to decide, to find an answer to.
But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way. Daniel 1: 8
To resolve must be practiced every single day. Doesn't mean you won't be tested and tempted. If the decision to be Jesus' disciple were easy it wouldn't take resolve. godliness is never accidental. Neither is victory coincidental. They come from daily resolve. Consistency.
The lifeblood of integrity is becoming the same person no matter where we are - no matter who's around.
Integrity (Latin) entire- wholeness/completeness. complete - undivided.
Intedgrity not only calls us to live inside-out, it keeps the outside from coming in. Consistency in our walk and in our talk becomes a transportable cloak of protection around us, going anywhere we go. - Beth Moore
Daniel 1:17 - To these four young men GOD GAVE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds.
Whatever Babylon (our culture) teaches us - God interprets for us. We read the language of our culture with the lens of God. We retain a God-centered worldview so that ultimately the world may view our God.
